I also go to his office about every three months for Botox or filler; very competent staff. I've tried other places for "injectables," but always come back to Dr. Ladner's office because I feel like the desired effects last longer. As far as irritating up-sells, I don't feel like I've ever gotten an up-sell for procedures or products either; Dr. Ladner "keeps it real." I also like the post-op attention/follow-up I get from his staff (phone calls checking on me, etc.). Getting something done has been new for me, and Dr. Ladner makes it comfortingly clear that after surgery I could call a member of his staff 24/7 if I had a post-op concern (I like that). For the procedures, I also like that he has his own personal full-fledged operating room AT his office dedicated for his use only. From the look of this it appears that this group is running a high end sell shop. Your reps make the sale or 'pitch' but have no expertise. Doctors then only choose the most renumerative cosmetic procedure. Certainly your hippocratic oath to do no harm or perhaps guide those in need is missing. Although the injector was being instructed by a senior physician, the injections were done incorrectly. Multiple times I very clearly communicated that I wanted lift in the eye brow area. I did not get lift. In fact, the way the injections were done, my eyes brows & lids were pushed downward. I still have the photos. I did speak to the clinic director who confirmed the way the botox was injected, would in fact push the forehead and eyes downward. My forehead was over filled which was very uncomfortable! My crows feet were under filled. I had to go to another physician for correction. No antidote for botox, so not much he could do to correct the problem. It took almost a year before I could get the look I was after. I complained to the office manager and had charges reversed on my credit card. I told her I didn't feel I should pay for the botox and they should reimburse me for the visits to the other doctor for correction. She told me, I would be turned over to collections and refused any adjustments to my credit card.
