I went to Dr . Stirling, DMV after moving to The Villages from Michigan. After waiting 1.5 hours…read moreto see Dr. Stirling, his comment for the excessive wait time was there was a "complicated patient". His attitude was arrogant and condescending . After being assured by the office that my Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan would cover the visit, I received a bill of $105.00 for the visit! I am 77 years old and have never been treated so poorly . If there were an option for zero stars, I would give it. I have never given a poor rating to any health care professional because I am a retired certified registered nurse anesthetist from the University of Michigan and know doctors are sometimes given an unfair judgement. .Seek another physician elsewhere. I would not trust his judgement on a more "complicated patient".

Waste of my entire morning since you do not value your clients time, making them wait over an hour past their appointment time.

Went for an appointment to Florida Musculoskeletal Institution ( FMI) I am handicapped,…read more crippled and have to use a walker. I first encountered the sidewalk lined with rocking chairs, similar to what Cracker Barrel restaurant do. It was very difficult to go down the sidewalk using a walker with rocking chairs taking up more than half of the sidewalk space. Next, I encountered the entrance door which unlike most doctors offices in this area do not have the automatic door opening control. For those that with difficult walking and need walking aids, this can be a problem. It is an older building and the doorway is narrow and it was difficult getting the walker through the door. Not long after I got in, I saw a man on crutches having the similar problem. This business shares a lobby with a chiropractor office. The lobby was full of chairs and benches designed for people who do not have to maneuver a walker. This business is NOT handicapped friendly. Members of the staff and nursing staff I encountered were cold and robotic. I did not see anyone smile or say hello. After waiting 20 minutes to see the doctor, I saw him less than five and his conclusion for my issue was , quoto, You need learn to live with the pain and see a pain management specialist, This was a first for me and never had a doctor told me to live with the pain I will not go back to this business or doctor and highly recommend no one else does either, especially if you're handicapped.
