The staff also follows the same unorganized system. When he asked me to come for a meeting for my dad's taxes because he did not get all the paperwork Steve kept stating " how he was doing us a favor ". I asked for what my dad did bring and what was missing he was not able to provide that or find the paperwork that my father did bring in. During the meeting another client kept calling and he was not talking kind about her and stated "he did her taxes but she was not happy she owed and he did her a favor, but might not due her taxes" he also complained about all the work. After the meeting I uploaded all the paperwork on their link. I tried following up for my dad and made an appointment on a Friday via phone. I asked several times if they are open. Polly his receptionist said yes. A month goes by and the appointment was came up. I went to the office and they are not open. Polly sent a message by email saying she was cancelling the appointment. I don't typically check emails very often and did not see it. I left a message and Steve called back and was very rude. Kept stating how he was doing us a favor and that she emailed and that it was fine. I told him that's not how I made the appointment and I made it via phone call. He never followed up with us about our taxes and never gave us the taxes back. We paid him for a service and he was very unprofessional. Needless to say we are never going back. After that I reached out to our financial advisor and asked for another recommendations. Please save yourself the trouble! Now we have to make sure he did our taxes or did not purposely mess up because we got a check back from the IRS and now I think he did something shady. Also wanted to point out he has a San Ramon as his office here on yelp and on google it says he's in Dublin. Yelp still says San Ramon! I find this sketchy. If you wanna CPA that keeps telling you that he's doing you a favor while you're paying for a service this is the guy for you !

Mr. Saso had worked as a 730 expert CPA for my divorce case since 2019 until he retired on 10/31/23…read morein his San Ramon office. He is still working as advisor, counseling at Calwell Sutter Capital in Sausalito. My ex-husband and I had paid him over $120,000 for his fee for that period. He made so many errors in his calculations for my reimbursement. I requested him to correct his errors so many times, but he insisted. The financial damage he caused me is over $100,000. In 2021, he promised not to bill me for my ex's disputed. He refused to work for me, ignored my input when he worked on my ex's disputed. He made me paid my ex' over $10,000 more for the dispute issue. And then when my ex did not pay him in full amount for his fee as they promised, Mr. Saso turned around to bill me for the dispute's fee. I requested him to keep his promised, but he did not. In June 2023, I talked to him, tried to set up a meeting to show him his errors, he refused to talk to me and hung up his phone on me. I am glad that Mr. Saso is semi-retired now. I hope that he can close his eyes when he sleeps and not thinking about the damage that he caused to me. Summer
