After finishing he threw the supplies down and walked out silently. Shortly after the Dental assistant came back to inform me that the doctor would be in shortly only for me to tell her he had just finished ripping my tooth out. She looked completely shocked which showed me he not only did the procedure without the proper numbing medicine, without notifying fellow staff, and without any regard for my welling being or safety as a patient. I had to ask the dental assistant to get pain medication prescribed to me for the amount of pain I was in due caused by this "Doctor." He should not be allowed to preform procedures or practice any form of medicine if he is going to treat his patients as if they are a burden to his life! My welling being and health is something I do not play about at all and this is an experience I hope I can save the next person from!! If I could leave no stars I absolutely would this office should be investigated! They will not do anything about it cause he is a "Owner Doctor" but the fact he is still doing this to people with only conversations as a consequence is ABSURD

I went in for a consultation as a new patient for a…read morecracked molar on a Monday and had no clue who i would see bc they were working me in following the Easter holiday. He did not introduce himself and immediately upon seeing my X-rays said my tooth had to come out! He stated I would need an implant to follow in 3 months . He seemed to have a slight arrogance and unprofessional attitude towards my questions. I wasn't sure I wanted to have my tooth pulled but he assured me, my tooth was dying and needed to come out now! It was already painful so I agreed. The technician assisting , chatted casually with him about a dream she had of him the night before, which was unprofessional. Upon learning my tooth needed to come out, he failed miserably at explaining his approach. He also failed at many attempts, due to lack of knowledge or concern to deaden my tooth. His inability to do so caused me extreme discomfort and pain! I counted at least 10 or more, deep and painful injections with no relief. He was extremely rough and didn't give any warning of what was happening before or during his botched attempt to remove my tooth. I truly felt powerless and at his mercy!! The pain was absolutely too much to take, and I eventually begged him to please, stop! He didn't. I cried asking if there was another way or option to get the tooth out? He never responded to me! He continued to ignore me and my reactions to the pain I was clearly experiencing in front of them both but never spoke a word to me!! My appt was at 7:30 am and was there for over 3 hours! Ive never felt more helpless in my life! Todd Hegmann gave absolutely no warning for what he was about to do to me and that's why I'm writing this review! A warning to you! No one should have to suffer at the hands of this incompetent man. He administered so many numbing injections, that my entire face, nose, forehead and both eyes drooped. Yet, he failed to properly deaden the root of my tooth, but proceeded to drill , in spite of me saying , I feel pain! I would not take my dog to this man!! Once the tooth was finally out, he said he called in an antibiotic and pain medication to my pharmacy. I only received the antibiotic. Nothing for pain. I had to experience yet even more debilitating pain for the next 24hours until the pharmacy finally received the prescription for pain medication to following evening. He failed all the way around! A dentist who "hums happily" while you are being ignored and experiencing unreal amount of pain, begging him to please stop, that is incapable of validating his patients requests, concerns or pain has a very dark spirit should not be allowed to do complex procedures or dentistry at all !! He has no compassion! He doesn't listen! He doesn't care. He may be from Texarkana but he has no connection to human kindness or feeling of local pride in treating your hometown people that may trust you, or know your family, and for God sakes, your associates that work along side him. DO NOT USE HIM! Don't believe the favorable reviews likely written by his staff.. there is NO WAY this man isn't mistreating countless others.

Periodontal charting to diagnose gum disease. And something new that I've never seen before...an intraoral camera photographing my entire mouth and producing color photos/videos that are amazing. Non-invasive, better oral care, and convenient diagnosis - isn't that what you've always looked for in your dental check-up? The people were all friendly and informative, from check-in, through X-rays, hygienist exam, dentist exam, and accounting. I said accounting because, once again, this is something new to me. They provided me a detailed cost analysis of everything needing to be accomplished for my oral health. It showed the cost before insurance and after insurance for each procedure, and I knew exactly what I would be required to pay upfront. What a concept! Thanks to the entire team for providing the best dental visit of my life.

But after multiple frustrating experiences, I feel compelled to share my story. Back on February 18, I had a full-day appointment scheduled, took time off work, lost a day's pay only to arrive and be told their technician wasn't in. No call, no heads-up. The same receptionist who's always there could've notified me the day before or even that morning. She didn't. Fast forward to last Thursday, Oct 30, 2025: I stopped by to ask about a repair and warranty coverage. She said it was covered and to bring the item in at 8:00 a.m. Friday and it'd be ready by noon. I did exactly that. The technician confirmed after I asked that they'd remove the liner to do the repair. I called at 12:20 to check if it was ready, and the receptionist said yes. I left work and headed over. Then came the curveball: she called me en route, rudely stating I had a "12:00 appointment" and she was closing at 1:00. I was confused, there was never an appointment, just a pickup time. When I arrived, her attitude was dismissive. I reminded her that I paid premium for the item and deserved basic courtesy. Another clerk chimed in with "Sir, you need to just calm down." Calm down over what? No one told me they closed early on Fridays. She was in a Halloween costume, so maybe theatrics were part of the day. To be fair, the technician did a great job on the repair. But the front desk experience was consistently poor. I was offered another appointment next week, but I said I might not return. I prepaid for a seven-year package, so I may have no choice. As I left, the costumed clerk hollered "Have a nice day." I let it go. But I couldn't help noticing: in 2019, the parking lot was full. These days, it's mostly empty. That says something.
