I have been to this establishment a couple of times since their opening. This was approximately 5 times and every time I go the sign on the door said closed. Also hearing from others at other locations in Iredell and Catawba counties that they are always closed when the times that they said they are to be open and actually closed. Cars in the parking lot and everything. If you are training or out to lunch please say so on the door and what time you will return to open. Being closed all the time is bad for business and on a couple of occasions I was there to buy and patronize the business, the sales would have accounted to almost 2k. I went elsewhere to buy my parts. Get your acts together USA tactical.

Enoch adjusted it for me and let me take it out for a test ride in the parking lot behind the shop. They didn't pressure me to buy it right away, and I ended up leaving overnight to think about it (and also try a Venge from fb marketplace). I asked if they (Wes and Enoch) could have a look at my 1970s vintage road bike, which needed some work. They said they weren't too busy at the moment and could have it fixed in 24 hours. I returned the next morning when they opened and purchased the Allez and picked up the old bike that they had fixed. I thought it was just a freewheel that needed to be replaced and possibly a new chain, but apparently the axle was broken and only pressure was holding it together -- I'm so happy this got found before a catastrophic failure while riding. My old commuter road bike rides so much better now. I highly recommend Enoch for any repairs. I took the Allez out for three weekend rides, one of which Strava informed me was my fastest 50 mile ride of all time, and the shifters are a HUGE upgrade over the friction shifters on the other bike for all the hills around here. Somehow I left my drivers license following the test ride with them accidentally and Wes called to let me know and offered to mail it to me if that was easier for me. He and Enoch also went above and beyond to help show me other accessories I asked about, a few of which I purchased but most of which I held off on but the knowledge was much appreciated, and Enoch also helped me take the front wheel off and get it loaded up in my car. Would definitely recommend First Flight for your bicycle needs.

They assured me that it would be finished within 1-2 hours. I showed up an hour later as they were just finishing up. One of the associates was letting me know some of the features as the tech took it for a quick spin post build. They did not upsell me on accessories that I may or may not need, they helped me pick out a helmet and gave me some tips for my new bike, as well as offered me two free tune ups as a new customer. Not only do they run a solid shop, they have beer on tap and coffee as well. Will definitely be a returning customer and would recommend to others.
