Many patients had established relationships with their doctors for years, only to find themselves scrambling to locate new providers and navigate insurance confusion during an already stressful transition. What makes this even more frustrating is that public statements during the sale process suggested patients would continue to have access to their insurance coverage under the new ownership structure. Yet many patients later experienced uncertainty or loss of access depending on their plan participation and contract negotiations. The bankruptcy itself was tied to massive Medicare billing discrepancies reportedly totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Unfortunately, it feels like the people who paid the price were the patients -- particularly seniors and veterans who depended on stable healthcare access. Healthcare organizations should prioritize patient care and loyalty during transitions, not leave vulnerable populations feeling discarded. This has created an issue where the skin on my second toe has developed irritation and skin coming off the second digit and scabbing over. This has been continuing for several months but cannot get someone to answer the phone in order to make an appointment. SO; at this stage, I have made an appointment with one of their competitors.

The results came back and she sat with me and personally called the Head of Oncology on HER cell phone and got me an appt the same week. The staff is kind and cooperative. Well we are way past that "time" and my husband is no better, actually worse. His original ailment has not improved but instead worse. We don't know how this Dr is still in practice after googling him. His rate of complications are way above other surgeons. There has been many newspaper articles regarding this. Two patients died soon after surgery. He also stabbed someone citing self defense and untruthfully answered questions from the medical board. Use caution and research before using this Doctor. After legal advice, we will be filing a complaint with the Florida State Medical Board. Our review for him is ZERO stars.
