Well long and behold, the big toe is drifting again to the left and has not remained straight. This has created an issue where the skin on my second toe has developed irritation and skin coming off the second digit and scabbing over. This has been continuing for several months but cannot get someone to answer the phone in order to make an appointment. SO; at this stage, I have made an appointment with one of their competitors.

After being assured by the office that my Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan would cover the visit, I received a bill of $105.00 for the visit! I am 77 years old and have never been treated so poorly . If there were an option for zero stars, I would give it. I have never given a poor rating to any health care professional because I am a retired certified registered nurse anesthetist from the University of Michigan and know doctors are sometimes given an unfair judgement. .Seek another physician elsewhere. I would not trust his judgement on a more "complicated patient".

I have been trying to get an appointment for my 90 year old father. Originally, we had an…read moreappointment scheduled with one doctor, then, they called and changed the appointment to a different doctor, date and time. Then, they called last Friday to say the doctor they changed the appointment to, does not provide the service my father needs. Now, my father has an emergent need to be seen and the person I spoke to was beyond rude, wouldn't let me schedule the emergent appointment without a copy of my father's healthcare POA first. If that's the case, how did anyone allow me to book the original appointment? It takes a lot for me to go to the trouble of writing a review. We will gladly go elsewhere.

They got me in at 1:45. The staff were all friendly and nice. I liked the doctor very much as well. He was thorough and helpful. Knocking off a star because there is a 3% fee for credit cards, which sure, many restaurants charge, and they DID tell me this when I made the appointment so I was prepared to pay via check. However, I have a HSA (Health Savings Account) which I would have had to pay extra out if because of this silly fee. Seems extreme for a physician to charge that in my opinion.

Dr Zimmerman and his staff spent a long time talking to us ,giving us suggestions and treating the problem. He recommended better different shoes. Within a week his feet improved a great deal. His nurses and staff are very caring,and knowledgeable. The whole staff is very professional,caring, helpful,knowledgeable. I am extremely grateful to Dr Zimmerman and his office.
