Most recently, I had my six-month cleaning this past week, and I had a less than five minute wait even with showing up a little early. I liked that they questioned me about my COVID history (any symptoms, any contact with COVID positive people) and also took my temperature. It makes me feel safe to know that they are doing that for all of their patients. My dental hygienist, Brent, was amazing! He was extremely nice and funny, and was very easy to talk to. He explained every single thing he was doing, which I really appreciate as a patient. He was also gentle while cleaning my teeth which is for sure a plus. It was also nice that he complimented how clean my teeth already were, LOL :) Dr. Redhead was also very kind and easy to talk to, and made sure to ask if there were any dental issues I wanted her to look at. All in all, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes since they were so prompt and efficient throughout the appointment. I would highly recommend Theriot Family Dental Care!

Appointments frequently ran behind schedule for nearly all of my appointments and there was little communication about delays, which made the experience frustrating. I was also concerned about professionalism. Treatment recommendations seemed inconsistent, and I left feeling unsure and not fully confident in the guidance provided. Billing was another issue. Fees were not clearly explained, and costs did not feel transparent. I was told my out of pocket portion and then was later billed for a far more expensive fee. I do understand insurances do not always pay what they say but this was not a discussion whatsoever. Overall, the experience felt more focused on charges than patient care. I hope the office can improve organization, communication, and overall professionalism.

I wish I could recall who I talked to, back in August, but she was kind and understanding when I broke down crying trying to make the much needed appointment. My visits with Dr Harmon have been great. I won't say 100% pain free, but all of my serious procedures have been 100% pain free. My 2 deep cleanings, bone grafting and checkup were all pain free. It's also a tolerable pain, more of a lil pinchy pinch. The sadness of going to the periodontist is that I won't see them forever. But that's the point. They've helped me progress to heathy gums and send me off to be cared for by the dentist.

Every service they suggested and said isn't covered. My insurance says is covered. The insurance agent spoke to Heather and had to tell her what to sumbit to get it included. After speaking back to the agent he suggested I go to a different dentist and recommend me another dentist. I will never go back to Denham Springs Dental Care. Nor will I suggest my loved ones go there.

I thought I would have to get an extraction, but they were able to set me up with a plan to save the tooth. My second appointment started promptly when scheduled and everyone that was involved knew exactly what they were doing. Easily the best dental experience I've ever had.
