The journey to find Dr. Yang sounds like it's fiction but believe me it's nonfiction I went on a cruise and signed up for a free seminar on back pain. The guy on the cruise a.k.a. a scam artist, told me that I had flat feet and if I bought $800 arches ALL the troubles in my life would go away. Well, he was clearly a con artist so I decided to talk to my chiropractor, and ask him what was up with these so-called arches for my so-called flat feet. My Chiro told me to go see a podiatrist because maybe my insurance would cover orthotics. So I set up on a journey to find a podiatrist The first Podiatrist office i called, the lady that answered was so rude to me, she didn't even give me the time of day. She brushed me off and told me to call my insurance before I contact her because the orthotics would probably cost me hundreds of dollars. She was not helpful so I said onto the next office! I called Dr. Yang's office, and the lady who answered the phone, I wish I knew her name but I don't unfortunately, and I have been lucky to have interacted with her many times to this day, is such a vibe. I really like her a lot. She's such a baddie, I wish she was my mentor in life. Anyways, she set up an appointment for me easy Peezy lemon squeezy and the next thing I knew I was seeing Dr. Yang. Dr. yang was cool af. I literally have never seen a podiatrist before, and he spent a lot of time with me talking about my feet. He reassured me that I did not have flat feet and I indeed had arches. I asked him a zillion questions, and he had a very good personality and was not at all toxic. A true gentleman. He laughed at all the crazy things I said, and told me all the options I can do for my feet. He took a mold, or a cast, as they say of my feet, and made custom orthotics for me. Two weeks later, my orthotics arrive, and I come in to have them fitted. Dr. Yang, also a total baddie, set my orthotics in my shoes for me, and told me in two weeks Let him know how it's going. What a thoughtful doc. After that, he said if I wanted to get a second pair to let him know, that's when I started talking to the lady aka the receptionist about my insurance. Again, she's so strong will and so tough. I really admire her boss gurl demeanor. Totally recommend this podiatrist office if you were looking for one! read more

Dr.Yang is a very welcoming, caring Dr. He not only took care of an infected,ingrown toenail, he examined both of my feet and checked for other potential ailments. Dr. Yang is easy to talk to and easy to give advice and solutions. He knows feet! His office staff is very accommodating and friendly. Fantastic amount of knowledge. He showed me how I could fix the two problems I have with my foot. The previous Podiatrist were just trying to sell me some lotions and they gave me a pedicure. I have seen Dr. Yang twice in the past year and comparing to the other physicians in Irvine, Dr. Yang is the best. He is very patient and thorough. He has all the gigs available in his office and everything was done there. He also gave me very detailed instructions on how to prevent the same injury or damage from happening again. I really appreciate everything he did to make sure I have a pair of healthy and pain free feet. If there is anything that can make his service better, that would be some sort of visit record in writing, such as an After Visit Summary or something. I recommend this doctor to anybody who needs a podiatrist. read more

Dr Yang is very patient and take good care of my elderly mom. Office visits experienced are always present.

Dr Yang was very untransparent about his pricing, claiming that he didn't know how much a standard office visit would cost (its $200 before insurance btw). I came in for foot pain and after poking around and asking me to walk back and forth, he decided that the only course of action for me was to buy $300 insoles that he conveniently also sells. If you're looking for a podiatrist, I'd recommend saving yourself the time and money and just go somewhere else. read more

Dr. Yang operated an unnecessary surgery on my foot to remove a Ganglion cyst , which could have been done by a simple injection in the office. Either he did not understand how to treat this common foot problem or he just wanted make more money from the operation. I would never go back to him again. Avoid this doctor. Be warned! read more

Dr. Yang is the best podiatrist I've ever had. I've had foot problems ever since I was really young. He has been treating my feet for 10+ years. I have never had a problem with him. I play tennis, so I always get calluses on the bottom of my feet. He trims and shaves them smoothly. read more

I went to see him for what I thought was a wart on the bottom of one of my feet. He froze it in office and told me to come back. This happened 7 times and I was still in severe pain and could hardly walk. I kept telling him this and he insisted on the same treatment. Finally after the 7th visit I went to see another foot doctor and he discovered I had a splinter buried deep in my foot. He took it out and I finally got relief. When I got the bill, I tried talking to them about this and offered to pay half due to the misdiagnosis and treatment. He hung up on me and sent me to collections. read more

I went to see Dr. David Yang for a cyst like on the side of my right foot. i also had a skin tiusse calcus on the bottom of my right foot. First of all his front desk doesnt speak well English and make communication very difficult. But that is all ok. The office is all about money. He comes in and hardly looks at my calus and trims is up and as for the cyst like anamoli says its the end of the day and we have turned off our X-ray machine can we have you come back. Just like that. I was beyond aggravated. Thanks to Yelp i can share this with you guys. Later on I recieved a statement for a two min of his conversation for 150.00.
