I called to let them know I've tested positive for Covid and that I just had surgery a few days prior. The receptionist response was "well of course you did. You were at a hospital. What did you expect?" I was taken back I honestly didn't know how to respond. I do not recommend this doctor's office to anyone. The only good doctor there who seemed to care was Dr Mitchell MacCready who has recently left the practice.

He was one of my all time favorite physicians. I had to find a new doctor immediately and unfortunately there wasn't many to choose from that fit my needs in the Sutter community within the time frame I needed locally. I was offered to see Dr. Chowdhury in Manteca. I was hesitant at first because I had to make a drive a few cities over and I am a seizure patient. So on a bad day I would have to cancel appointments (so I thought). I was reminded she does video appointments. I am absolutely glad I accepted her as my new physician. Dr. Chowdhury is very compassionate, understanding and gets you the referrals you need for the medical care you need. Her demeanor makes you comfortable and at ease in her presence. Her doctor office staff is very friendly and the office itself is very intimate when you enter. It is in a location I do question and makes me a little nervous and that is why I do give 4 stars. It has nothing to do with the doctor or her staff.

Then, they never sent the referral to the pain doctor she personally recommended me to!!! Maybe she is OK if you sprain your ankle but if you have serious health issues and chronic pain like me find someone else. She Will trivialize your pain while patronizing you the whole time. The referral process took so long that, by the time I followed up, I called the office they referred me to and found out they had no idea who the doctor on my referral was. Nobody there recognized the name, so I was left trying to figure everything out on my own and had to schedule my own appointment. I then established care with a new primary care provider elsewhere, and they referred me to the correct GI department the very same day. Meanwhile, HealthyU still hasn't updated my referral, and I'm the one making calls and coordinating my own care. I need an infusion by August 4, yet there has been no sense of urgency or communication. Patients shouldn't have to do the office's job just to receive the care they need. On top of that, we had a scheduled appointment, arrived 20 minutes early, and still waited over an hour to be seen. The phone line takes an extremely long time to get through, making it difficult to get updates or speak with someone. To make matters worse, the woman at the front desk was rude and unhelpful.

Yeah, we will be looking for a new health provider 42 MINUTES LATER, I AM STILL ON HOLD, HOLDING AT # 9 FOR 8 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say, she is a awesome Dr…read more It all started 7 years ago, we had just moved to Manteca from the bay and my son in kindergarten fell and needed to be seen by a doctor. Called a few friends and they all suggested Dr Kailey. Her manner with the children and interaction with them is the best. She gives them little nicknames and you can truly tell she loves her job. She listens and discusses your concerns and answers any questions. The office has followed up with us days later when the boys have been real sick to see if we need to be seen again. As we have added more children to our family there has never been a doubt as to who their Dr will be. The office staff is always great and helpful, wait time is generally 5-10 minutes. Waiting area is always clean and smells clean. They have been real good about getting in on same day appts when needed. The only issue I have and this is just my own preference, is that I wish they had a separate area for sick children and non sick. Nothing worse than bringing you well child in for a well check and being around sick kids or vice verses.
