I am 70 years old and Dr. Lichtinger is the best doctor I have ever had, period. The fact that he listens and looks at you when you try to explain symptoms is special. He has prescribed some new medications that have helped me with lifelong conditions. I wish I had found him 50 years ago. Jennifer is equally wonderful. I guess they discuss patients because there is never misunderstanding when seeing one or the other. Best of all the office personnel is the best. Their processes and procedures have been developed to make things easy for the patient not the staff. I love them all. read more

I am a 78 year old widow and I had Dr. Lichtinger as my Primary Physician for almost five years and he just released me as a patient for no valid reason!! All these years I thought we had a great rapport and I always praised him highly to others. You are expected to contact his office BEFORE you go to an Urgent Care facility or a Hospital /and or Emergency Room. Twice, I have had adhere to this absurd rule! Both times I phoned his office and advised them of the situation. Both times were to go to a hospital that he does not practice at. One was to have surgery for a severe dog bite and last week was for a 911 call to take me to the emergency room because of a severe bacterial infection that I had been suffering with for 7 weeks. I could not breathe and needed oxygen. A CT scan of my lungs showed a large mass on my left lung! I have always been the perfect patient and never cancelled or missed any appointments! I was released from the hospital at 8:30 P.M on a Friday night and his letter releasing me was dated on Monday. It was delivered to me by USPS, certified with signature requested! I am still in shock that he would do this to me! Now, I have prescriptions that he will not refill and I am sure I will be in a long search for a new primary care doctor! What kind of human being, much less a physician, could to this? read more

This office is extremely unprofessional. The Dr is arrogant, rude, and is more interested in his opinion than listening to the patient who is paying for his services. Three years of this poor quality medical service is enough for me. Maybe when they have to start looking for jobs, they will treat patients better. However, if you're the type to be silent and just take pills, by all means see this quack. Why I tolerated this incompetent man is beyond me. Never again! read more

Dr Lichtinger has been a great doctor for me. I started going to him after my PCP retired a few years back. Dr Lichtinger ask questions and listens to my concern. He is up to date on the new protocols for medications. ie I take a medication that requires 1 a week injection. I ask the doctor about doing a split regimen siding case studies that show the more even blood level. He agreed it was good to go. I now feel better with the steadier levels. I have never felt him being arrogant or dismissive, but I do have medical case studies on things I want to change or try. If he is not familiar with them he researches them and gets back with me on his thoughts of it being a good ideal or why it might not be. He is a great Doctor. read more

I must admit that I can be critical of different professions. I REALLY like my last Doctor but now I have moved out of state to Florida. Dr. Lichtinger was highly recommended to me so I thought that I would try him, especially since he was a DO. I was blown away by him. His diagnostic skills, his care and friendly demeanor, his thoroughness, his attention to detail are all excellent! Wow! And I thought that my former Doctor was great. Started going to this office in April 2018. I don't go to the doctor's office often but when I did go, service was pretty good. Then I came down with a condition that his PA misdiagnosed. I've been trying to get my pain med prescription filled since last week. I called 3 times on Thursday and was told around 5:00 that it was finally being taken care of. Friday I called the pharmacy for an update and was told it was on hold waiting for a preauthorization from the doc office. I called them only to find out they closed at noon so I had to go all weekend with my pain medication. Now it's Monday, I called the doc office again and got some excuse so I hung up on the clerk. Checked the pharmacy for an update and it looks like its been cancelled. Time to find a new PC. I can't have his peanut gallery throwing in their two cents especially when she wasn't in the exam room. Just doesn't seem like they are completely patient focused. Their focus is on the patients who are right in front of them not the ones who have already left. I know a lot of people really like going there and up until this time I did too but I can't put my healthcare in the hands of an office that relies on excuses.
