Nice way to end the summer.
Drove roughly 4 hours to get here with all the detours (long I know) spent two nights in one of their suits and it was great. It came fully equipped, microwave stove fridge dishwasher and all the pots and pants you could need. The bed was very comfy and so was the room in general. We had a balcony over looking the water beautiful for sunsets.
It wasn't peak season as it's the end of summer so it was pretty much dead but that's fine by me. The restaurant is only open starting Friday so if you're hungry I suggest you get food at Mont Laurier. There is a convince store/SAQ attached to the reception so you don't have to go to far for your everyday essentials.
We decided to rent a boat they have prices for the full day but we got half the day 1-7 and it was fantastic! The lake is enormous, all you see is nothing but water for miles and miles a boaters/fishers paradise. We didn't get to fish this time around but hoping to on our next visit in.
The two lady's at reception were great and so was the younger guy we had very friendly. You can rent movies at the dep for 5 dollars so don't worry for those late blah nights. There's also wifi it's 12.50 a day but if you have a suite it's free.
All in all I will be back here loved my time here. read more
