I purchased a 2010 Taurus SHO in March 2017 with 74k miles from their Connelsville location. I was told by a sales manager it was a Certified Pre-Owned. Now the car has 83k miles and is need of a new engine according to Suppes Ford in Johnstown. I gave Davies a call and he says the car was not a CPO and that anything older than 5 years isn't even eligible and completely denies the claim. Why would I make that up? Also, I traded in a Honda Civic when I got the SHO, and part of the deal was they were going to give me the remote start out of the Civic back but it would take a day or two. So I left and made the hour plus drive home. Fast forward a week, no starter. I give them a call and they said they have it and will mail it out soon. Fast forward a week and nothing. I call again and they inform that sales person has quit and they will have to look for it. The next day they find and and the sales manager says he'll mail it out tomorrow. Fast forward a week I call and that sales manager has also quit and they can't find it but will look for it. Fast forward a few months and they still can't find it but do agree to put a new remote start on my SHO. So kudos there. Too bad it took a few months of back and forth to accomplish it. And lastly. 3 months after date of purchase I caused a door ding and called my insurance to see if I could get the ding fixed. They had no record of the SHO on my insurance. I thought perhaps I had dropped the ball on this but I had always had the dealership add the car when you're doing the final paperwork. So I called the dealership and asked to talk to a sales manager but didn't give him my name or told him what was going on. I proceeded to just ask him "if I purchase a used vehicle do you or I add the car to my insurance?" He of course tells me what I already suspect and it's them who had the car during the final paperwork. So ya, they dropped the ball not me. I just talked to Jim Davies and he denies absolutely everything I told him and claims everything is something I had done incorrectly. So as I may be a complete stranger on facebook, but if you're thinking of buying a vehicle with Davies please read the rest of reviews of this place. Sending people a money carlo scam saying that everyone won $5000 just to get them to come to their special event where they tell you that you didn't actually win because the confirmation code is not correct. Scam. Don't give business to these people who are dishonest - plenty of honest and deserving business out there that deserve your business. Never buy a car here. read more

Dishonest dealership . Sold us a used car with 34,000 miles on it that had clearly been in a flood. We bought it through a sales person Roger Onusko . Asked about condition of car he's says and I quote "what can I say it's like new it has only 35,000 miles on it . We do thorough inspections on all vehicles" He failed to mention car had been completely under water. They now say we bought it as an Internet sale and won't take damaged misrepresented car back. We have car in 05/10/2016 right now trying to get AC compressor to work along with many other items that are being discovered by repair shop I would NEVER DEAL WITH THIS DISHONEST DEALERSHIP AGAIN read more

They are just interested in making sales! They make you wait long periods of time, they will lie right to your face and make false promises(even the owner), they pass the buck and play dumb, they don't keep all service records, and there is no communication between the departments. read more

I'd give it 0 stars but not an option! Buyer beware!! Dodged a bullet by not buying vehicle here. First off I am not someone who is angry because they couldn't work a deal and have no reason to be dishonest. We never got to walk into the place for the vehicle. They actively lied to us for two days. We were looking to purchase a Ford Explorer Sport (that I still have the sticker printout with the vin number and stock #T4265 the one listed on their site for asking sticker price with my 2013 trade in Escape. My husband called to inquire if it was available and he was told yes. They were closed wed evening for a staff meeting but we went to look at the vehicle anyways and it wasn't on the lot. So my husband called today and asked again about availability explaining that he went there the previous night and it was no where to be seen. He also then stated he was taking a day off work Friday to purchase this vehicle. The internet sales manager stated to him that the keys were right in front of her and it was in the other lot. So my husband drove up again this evening and didn't see it. So he did call back to state once again he was taking time off work to purchase this vehicle and were they sure it was available. Apparently the dealer had been using it as a demo and it had already been sold after that (but not today). The dealer was driving the other sport which was one we were not interested in. First off lying before your customer walks through the door is not proper way to do business. Secondly they do not value your time as he clearly stated more then once that he was taking time off work to essentially come look at a car that was not available! Car dealerships already have a bad name why add to it. Also they should clearly state that the car is being used as a demo because as far as I am concerned that increases the risk of dents, nicks, etc. and decreases the value. I understand people test drive the cars but there is a big difference between the two. I feel they have been very dishonest and have lost two customers with excellent credit, jobs, and were committed to buying. I just feel that people should be fully informed of all things. Would have been great to support a local business, but sadly I will no longer even use this place to get my oil changes and scheduled car care done on my current and future ford vehicles. So kudos to you Davies Ford for being dishonest and making the car buying process a nightmare before we even showed up. All you had to do was be honest and state it was sold. They were not even going to tell my husband until they were confronted with bottom line do you have it or not. The getting you in the door trick doesn't get you business when you have already been dishonest and your customer is angry. I did email the cooperate web page for ford under the appropriate form. I am one customer will it hurt their business absolutely not but if others are like me and want to be informed they do their homework before hand. Hopefully you won't have the experience we did but at least you are aware beforehand that they are either so disorganized that they don't know what vehicles are on their lot (which isn't that big) or delusional that they visualized keys that didn't exist or they are dishonest and don't value your time and just want to get you in the door. read more
