Communication as to when they would be here was decent and they were dedicated to completing the job in a timely manner. They also did a great Job of keeping the dust down when they sanded. Then the wheels fell off. I was told the process included taking the baseboards off. These were not removed which left some areas where stain was left all over the baseboards and other areas where you can still see the older, darker stain up against the boards. A few times, I brought this up to the worker and they retouched that area, but not all the rest of the areas that had visible dark stain. They were not very discerning or proactive in their quality. Additionally, the Bona Commercial grade HD top sealer was supposed to be the hardest stuff on the market. It's nowhere close. We've had these floors for 11 years and never had any issues with dents, grooves, or gouges until this project. And third, the worker told me I should be able to be on the floors in about 3 hours. So in 6 hours, I started moving furniture back onto the floor and promptly noticed deep grooves and dents from doing so. I will say the original quote said 72 hours. But who thinks to go back to the quote to find this information? So I asked the worker and 3 hours was the answer. Now I have grooves in my floor. When I brought this up to Peter, he got very defensive and out of frustration asked "what do you want me to do?" It's a tough question. Do I go through this painful process again by starting over? Or do I just deal with it? I chose to deal with it. But make sure others who may consider them understand what could happen. In conclusion, I certainly do NOT recommend paradise flooring as they cut corners and misrepresent the quality of their workmanship and materials.

I had a pretty bad leak coming from behind the wall which had, over time caused extensive damage. I needed to have it all ripped out down to the studs. The water damage was really bad, & previous work from previous owners had not been done well, and it was apparent there had been very sloppy work in the past which ultimately led to water damage so severe that the drain line became dislodged from the drainage hole in the tub. We decided to go with the recommended complete renovation, & threw in some add-ons such as in-suite laundry & a water line to the refrigerator, but the big work was the bathroom. I have heard the term Jack of All Trades, and I wouldn't dare insult him with such a term as not many people know the full expression is 'Jack of all trades, master of none' - his work is amazing, and he clearly takes pride in the quality of his work every step of the way. No cutting corners at all. If anything, he will do better than needed. Plumbing work was beautiful and well thought out. It was a shame to have to cover it up. The tile work is very nice. Perfect, clean lines on the floor tile as well as the tub shower surround. Trimmed out very nicely. Josh's vision, passion, & dedication to his craft is impressive and refreshing to see. His work & results speak for itself. I have been extremely happy to have hired him. He is warm & friendly, but also very professional. Very fair and honest pricing. From the very first meeting with Garrett, everyone at Flat and Fancy has been professional in all aspects. Garrett was very clear on our options and worked with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department to get all the required permits in place. The crew performing the actual work was friendly, professional and kept us informed when the city dictated changes to the approved plans. They worked with the inspector to minimize the impact of those changes. The concrete work is better quality than what I've seen on a work related project where we're paying millions.... I won't mention that company by name but Flat and Fancy far outshined that work. The finished product is very nice and is exactly (less the city dictated changes...) what we needed for our home. I'll get some pictures up so you can see but we definitely recommend them.

That is costing me $22,000 to fix. I'll still have to have drywall reinstalled and painted. Other unprofessional acts were not competing the job. Owner wouldn't answer calls or emails. I had to stop payment on my credit card to get them to call me and complete the job. After stating that the job was complete, an employee did come out and finish the job - another 8 hours. Because I had put a stop payment on the card, then they required me to have a cashiers check. I don't recommend this company.
