I called the week between Christmas and NYE and left a message saying I wanted to make an appt. Joanna returned my call within 24 hours. I told her what we needed done and she took notes, took my information and said she would return call once folks got back from the holidays. She called and set up an appointment for following week. The day before appt. she called and gave me approximate arrival time of technician's. Kept me informed up to the point of their arrival. They had been delayed with job, but kept me in the loop the whole time. The Techs arrived I showed them my problems and where power boxes were and they got to work. Robert and his associate were very professional, and gave complete explanations of the problems and how they would fix them. We call 5 electrician on Memorial Day and left our number with a message stating they home had been hit by a power surge from a blown transformer. Davie Electrical was the only one to call back and they even call on the holiday. They set up a time to come out to give an estimate and my husband liked it so much he accepted. The best part was the gentleman, Dennis, started the work right than and did as much as he could until he had to leave for his next schedule appointment. He call the boss to get a quote on some additional work not cover by insurance they did us a deal. He was very polite and professional. Even took time to answer a questions my teen had about an outlet in his bedroom even going into his bedroom to help he understand that while my son's ideal would work it wasn't really safe. My electric hot water heater was not working today. I checked the circuit breaker and it was fine. I have a transfer switch installed when I use my generator during power outages and I thought the switch was at fault. Dennis from Davie Electrical came and before he attempted to open up the switch decided to check the connection to the hot water heater. What he found surprised both of us. One of the wire nuts had come loose and cause a massive short burning the wires. He had to clean it all out and rewire the connection with better wire nuts. He did a great job and had my water heater working in no time. Saved me the trouble of replacing the transfer switch. Good company and great service. read more

Can't begin to put in to word the way my wife and I feel. Called Davie's and left a voice mail and with in a few minutes I got a call back from Dennis and ask if he could stop by and take a look at the work I needed. When he showed up he was very polite and answered all my questions and within an hour or so he replaced a bathroom fan with a lite/fan unit and switched a couple lite switches around. I have another project and I will be calling Davie's to take care of it. I just had a tremendous experience with Dennis at Davie Electrical. I need to install one of the Ring floodcams as well as replacing one receptacle in the garage and adding a receptacle. They responded as soon as I called and they did great work at a very reasonable price. Frankly I was stunned because usually when you call a contractor, you have to follow up three and four times to even get them to your home. It was not that way with Davie Electrical.
