Once we received their appropriate insurance paperwork they were here two days later to begin removing a 60 foot oak tree handing dangerously over our garage. From there they proceeded to clear our property of a great number of sweet gum, holly, magnolia trees and a slew of debris including cleaning up the wisteria at our street. It rained several days during this project and we discussed them doing other work those days to avoid tearing up our yard and the communication in person and via phone was excellent. Note that Lee doesn't text much so pick up the phone and call. The three gentlemen were highly professional and personable. Avoid Collins Landscape at all cost. The used car salesman of landscaping . Dishonest /…read moremisleading. Collins purposely shorts the product you order with their miniature "scoop" size. And once their delivery truck dumps at your site and you immediately realize that you were misled, you're stuck. Their Driver claims ignorance, admits something doesn't look right, takes multiple pics, and recommends you call the office as he drives away. The owner Gary Collins is, of course, unavailable / unresponsive for days and the manager's response is to ask if you want to purchase even more. LOL. They, after the payment and delivery when questioned, suddenly report they use a smaller Special Scoop Size than you will find at almost any other supplier (their scoop magically weighs your product... not a Yard but their version of a guesstimation "ton scoop." Yep not a Yard scoop that otherwise is the industry standard.) And you end up severely shorted with rock weighing 1.3 to 1.5 tons per yard scoop costing you and profiting Collins big bucks. So, when Collins is trying to sell you "Scoops", you better get in writing that it's not a cooking scoop or a news reporter scoop. Dont trust them. Dont pay in advance. Watch Them closely when loading your purchase... or Simply save yourself and just shop somewhere else. SHAME on you Collins Landscape of Anderson

When you told me you e-mailed me the final invoice for the project, I told you I could not review it at that time. You insisted you had bills to pay and needed the remaining balance immediately. At a glance I did notice that you had only given me credit for $12,000 previously paid when in reality it was $14,000. You gave no explanation but did make the change. If I had had the time to review, I would have noted that you charged me for YOUR mistakes and redos to try to make the water feature operate properly. It was very clear after 6 weeks that you were way over your head. You did not have the resources or the skill set for this project. If I was happy when you left it was because I would not be having someone run over my sprinkler heads, take out my irrigation piping, sever internet cable, run your equipment into my brand new fence and drip oil all over my driveway. You have got to be kidding if you think I want you to come back for further damage to my property!
