First time trying Dave's and was a complete disappointment. It's on Thursday around 9:30pm. There were like 2 tables with customers so it's not busy. We only coming in to get the milk shake. We went to the machine and decided to order from there. We ordered regular Oreo milk shake and a regular m&m milk shake. The bad part is we were waiting around 10-15 mins for just 2 of the drinks. The cashier seems to be talking to his friend who was the customer at the counter. We wouldn't mind but it seems like it's taking too long for just 2 drinks. So I came up to the counter and ask for the order. The cashier seems surprised and asked what was the order. I said i ordered it from the machine. That's when i know he didn't pay attention for the order on the screen. He apologized, which is fine. And he quickly made the order. The lady who looks like the manager also came in and gave us coupons for free slides (which later we found out it has already expired) Upon arriving home. We opened the lid and found out that they didn't filled the drinks all the way. And my boyfriend said his m&m was super packed that he only got a little bit of the drink. Overall we were disappointed. We paid around $18 and didn't get amount we paid for. We wish the worker would pay more attention with the service because it's not too late at night and it's not busy. read more

We shared the 2 chicken sliders, which basically were regular sized sandwiches, as far as I'm concerned. Large pieces of flavorful chicken on a soft bun. The fries were nice and crisp. I was really expecting a lot better based on the atmosphere and the vibe of this restaurant chain. This was my first ever time at a Dave's hot chicken. I found the entire food to be significantly worse than you're run of the mill, average, fast food. Straight up trash. The entire plate was just absolutely covered in salt. It was so greasy and so disgusting. If I wanna spend that kind of money on getting fast food- I'd seriously recommend any other place on south willow street. Not worth the hype. read more

I came back yet again... I absolutely love this place for chicken. Those who love fried chicken must try this spot out! I usually add the honey and Dave's sauce into my slider and tender, but if you don't want the chicken too sweet then you can just add the Dave's sauce. I typically go for medium spice as it's not too spicy but has just enough for a good kick. Overall, highly recommend this spot, if you don't eat a lot, try just getting the slider. Love love the pickle slices. They're large pieces and juicy! The environment is also pretty clean and well maintained and the ambiance is a metro urban vibe. Service was also relatively quick even on days when the times are pretty busy. 10/10. read more

I work at the Helping Hands Homeless Shelter in Manchester. We have made multiple attempts to contact Dave's Hot chicken. We had a member named Keith here. He reported that he lost his job at Dave's Hot Chicken. He didn't have a place to stay, and had to resort to sleeping at Dave's Hot chicken just a few nights. So what did management do? Did they help their employee out? Help him get on his feet and find housing? No, they fired him. Is this how Dave would want you to treat the good people who cook their chicken?? What all because a few nights he had to sleep next to the chicken fryer?? Do you think he really liked that?? Do you think he had a choice?? No one is proud of that. Well guess what, we haven't been able to locate Keith. We hope he is alive. Seems like you aren't that concerned. You FIRED him. kick him while he's down. sleeping on the floor. the greasy floor. trying to get some sleep, so he can wake up at 9am and cook more chicken, for the good people of Manchester. So I beg you, Dave's Hot. Make this right. Bring Keith back into the coup. This is wrongful termination. Did you even give Keith severance? Food was delicious and I love how you can adjust the spice level. Fries are seasoned well and don't forget to add honey and of course the Dave's sauce on the slider. Pickles were thick and crunchy. The person that took my order (I believe their name was Brendan) was so kind, it was very clean inside, and the food was awesome. It did take a good amount of time for my food to be ready (to be fair it was a pretty big to go order) but I didn't mind at all because the food was piping hot and tasty! The star of the show was definitely the not chicken cauliflower bites. They were HUGE. I got medium spice and they were so delicious. I honestly found them just as satisfying as the chicken bites, maybe even more! First time at Dave's. We shared the sliders. Ordered medium spice. Chicken was freshly cooked served hot with slaw and pickles on an undersized bun, messy. Tasty, but extremely salty. Fries were also over seasoned with the same spice mixture. Too much of the same flavor for me. Chocolate shake was average. I noticed that all the orders were packaged as to go. Drinks should be included in the cost of the combo meals, paying $3.49 for a regular size drink is asking a lot, even if there are complimentary refills. The young woman working behind the counter was very polite, so no issues there. However, besides the small portions for the price, it took close to 20 minutes before the food was ready. Admittedly, the chicken sandwich/slider was good, but I don't feel like it was $47 good for my guests and I. Do away with the seperate costs for drinks, and it still may not be worth the money. Got the two slider "combo". Despite being $15 for two chicken finger sliders and fries, a fountain drink is not included. This is silly, the soda costs you nothing. Alot of people behind the counter but it seems really disorganized. The food itself was good, the slaw on the sliders was great. The chicken was crispy but by no means the best that I've had. Over Priced and Over Hyped. Also this is noone at this restraunts fault but the company logo and building were SO ugly. Asked for a medium Oreo shake, cashier asks me if I want the base ice cream to be vanilla or chocolate.
