The two met at medical conferences and are good friends. I was having trouble finding a good local physician. How ironic that I found my local PCP+ (definitely PCP PLUS) through my out-of-state specialist! I can't say enough good things about Dr Forbes and his staff. He once sat and listened to me cry -- pouring my guts out -- while handing me tissues. He never once rushed me or pushed me out of the office. THAT is unheard of, but that's how he is. His entire staff is kind and understanding, and very gentle in dealing with sensitive patients like me. He listens to me, understanding that I know my own body. He doesn't force me on or off medication when I have grave concerns about it. I firmly believe in the holistic, integrated approach. It makes complete sense! We were so excited last month to find out that he had a private practice and we signed John up for it right away even though his office is an hour from us. Dr. Inman has already spent 3 hours with him in person, researched medical equipment and pharmacies for us, called in an emergency prescription on a Saturday (within 20 minutes of when we texted him) and set up a specialist appointment.
