I figured it wouldn't hurt to screen him to see if he would be someone I could possibly represent my old bankruptcy lawyer with . All I have to say this gentleman needs a lesson in professionalism. What a peace of work Mr Holt is. I'm so so glad he showed his true colors. He told me I should shut my mouth and stop complaining and that my current lawyer probably and my old lawyer probably wishes I do fire him so he doesn't have to deal with me. He then trashed MetLife my issuance plan and bragged about all experience as a lawyer. Here's some advice buddy take a class about etiquette. I've never written a bad comment about anyone. I wouldn't hire this guy if he's the last bankruptcy lawyer in San Diego. Take my advice do yourself a favor. click on someone who care about you and not your wallet. I sent them supporting documentation for months but the IRS refused to respond or acknowledge that the documents were ever received while I continued to get letters stating I now owed interest along with the original principal amount so I contacted Bill to help with this issue. He was able to get it resolved in a few months after showing proof that I did qualify for an exemption and filed an amended tax return. Today I owe the IRS absolutely nothing! This office is very professional and very responsive and I would highly recommend. (I also recommend not doing your own taxes once you become a home/ business lawyer.)

All in all he did not get the corp dissolved as promised and today called me to say he is retiring this 9th of Feb 2025. Hee got paid double his proposal and did not complete the task. Many lies along the way and as of last week he told me there was only one more task to complete but he bailed. I am long distance so maybe he is better when someone is on his doorstep.

Tried to work with Chris Cooke through a legal claim covered by ARAG. At first he was confident…read morethat he could help and asked for my claim number right off the bat. I asked simple questions regarding my claim benefit and his charges (so I understood the process and estimated charges) and he would not answer the questions only saying "the ARAG claim will cover the services". I asked for an explanation once again and he ghosted me for weeks. When I followed up asking for answers to my questions, Chris asked me to provide the claim number once again. I then asked if he saw my questions in the email. Chris Responded "I am unable to help you". I then called Chris to try to talk through it with him. He refused to say anything but repeated "I am unable to help you". He then abruptly hung up the phone. It's very odd that someone is confident they can help you until you ask about the billing process and all of a sudden they are "Unable to help". It seemed more like he was "unwilling" to help rather than "unable". I suspect he planned to do the minimum and charge the maximum. Perhaps my line of questions prevented that from happening. Do yourself a favor and find a kind professional willing to provide services at a fair and transparent price. This guy will just hang up on you. :(
