Here's what went wrong: Every Christmas gone - Without my clear understanding, she agreed to give my ex every single Christmas with our children. I was never made fully aware of this before signing. No loving parent would knowingly agree to that. Minimal parenting time - She accepted a bare-minimum schedule (alternating weekends + one midweek overnight) without pushing for more equal time, despite no safety or logistical concerns. No enforcement protections - My agreement had no automatic make-up time or penalties if my ex denied visits, which has happened repeatedly. The court has given me little or nothing back each time. Weak joint custody safeguards - Years later, my ex signed both kids up for college and co-signed a student loan without telling me. They somehow do this without a conscience or care while the client is in crisis.
