I had booked an appointment and was pleased that my entire wedding party was able to attend. They did limit the amount of dressing rooms and allowed five people to use two rooms. Our sales attendant was nice, but a bit timid and see seemed like she was very new at the job. Thankfully the manager stepped in, and she was amazing! The manager was able to pull dresses that fit everyone and made everyone feel included in the processes of finding bridesmaids dresses. read more

My sister has never felt so unwanted in a store in her entire life. She went into this store looking for a dress for our sister's wedding and was assigned a designated attendant who helped every other person besides her. At multiple times throughout the visit in the store she had to find someone else to help her. While she was looking in the mirror they erased her name on the room she was using and put somebody else's clothes and name on the door...while her things were still in there! I can't remember her assigned attendants name but she was a shorter white lady, with shoulder length brown hair, and she wore glasses. My sister is getting married next year and was planning to use this David's Bridal to buy her dress but now I know we'll never be back there again to spend money in a place where our money doesn't seem to be as valuable as other people's. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING AT DAVID'S BRIDAL! We went into David's Bridal to purchase a wedding gown for my daughter's upcoming wedding. She found the one she wanted and we asked about them closing because one of the girls that helped one of the bridesmaids told her they were closing. With her wedding being next month (July), we wanted to make sure we would be able to get it in time. The manager bold face lied to me and said they weren't closing so we went ahead and placed the order. My daughter needed a size 2 and they ordered a 4. We went in the day the dress came in, June 12th so she could try on the dress. It was WAY TOO BIG! We questioned why a 4 was ordered when she needed a 2 and was told "we order them a size bigger because we don't know if the smaller size will fit and then we can alter it". That is NOT acceptable as it is just a way to make more money on alterations. I was then told they couldn't do anything about it because their store was closing. I was told I would need to contact the Greenwood store which is an hour and a half away and they could do an exchange. Again, unacceptable! Why should I have to deal with it when the wrong size was ordered to begin with and make two trips with gas being almost $4/gallon when this was their mistake, not ours. Needless to say it got real heated and they finally called Greenwood and they have ordered a size 2 and it is supposed to be in on June 24th. The manager in Lafayette told me they made an appointment for alterations for that same day in case it needed to be altered. Just wanted to make sure things happened the way they were supposed to, I call the Greenwood store Tuesday and the manager confirmed the dress had been ordered BUT the alterations appointment had NOT been made as I was told. I made an appointment in case it was needed. The dress is not cheaper than it was a few weeks ago. I feel like I was lied to by the manager when we were there to purchase the dress and lied to again when we went to pick it up. This is the third dress we have purchased from David's Bridal not to mention all the bridesmaids dresses that we purchased for my oldest daughter's wedding and this wedding. I hope someone from David's Bridal's corporate office contacts me to discuss as I have tried and tried to get in touch with them. read more

I went to this store after having an issue with a store in Indy. Not, David's. I tried on a few dresses and then tried on the "one". At the time, I had just found out I was pregnant. Early on, but nonetheless I was. So it was recommended I order a size up. I ordered the size up, when it came in it was huge! I freaked out and they offered to order me the size I tried on. I went against my better judgement bc I wanted to make sure it was going to be perfect. FORGETTING that they can take the dress out up to 1 inch on either side. Anyway, they had to reconstruct the sleeves, take the bust in and make about 450-500 worth of alterations. I was in 4 times for alterations and on the 4th time it still was not correct. So, 5 times for alterations must dress sleeves look like a sweater that has been hung on a hanger all winter, there is excess lace which is "supposed" to be there and I'm not happy. My seamstress was sweet, but my overall experience with this store was NOT a good one. Any rumors you heard about David's are probably true. Go with your gut. read more

I had a wedding dress appointment yesterday. My first time EVER trying a wedding dress! I was stoked and had my whole bridal party with me. The appointment was at 6pm and was a dedicated 1 hour appointment I booked. The girl assisting me was very sweet, HOWEVER, her coworkers were HORRIBLE!! The store closes at 7:30. I had until 7 you'd think right?! Nope...the first coworker was trying to take dresses I hadn't even tried on yet off the rack outside my door and glaring at me from the corner of room with each one, all while mumbling to the girl helping me that it was almost closing time!! She was rude, bitchy, unprofessional and all around foul! The poor girl helping me kept apologizing for her behavior throughout the appointment. As we were heading to the counter to make my file with the 2 dresses I was deciding on, I told my bridal party to peruse the bridesmaid dresses, when ANOTHER employee, rudely said "we are closing, you'll have to make an appointment". It was 7:02... the store closes at 7:30!! At that point, I snapped, told them how rude they were and left to cry the whole way home!! They lost the business of EVERYONE in my party for life and I will do my damndest to make sure NO ONE goes to this place!! What a HORRIBLE experience all the way around!! Of all items to shop for, staff in bridal stores should be EXTRA kind and helpful. David's Bridal is atrocious and should be ashamed of themselves! I have finally received my refund thanks to upper management! The store manager and alterations manager did not assist in helping me get a refund and I am extremely disappointed in this store. I however was able to figure out how to get in touch with someone in upper management whom was extremely helpful and respectful. I hate that it took this kind of work on my end and going this far but I do appreciate finally getting my refund so I can get a dress in time for my wedding. read more

When we first bought the dresses, they were very helpful & friendly. We then needed them altered, again very nice service. But, when we showed up ( a month & half later because of their scheduling) we were treated POORLY!! They couldn't find our appt, but found the dresses then acted extremely shocked that my daughters wanted to try them on. One of the dresses was o.k, but the other was COMPLETELY wrong!! They acted as if they had no clue as to why we were angry. No remorse, we could leave it AGAIN for it to be fixed. But it wouldn't have been done for another "at least" two weeks!! I was in need of a Mother of the Groom dress. I went to David's Bridal in Lafayette, IN. I was treated badly. They did not inquire about what I was looking for or what type. Just pointed to an area in the store. At the time, the store was not busy. I think it was because I had jeans and a t-shirt on when I went. I went to another store and they were very helpful. Not a Julia Roberts moment but I was treated as bad. To David's Bridal: I hope you read this and think before you act the next time. I went to a David's Bridal in Chicago and had a wonderful experience. I selected my dress, but wanted to take my mom and grandmothers to try it on with them and select accessories. I called this store and confirmed they had my dress and size available to try on. When I got there, they told me they didn't have the dress... They had selected other dresses for me to try on. When I explained that someone had confirmed with me they did have the dress, and that I wouldn't have booked the appointment at the store if they didn't, another associate magically knew they had the dress. I tried it on, chose accessories and bought the dress, a sash, and jewelry. As I was trying things on, I will say the associates were lovely and very helpful. HOWEVER Several days later, I was going through my receipts and tracking my wedding budget, and I noticed the size of the dress was wrong. I tried on the correct size while at the store, and confirmed the size several times. They ordered a size smaller. When I called the store, they were as little help as possible. She had trouble finding my account, then asked what my "problem" was without confirming she had found the account. She tried to say "Oh, you ordered the wrong size?" No, I know what I ordered. I ordered the same size I tried on at two different stores. She said I could exchange it when I received it. I explained I didn't want to do that because I had been told it was in line to be discontinued and I didn't want to risk not being able to get my size after I wait for the wrong size to ship first. I asked to speak to a manager, and was finally able to exchange it immediately so I get the right size. They can't email me a receipt or any confirmation. Fingers crossed this all works out. If not, I'll be going to a different branch. read more

I'm in this store so much I think the staff is starting to recognize me and know me on a first-name basis. I can't help it--I'm planning a wedding! I was able to coordinate my bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother-of-the-bride dresses all from David's Bridal in Lafayette, including accessories--and these people are all across the US. It wasn't a problem for David's Bridal and there was never a hitch. I ended up buying my dress elsewhere, but they were incredibly helpful when it came to getting a veil, picking out flower girl accessories, and so forth. My consultant, even though I tried on dresses there close to a year ago, still remembers me by name. I love this store and would recommend it to anybody who's looking for a special occasion dress, let alone planning a wedding! read more

After my original wedding dress was ruined by a local seamstress (never take your dress elsewhere for alterations), I needed to buy a new dress 10 days before my wedding. The staff at David's Bridal turned this nightmare situation into a pleasant experience and spent three hours with me helping me pick a dress that I liked and taking my measurements to start a rush on alterations. Everyone there was so helpful, friendly and comforting. They really tried to help me find a solution to my concern in a timely and thoughtful way! This was a terrible experience when I was getting my dresses last year. I would have gone somewhere else, but because my girls are so far away from me and each other. I wanted a store that was available close to them and I could set up the registry so all they had to do was go in, get fitted and leave. This was unfortunately David's Bridal. Our consultant was horrendous. She showed us dresses that I specifically said were out of our style, not even available in the color that I wanted, and some of them that she showed were apparently not available by the time of my wedding. Why would you even show us a dress if its not the color we want or available in the time frame we need (which was a pretty large time frame...4 months away). When I went looking myself, she told me all of the dresses that I picked would not get here on time by the time of my wedding. Another consultant came over while my girls were trying on the dress I picked and said it was beautiful. It was perfect on them. Our consultant said, "Too bad they won't come on time." The other consultant gave her a weird look and said, "are you sure?" So, was the dress available by our time frame...seems like it. That really tipped us off that something was wrong here. Showed the incapacity of my consultant. Funny, when it seemed like I had no options and the consultant saw I was going to cry. (Unfortunately, I was a bit stressed over this whole experience). She magically found a dress in my color and available. We settled on a dress. I wasn't about to have a meltdown in a David's Bridal. It was nice, but not the dress we all loved. Oh, on top of that it was $100 more than the dress we liked. The consultant insisted that all my girls come to this store and make sure to get her when getting the dress. Seems like a ploy for her to make a good commission. Considering she told us the dress we picked (that was $100 less) was not available, when it seems like from another consultant it would be and we had to come into her store and request her. hmmm. When we were settling up. She told me to ask my bridesmaids to go to a David's Bridal immediately (within 2 days) and get the dress that we ended up picking, because if we didn't the dress wouldn't be in on time. Well most of my girls did do that, because they were worried. The dress came the next week...definitely had enough time. Makes me again believe my perfect dress could of come in and be altered within 4 months... Just wait to put the cherry on top of this already terrible experience. The consultant measured my girls wrong. Not just slightly off, multiple sizes. So my girls had to alter their dresses even more. In all, this was the WORST experience I had during my whole wedding experience. In all of my other venders this experience was the most stressful experience. Finding bridesmaids dresses is suppose to be one of the more fun things. I just hope this review deters other girls from making the mistake of coming here. read more

I *LOVE* the staff at this store. I feel lucky to have had the help of the staff at this particular David's Bridal. Kelly was such a sweet person to work with through the entire process. When I took my dress back not once but three times, she was patient and kind. She never once made me feel like the burden I know I was being to them. They helped me color coordinate, find the best deals, plan the bridesmaid dresses, and find my aunt's dress too. Chelsea and Sarah did an excellent job helping me out the many other times I came into the store. I found the dress I originally wanted on the website during the $99 sale, and Kelly worked it out for me to get the dress of my dreams. I had many exchanges, and there were some issues with store credit at times due to some misunderstandings. Kelly was incredibly patient through it all. She worked with me. I would have never expected someone to practically bend over backwards to help a customer. You guys(the corporation) seriously don't understand what a treasure you have in Kelly. She's honest and hard-working, and I have never met anyone quite like her. I would definitely encourage you to go to David's Bridal for your wedding needs. My only advice when you're shopping for your wedding dress is to make sure you know it's the one you want-that the dream in your head and the cost match up. Make sure of that before buying, because they don't do full returns in the store. They'll exchange for you, and do store credit though. Thanks for such a great experience!!! ^_^ read more

I went to David's Bridal in Lafayette today! I was not pleased, to say the absolute least. The workers were far from helpful or nice. I understand the entirety of the covid19 situation! The fact that she raised her voice at me and my family numerous times, had me outraged. The return policy consisted of this 'you have in store credit if the dress doesn't fit you, but you also couldn't touch or browse the dresses.' I am happy I didn't like any of the dresses, just so I don't have to deal with the workers again. I will not be returning to this store any time soon. read more

I thought that this david's bridal was very nice. There was a ton of choices for me and the staff was very nice. The only reason I did not give them a five star is because while their dress prices are very reasonable it starts to add up very quickly and the "add ons" are expensive. $60 for hem + extra for every type of alterations. Very pricey jeweled belts for 3x the amount of it normally and I wont even get started on undergarments... Basically, just "say yes to the dress" and get everything else elsewhere. :) read more

While I've had absolutely wonderful experiences at the David's Bridal on 82nd St in Indianapolis (where I got my wedding dress), I have had nearly only awful experiences with this one (where we purchased our 7 bridesmaid dresses). This is a really long review, because so many things went wrong. The gist of it is that the girl that worked with us was unhelpful, entered information incorrectly into the computer so that we ordered three dresses a size too large (and they aren't willing to cover the alterations to fix their mistake), and that there has been inconsistent information given to us throughout the entire experience. First, when we went in to have our girls try on dresses, the girl that "helped" us did not really help at all. When we told her what we were looking for, she would bring us dresses that did not work at all with what we needed. For example, one bridesmaid is almost 6' tall, so we explained that if we were to go with a shorter dress that it would need to be one that had an option to add length to the bottom - yet she brought us multiple dresses where this was not an option. We were also running into an issue with the dresses having a wait time of up to just one week before the wedding, and so we began looking for dresses that did not have such a long wait. Yet, when we set this as one of the main criteria, she kept bringing dresses and when we would say, "so this one isn't back ordered so far?" she would just respond with, "Oh, well I have to check the system". She did not answer our questions either, and could not seem to understand most of what we were saying (when we asked her for a shrug to see how the neckline of a dress would look with one, she literally did nothing to help - I ended up pulling my sweatshirt back on a bridesmaid to get a rough image). Then, when we looked up the dress we decided to go with on the website, it was listed as being on sale, which the girl confirmed. She said that we would only be able to get the sales price if we were to buy them before the sale ended, and we asked if we purchased one dress if we would be able to lock in the price (since not all of our bridesmaids were able to attend to try on and we did not want to risk not being able to get the same dress for them, and having everyone else have already ordered). They told us that we could. As soon as we got to the register, they informed us that the dress we chose was not actually on sale in our colors, so they would only sell it at full price. We left. Before we left, three bridesmaids tried on the same dress. It fit one bridesmaid perfectly, and it was a bit snug on the other two, so we decided that they should go up one size. A week later, we went back because we had decided that we would order the dresses (even if we had terrible service, it was still a beautiful dress). When I had asked the bridesmaids for their sizes, they told me they needed a 16 and two 18's. When we got to David's Bridal, the two larger sizes were listed in the computer as 20's. Assuming that they would not have been put in the computer for the wrong size, we thought that they must have tried on an 18, that the two larger sizes had decided not to go up a size, and that the 20 was the size up that I had thought would look better, we ordered the 18 and the two 20's. After speaking with my bridesmaids, they all informed me that they had tried on a 16, and that the 18 they asked for WAS a size larger. So, the sales girl entered the wrong size into the computer, and three of our bridesmaid dresses have been ordered a size too large. We were informed that they would not cover the cost of the extra alterations that they will now need to have (re-ordering the dresses would put their wait time at past the wedding now), and my girls will have to pay out of pocket for the sales girl's mistake. Finally, today I got a phone call that five out of seven dresses had come in. She told me that there was construction, and that since it could be hard to get to the store (I live an hour away) that they would be willing to mail the dresses to my home for free. She then confirmed my address with me, and I explained that I lived in an apartment and it would be better to send to my grandmother's house, and we then confirmed my grandmother's address. Yet a few hours later, my aunt (who lives in Lafayette) called and said that she would be able to make it to pick up the dresses and not to mail them, they said that they do not do that kind of thing and they had just called to let me know they were in. Why would they confirm my address and ask for my grandmother's address if that were the case? This David's Bridal location has been an absolute nightmare. I highly recommend either a complete staff overhaul, or that everyone else either go to the one on 82nd street in Indianapolis/another bridal shop. read more

Let me tell you this was the worst experience EVER!!! They lost my dress then tried to lie to me about losing it. I dropped my dress off for alterations i was suppose to pick it up done ready to go I only had to minor alterations so I thought shouldn't be a problem. They call me an hour before my pick up time and tell me there was an issue and that they need to refit my bustle. Ok no problem lady said they can have it done in an hour. Then I get there and get in the fitting room this lady bring me in a dress in ivory. I dropped off my dress that is stark white. As soon as she walked in with it I told her "that's not my dress" she assured me that it was. She has to completely redo my alterations telling me that they misplaced my last alterations tag. I kept saying are you sure this is my dress bc I don't think it is. Anyway after all the back and forth this amazing store manager approaches me and informed me that it's in fact not my dress and that no one knows where it is. They looked and looked I went home over two hours from their store. The rest of the day She tried to find the same one in white from any other store no luck. So the next day I went back I cried and begged to be able to go look in the alterations area myself. Kaci went and looked again and finally found my dress. Promise were made by the regional director and that was another lie never followed through. They tried to lie to me about my dress and convince me that this ivory dress was mine when in fact it wasn't. Do Not Buy Your Dresses Here Ladies!! They lie about anything and everything! read more

I went to pick up my mother-of-the groom dress. It was a wrinkled mess! I was told they would steam it for me FOR $15! I wasn't too happy about it, so the saleslady told me I could hang it on the back of my bathroom door when I take a shower to get the wrinkles out. I felt like I had no option but to pay the $15 and get it steamed, which they did while I waited, about 20 minutes. I was told that the dresses get wrinkled when shipped in the plastic bag. If it were my business, I would make sure the dress looked its best before the customer picked it up and I certainly wouldn't charge them for it! I do not recommend this business. read more

I went for a professional fitting at this David Bridal location and they they gave me the wrong size. When I purchased a bridesmaid dress online, it was to tight and despite contacting the store and David's Bridal customer service, they would let me return the dress but I had to pay for shipping costs, along with had to purchase a new dress and pay for additional tax and shipping costs. David's Bridal has a horrible return policy and despite me going to extra step to ensure I would have the right size to order, they would not compensate for their mistakes. I will NEVER order from David's Bridal again. read more

I had a good experience with picking out my dress and getting it altered. However... When I went to pick up my dress (10 days before my wedding), the employee told me to come back later that afternoon to pick it up because it wasn't done. The store has had over a month to work on my dress and I paid almost $300 for alterations - not to mention stopping making decorations and driving across town to be on time for my appointment. My "appointment" was a waste of time and money. I have to go back again to get my dress and since they've apparently waited until the last minute to complete it, I'm probably going to be disappointed. read more

So it is hard to give a true rating for David's Bridal. I went here for my first look at wedding dresses. I must say that after looking through all the dresses, NOTHING popped out at me. I am very different in my style, so I was not interested in what they had to offer (nothing against them). The lady who helped was very kind and persistent in trying to find a dress for my style (which was a hopeless cause). The true issue here is they initially asked for my email, phone number, other info, which seemed normal. However, I did not know I would be receiving MANY emails per week from 3rd party companies...some of which were total scams inviting me to free dinners for 2. Not to mention the phone calls from the staff. I guess for me I do not like to be bothered by persistent salespeople...but that is just me. Maybe there can be a box to check on the info sheet you make brides fill out, David's Bridal? One that says "DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME, I AM NOT INTERESTED". That would be great. Overall, not a great experience for me. Let's just say I was kind of traumatized as well from the whole thing. Maybe just go in and take a glance before committing yourself to paper, 3rd party emails, and phonecalls from the staff. read more

This store offers the worst service in the whole United States. I purchased two dresses and several accessories and I chose the rush delivery. When I purchased the dress，I checked several times with the salesperson when the packages would be delivered. David's Bridal promised my dress would arrive no later than MARCH 29TH if I choose the rush delivery and pay the extra fees. I trusted them and paid off the rush fees. On March 29th, there was still one dress had not been delivered! I felt upset and I called them for a reason. And I thought I should get refund for the rush delivery fee, because my dress did not arrive on time! However, they threatened me if I ask the refund for the rush delivery fee, my dress will not come within the next month. I felt so angry, David Bridal did not fulfill their promise, and however, they even never apologized to me. Rush delivery fee is not expensive for me, but I think I should get some compensation. Today is very close to my wedding ceremony, but until now I did not get my dress, if they told me earlier, I will not purchase this dress. Second, they told me when my orders come to store, they will call me. However, they have never called me. Every time, I need to call them to check status of my order, it wastes me a lot of time! I felt so disappointed, if you are so busy, why you promise your customers you will call them! Your promise looks like a bullshit! Third, When I try the sample dress in store and found something not fit my body, the sales person get their tailor comes immediately. It looks like the tailor has enough time to help customers. However, when my dress arrived in store and I wanted to see the tailor to talk about the alternation, I found it was hard to make an appointment with tailors. It looks like that tailors have time before you purchasing. However, once you purchased, David Bridal will not care about whether this dress fit. read more

Even though we made an appointment well in advance, my daughter was matched with an associate who made a point of saying that she wasn't trained and wasn't even supposed to be working that night. My daughter was left completely alone to pick out dresses with no guidance as to shape or style. Then my daughter was relegated to a poorly lit side room area to try on dresses while her grandmother and I were told to sit on (very uncomfortable) chairs to wait. The sales girl was friendly, but obviously clueless about style and proper fit, so it was impossible to determine which dresses could have been good choices for her. When I asked a different sales associate if my daughter could try on a gown similar to one another bride was wearing, she was blatantly irritated by the request. Also, the store did not carry any up-to-date examples of the type of gown my daughter wanted to see and we had to ask specifically about accessories and coordinating items. The entire experience was unprofessionally handled and a huge disappointment at what should be one of the most joyous times in my daughter's life. Shame on you, David's Bridal. read more

My fiancé got her wedding dress at David's bridal in Chicago where her mom is from. We live near Lafayette Indiana. That is where they did alterations. They were supposed to take it in an inch on each side after the first try on. The person doing the work on it took it in 2inches on each side instead. Now for the 5th time she is here to try it on. They knew they were supposed to take each side out an inch the last 2 visits. We will see if they actually do that this time. Oh and the wedding is only 9days away. I had an appointment, arrived early and they were not ready for me. Also, I had my family with me and of course they had no available chairs left in the whole store (even though I had an appointment scheduled). My grandmother and mother had to stand the whole time making it uncomfortable. It will have been a week tomorrow, I purchased my dress and all my accessories spending close to one thousand dollars - still no dress (they were supposed to ship it 5 days ago) and no tracking number!!! Worst experience of my entire wedding planning. First off, at my first alterations apt. the girl wouldn't help me put my girdle on (which I obviously can't do by myself and I told her that 3 times) so I put it on very loosely which made my dress not fit properly so she added a corset back to it, okay fine, I like it. I then told her I needed the top altered and she kept saying "yeah, okay" and proceeded to not fix it. She then scheduled me for a pick up...mind you the dress wasn't finished being altered. I came back a second time and yet again another person would help with the girdle. We fixed the top that needed altered but then she left me to undress myself (corset done up tight with a button) again, obviously can't do that alone. I got over that all but informed them my wedding was less than a month away and needed my dress back ASAP they say okay, now the day before pickup they call and say it's not ready.. We are so disappointed with the alterations person at the Lafayette David's Bridal. Three times my future daughter in law had to try to get the alterations done correctly. After spending $200 for very bad alterations we went to The Sewing Shop and for $30 she is very happy. The only alterations were taking up the straps and bringing in the sides a bit which all had to be ripped out and redone! Also David's Bridal hand stitched the shoulders which left dirty oil stains on a beautiful ivory dress. Also don't get me started on the bridesmaids dress that was sent in the wrong color and a pair of shoes that we are still trying to get dyed after 2 times driving from Indy because they said they were ready! I don't think I will be puchasing a gown from this store!!! I had high hopes of finding the perfect dress, even called two weeks in advance to make an appointment. I selected 10:30 only a half hour after the store opened. The store was empty aside from 3 employees when two of my bridesmaids and I entered. We were promptly greeted then I was asked to fill out a form. As suggested, I had registered online and saved some favorites so we could save time by knowing what I was looking for, the staff was unable to pull up my account so we were flying in the dark. The saleswoman who helped us was also training a very sweet young girl so maybe she was over whelmed. Let's call her Saleswoman K, she made me feel rushed, only pulled 5 dresses and totally ignored the gowns my bridesmaids pulled. After trying on only 5 dresses she wanted to me to pick one, commit, and buy. We walked out with nothing and I refuse to purchase anything from that woman! read more

Very unhappy with my experiences with this store. I have scheduled multiple appointments for myself/my bridesmaids and the staff was not helpful. A majority of the time, we had to go get the dresses ourselves because our consultant disappeared - mind you, there were only one or two other customers in the store and plenty of staff members working. Every question or comment we made regarding styles or ideas, it was like we were speaking a foreign language. The dress I had originally chosen for my BMs is no longer carried in their store - how convenient. When I ordered my wedding dress, they told me they will call and email upon it's arrival. Their policy states, after a week, they send it back to the warehouse. I get a call saying I need to come get my wedding dress because it has been at the store for four days and it would be sent back soon - they never contacted me when it arrived. I pick up my dress slip, it's in a size 4... I'm a size 0. I ask them why they ordered the slip in size 4. They told me they usually order a little big so you can have breathing room and I could buy a corset bra to go over it. I don't understand what the point is of having a dress slip if it falls off of you. Picking up a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I'm in, I had to call them to see if it had arrived yet because it had been so long. They couldn't even find it in the system. Turns out it had already arrived. It's like they don't really care to help their customers and are completely unorganized. Overall, I have little desire to deal with them in the future because every time I go in there every little thing is such a hassle. I had a great experience with the Greenwood store, but absolutely terrible experience with the Lafayette store. read more
