Dr Gideon was my peds Dr. She's the only primary I've ever saw until now…read more I actually do like her a lot. She's a very gentle, respectful, sweet, kind and compassionate women. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, it's totally normal. However, not being thorough enough almost killed me. I was misdiagnosed with depression when I was 16/17. I slept all the time. That was my only sign or symptoms. I got a sleep study done and that was it. No bloodwork whatsoever. I was sleeping so much because I have diabetes. I've been unmediated since 16/17 (I am 23) My a1c is 11.5. But my blood sugar isn't dangerously elevated. That tells my current primary care physician that my a1c has been gradually increasing for a very very very long time. If I had an a1c bloodwork test when I was younger, my diabetes most likely would have been caught. I am not depressed. This is my first time in 9 years that I haven't been on an anti depressant. I am not depressed. They were making me mentally worse. I am on a non stim add medication instead. So much better. Go somewhere else. Beebe sucks in general. Access to quality healthcare for poor people in this area is a problem. A private health insurance problem. A gentrification problem.

They treat you like garbage, are rude, talk down, dismissive and downright rude to me. They display so many unprofessional behaviors. Also, I do feel the quality of the providers has gone down over the years and all I can think is they are too busy. Wait times, even for routine well checks, have really started stretching out. Dr. Gideon is our provider and she has seemed distracted lately, until I threatened to leave the practice. It's too bad because we used to love it here and our kids are attached. Lately, the way the receptionists speak to me is inexcusable. I'm here every week for gods sakes, the least you can do is be kind.

I have been extremely disappointed with Gateway Pediatrics after bringing both of my children there…read morefor the past 4 years. While the pediatricians themselves are kind, caring, and knowledgeable, the administrative side of this office has been a constant source of frustration. Every single appointment, we have waited 30+ minutes in the exam room before the doctor comes in. I understand that emergencies happen, but this has become a consistent pattern over the years and shows a lack of respect for families' time. Parents are also trying to balance work, school, and other responsibilities, and spending extended periods waiting every visit is unacceptable. The administration staff, specifically one female employee, has repeatedly been unprofessional and has an unpleasant attitude when interacting with families. A welcoming and respectful front office is a very important part of a child's healthcare experience, and unfortunately that has been lacking. Another major issue is the extremely slow turnaround time for paperwork. We recently waited nearly 2 months to receive paperwork that was needed, which is completely unacceptable and creates unnecessary stress for parents. The only positives are that the pediatricians are great and the office offers extended hours for evening appointments, which is convenient. However, those benefits do not outweigh the ongoing issues with organization, communication, wait times, and administration. After 4 years of being patients, I can honestly say I would not recommend this office to other families. Children deserve excellent medical care, but families also deserve an office that values their time, communicates effectively, and treats them with respect.

They did not bill for any services for the last year UNTIL THIS PAST MONTH... and it was when they billed that they finally let me know they were out of network... now that my child has had 4 appointments (totalling almost $1000). All appointments were billed at one time... one appointment 8 months AFTER SERVICE. WORST BILLING PRACTICES EVER.

I came to the hospital 8 cm dilated and have extreme my painful contractions. dr Dapper assured me I was doing great calmed me and comforted me all while doing her job efficiently. She wasn't the slightest bit nervous, she told me the truth the whole time and talked me through getting prep of getting ready to get an epidural. I wanted one so bad. Well baby girl was in a rush to meet us, she was born within an hour of my arrival and I couldn't not get the epidural because I was actively pushing once the checked my cervix. I was so terrified I knew I was holding baby girl in and not pushing at all. I was screaming and crying probably traumatizing other patients. the fear running through my mind and the pain I was in I couldn't think and barely move. Dr dapper told me to do what I felt was right. so I did. In comes Nurse Cheryl to my rescue. She was talking to me calmly reassuring me I was doing great and there is nothing to be scared of. In between contractions she would squeeze my hips and wipe my face with a cool wet cloth. She made sure I was as comfortable as I could be in the situation. Cherly literally felt like and angel beside me helping me do what I thought I never could. God bless both Dr. dapper and Nurse Cheryl When I say they went above and beyond they did that. Honestly I wouldn't have been able to have bay girl if I didn't have these two by my side. I forgot to mention I came alone to the hospital as dad was with our other kids. I will forever be greatful for these two ladies !
