My boyfriend and I were gonna do a quick grocery run last night around 10 but managed to lock ourselves out thinking the other had the house key. Did a quick Yelp search, called David, got a quote, and he was at our place in about 20mins. He was able to unlock our main door and our screen door in less than five minutes. We didn't have enough cash on us so we asked him if he wanted to follow us to the bank. He made an exception and just told us he would accept a check. I wrote a check and thanked him. He came back right away to tell me I overpaid him by $10. He said, he gave me a discount for the second door. Good guy! I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews here. Thanks David! I hired him twice. The first time he was referred by another locksmith and came at 7. Got a quote for $60 and charged me for $75. second time he came to give me a quote. He quoted me for $200 plus and I refused to let him do the job. I asked him to leave and he wanted me to pay $45 trip charge. He never said there is a trip charge. He refused to leave my property and called me "F*** B". He intimidated me. I had to call police to force him leave. Sheriff came in and I showed the sheriff his messages. No record of asking for a trip charge. Sheriff has to escort him off my property. Do not hire him. read more

Terrible service. We were locked out of our house when we decided to call David since he was the closest. He answered the phone and immediately said yes I can unlock doors. He took my cell # and said I'll call you. Didn't let me explain what kind of lock or how many. He shows up and says he can't open it and that he'll have to break the lock. We refused to let him break it since we had spoken to another locksmith that said they could unlock it. He started yelling at us to pay him and started making some racist comments. We asked him to leave as we didn't feel safe and he refused. He walked away and came back to tell at us a couple times. Honestly considered calling the cops if he came back. We called AAA and they had it unlocked in less then 10 minutes. And if you're a member, it's covered. Definitely wouldn't recommend David. read more

David was excellent! I locked my keys in my car after grocery shopping and didn't know what to do, so I turned to yelp for help. He showed up within 20 minutes of me calling him and was kind and helpful in explaining the process. My car has been broken into a couple times, so the door handle wasn't functioning the way it was supposed to for his tools, but he managed to get into the door anyway, all within a few minutes! This is my first experience calling a locksmith and I'm glad I called David's locksmith! It was about 7pm and my husband accidentally left the keys in the house so my kids and I were stuck outside in the cold. I called around getting different quotes to see which one was affordable/quickest and he was the best choice, and he was also the closest to me. He was friendly and arrived within 20 mins & he unlocked our door within 3 mins! I'm so glad he was able to come to our rescue quickly.....other locksmiths were either "not available at the moment" or their ETA would be a few hours. So I have this really bad habit of locking my front door whenever I go out. Which is good, you know, for safety reasons. But the amount of times I locked myself out is TOO DAMN HIGH! I had to call the COPS! This man scared my whole family and made my son cry. My husband called him at 10 am to open our room door and said he wasn't going to be able to go u til 2pm. We then contacted Someone else who could come sooner and texted him to let him know we were cancelling in advance. Comes 2pm, and my cousin calls me to say there is a man who forced his way into the house and pushing my niece with the door and then closing it behind him while demanding $45 for service call. My husband and I were not home at the time, so we tell him that we had cancelled and he insists on us paying him $45 because he apparently missed another appointment to come to ours. My husband then starts to get offended and tells him he has not touched our door or done any service so the best he could do is give him $20 for gas. This man then starts to yell from the top of his lungs that we are cheap that we have a good home and we can't pay him and he said "FUXK YOUR $20 you cheap mothereffer" to my husband. And he said "you will remember who I am" This man not only threatened my family, scared my son and offended my husband but he also traumatized everyone in the house. I hope this review helps anyone who has read this far to come to the conclusion of never letting so disrespectful, immature and insane anywhere near their home. read more

Didn't have good experience with this Korean locksmith. He couldn't open the locks I ask him to, he also saw my new front door lock and gave up. He eventually tired 3 locks and wanted to charge me for 50 bucks! ( But i pretended i only had 40.) I'm pretty sure he said 20 on the phone. :( read more

Omg!!! This company is very deceitful about their prices. My mom got locked out so I called David's locksmith, he priced me $19 to come out 30+ to open door I agreeed thinking It will be 70, 80, 90 heck 100 bucks. The guy quoted me $290. I was so shocked. I called the main line to explain what happend they hang up on me. The Technician Michael was very nice and remained professional the whole time. DONT GIVE LOW PRICE ON PHONE AND THEN JACK UP THE PRICE ITS NOT A GOOD LOOK. Be honest with your clients. read more

His service is professional, and all the locks works after he rekeyed them. He also gave me extra keys without charging me. His service charge is very reasonable, comparing to other Locksmith. Fucking worst experience with the Korean guy. Don't ever ask him to open your house nor car because he can't open NEITHER. What kind of a locksmith is he if he can't open the door? And he tells me to be patient and calls me rude for interrupting him when I told him I will call my mom to come instead of waiting for him to struggle with both of my house and car keys. And then he just BREAKS my door knob to open the door. And leaves the house without any apology or anything. Worst locksmith you will ever meet. Stay away from this business if you want your doors open and not be harassed. David you should be really ashamed of yourself. And maybe genuinely consider retiring because you can't open a single door after 30 years(just like you told me) and you're ruining other people's days.
