Wasting my money and my time while being alone taking care of 3 young kids , getting a horrible attitudes from nancy and joanna for a whole year facing domestic violence and divorce case, my experience was a nightmare and when i got close to my final court they dropped my case and had me find another lawyer but i am glad they did . completely unhappy!!! i looked for an attorney with a great deal of experience. great Nancy had it! but when it came down to the way my case was represented im 100% unhappy. i needed legal representation for a custody case where my kids father was trying to get 100 custody. every time i came to meet her, she'd ask me to remind her about my case. my paperwork consisted of jotted notes in a tiny manila folder. no label? i worked for several law firms, never had i seen an attorney handle any case like this. they knew their clients!! i have also been represented by several lawyers and they knew the ins and outs of my case. when you seek legal representation, you want someone who's going to go to bat for you and know how to handle every pitch. if that's what you want, then keep looking! i won, on obvious grounds to the judge. i would have won without her. thank God i had legal insurance and didn't have to pay for the poor services i received. this is MY opinion on my experience. read more

Nancy was my daughter's 3rd lawyer. First lawyer had a conflict of interest so withdrew, second lawyer was fired within a week or two. We then interviewed 2 lawyers and very luckily hired no-nonsense Nancy. With her experience she was able to guide, coach, and support my daughter through this very painful process. Her ex was a contractor (able to hide income since he worked for cash), meth user, squatted in the family home for 6 months without paying any bills, etc. etc. while she and her 2 young children bounced around in temporary housing - motels and the last 2 months in an apartment. (We had son from ex-husband's first marriage to keep him out of foster care because son couldn't live with dad due to physical violence and we just didn't have room for everybody.) Nancy continually kept her focused and was very direct - what was realistic and what she had to let go. She wanted to go back to the stability of the family home with the kids and save the house since it was then in foreclosure, have custody of the kids and keep her teacher's retirement account. Yes, she gave up 'stuff,' but kept the important things of her life: the kids, her home and her retirement account. As much as my daughter hated shelling out spousal support for this abusive, drug abusing, dead beat dad, Nancy insisted on following the orders of the court. My daughter now has full legal and physical custody of her 2 young children. Throughout this 2 year ordeal Nancy was always available - even one Sunday afternoon for prepping, responsive, professional, and plain old decent person.
