When I confirmed with my insurance they stated it was not accurate and also showed me three procedure codes that were misquoted, they were quoted way higher. They also tried to charge me a crown lab fee of $550 and per my insurance they are not allowed to charge more than $100 lab fee. She obviously did not like being corrected and said it was the benefits team that uploaded the benefits wrong and stated she didn't appreciate me being disrespectful and hung up on me. But it's OK to misquote me, take my $500 and then when I call you to tell you that your treatment plan is wrong. I'm being disrespectful.. I don't know how you can be a manager and be so horrible at taking feedback and corrections. Typically it's the persons job at the desk to verify the insurance and cost benefit. In her office, there is a team that does it and that is fine. However, the feedback and information are going to come back to the manager, and the manager should be receptive to the feedback.

It's been a few years since I have been in a Dental Office, I know what your thinking.... its ok! Walking in, I was greeted very warmly as I walked into the main waiting room. The staff were very nice and the front area was very clean and inviting! I have been to this location twice, having being seen early both times. They were very efficient in processing my paperwork and insurance information. My initial check up/x-rays was quick and easy! I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I spoke with both Dr. Alvarez and his assistant. Both were very accommodating and detailed. My second visit was for my cleaning. Can I just say that I have been to many offices and have had my teeth cleaned many times. This was without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had. He slammed the crown with a post in at an angle. Before I left the office I let them know the pain I was now in. They said he did this on purpose. Well this didn't keep the crown in because the pain I was in was because he cracked my root when he put it in with force at an angle.. Now my tooth and crown were destroyed. The tooth/root had to be removed. When now needing an implant while shopping around, his price was very high and not willing to accept any blame or lower his high price for an implant. I wasn't aware by not doing this right away would cause so much bone loss. I was never informed. Also, I paid for a partial bridge through him. From day one I had open sores, blisers/pain from this partial ordered through him. On the 4th visit to him with open sores from this partial ordered through his office I got told "I'm getting tired of this, this is your 4th visit for the same thing". This guy does not give a crap about you, only your money. Save it and go where they actually care. This practice caused me a lot more money and wasted money and thats not how it should be. PS It should be known that after I lost the front tooth due to his jamming the post/crown in crooked, I asked about a discount to get an implant and was denied any implant discount even though I would not have needed one if he hadn't forced my crown/post in sideways which ultimately cracked my root.

The records I eventually received appeared incomplete and were missing documentation of IPR that was performed during treatment. I decided to stop treatment and requested all of my records on April 11, 2026. As of May 13, 2026, I still have not received everything. The office offered me $813 after I sign a release of liability, but they still have not provided a clear breakdown explaining how my refund was calculated. Very disappointing experience overall.

Long story short, I had to have a procedure done that required pain deadening. I can honestly tell all that everyone in this office was very friendly and professional. I then met Dr.Soares who realized my apparent nervous state who then very plainly said he was going to get rid of my pain and I should be all done very shortly... Which was exactly what happened. I've always hated the line that most Dentists say... "You may feel a slight prick' before they jab you with the first needle. Dr.Soares never said anything about needles or feeling any pain. I did see some negative reviews, mainly regarding customer service, but I can personally say that my experience has been absolutely phenomenal from day one. She went above and beyond to keep me calm, comfortable, and informed, which made a huge difference for someone who genuinely dreads dental work. Dr. Babak Robert Etemad performed my tooth extraction and did an outstanding job. He made the entire procedure as comfortable and stress-free as possible, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The facility is extremely clean, organized, and efficient. Do not go to this doctors office!! They will try to charge you additional fees that aren't included…read morein your insurance. I visited the office in October 2018 for a Cleaning. They said that they would not be able to do a regular cleaning and I would need a deep cleaning for $150. They refused to do my Regular cleaning which is included. I did not want to pay an additional $150 but decided to due it anyway because of the sales pressure from the staff. I had no cavities... I had a follow up visit on January 29, 2019. They did my regular cleaning. They advised me that I have extra build up and should come every 3 months for a regular cleaning to help with the build up. But once again, I have no cavities. I told them my insurance only covers 2 cleanings a year which is what I will be doing. She said okay no problem. I called yesterday to set up an appointment for my 6 month cleaning & the receptionist said she read the notes and I will need to come in every 3 months for a cleaning. I explained that for 30 years, I have been doing regular cleanings every 6 months with no issues. She said she didn't care what I have done in the past, it was a requirement from their office. I told her I wanted to schedule a regular cleaning (which my insurance pays for.) She said she would make the appointment but the depending on what the Dental Hygienist said, they might require a deep cleaning (additional $150.) I told her I didn't want that. She said "well if that's what they recommend, that's what we will do. We will not give you a regular cleaning" Here is a picture of my teeth!! I brush 2 times a day at least and floss a few times a week. This dentist office refused to give me my regular cleaning & insist I !!! This office is a scam!!
