My barber of 25 years (Wayne's Kings Men) retired and I was casting about for another provider who preferably accepted appointments. Turns out Dave knew Wayne and Walt, and has taken on many of the Kings Men clientele. So it was a sociable transition, which means a lot especially for elderly men. Dave gives a good businessman's cut for $25 and in 82 years I've never seen a barber be so conscientious about cleanliness and antisepsis. This is important, because barbers who clip nostril hairs with unsterilized scissors can transmit staph, and there may be other modes of contagion I don't know about. read more

I've been going here since he opened in this location and just went this week; he does a fantastic job and my wife is impressed which says a lot; He is sports minded and perfect for an old guy like myself(66)and a Ducks fan besides! The tv is usually turned to some sports(not much this Covid week, of course)and he has water/Gatorade,etc, to drink; he's very personable. Keep up the great work Dave. He has some great aftershave/cologne he puts on , too, although often I'm heading to the gym and don't want to smell too "poofy" in the gym. He also does sideburns, eyebrows, and your neck very well. Dave does an AMAZING job with my son since he was 3 years old cutting his hair, he has a fun car for kids sit in, reasonable prices, walk ins. Dave has been my barber for about 2 years. I met Dave at American Classic Barbershop before he opened Dave's Place. I just found him again today since his split from American Classic. Dave is a very solid barber and I have always been really happy with the way he cuts and fades my hair, which he does for me about every two weeks. He also has Saturday service, which I appreciate. I know everybody is particular about who cuts their hair, but if you are looking for a new barber Dave is definately worth checking out. read more
