The question starting this review is, "What went well?" How about everything. I have never had a better buying experience. When I looked at the reviews, they were so good I thought they couldn't be real, but they certainly are. I went out tgere to buy an older Volvo. It was okay but certainly not a car anyone would have dreams of. In fact, it was old enough that financing would be problematic at best. They ended up getting me a late model Caddy SUV n uup that could be a car dreams are made of. To make it even sweeter, I am paying the same monthly payment that I was for a three year older MAZDA! I did have an issue with one of the warning lights coming on shortly after buying it. They had me take it to my mechanic and they made it 100% right. I couldn't recommend anyone any higher. Joe and Billie are heads and shoulders above the rest. Even if you have to travel to get there it is so worth your while to check out Tregembo Motors. I just bought my second vehicle in a row from here, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Just some background -- I don't usually buy cars by choice.  I use them for work, I'd prefer to drive them till the wheels fall off, and then when absolutely necessary, get another one.  For me, they're not a luxury -- they're part of the cost of living.   Tregembo Motors understood this, didn't at all upsell me, and found me the perfect car the first time. And when something completely unexpected went wrong with that car (the transmission of the Subaru was dying many, many miles before it should) they stood behind the purchase, got the car off my hands, and put me into a new one that I could afford.  And this took some doing -- there was a wholesaler involved, they had to buy out the bank note, and it took a weekend for them to even come up with a plan that would work.  But I was no longer drowning in failing old-car debt, and I was able to drive off the lot with the perfect used Buick. As I'm writing this, the cost of both used cars and parts to keep the old ones functioning are hitting record highs.  The cost of food and heating are hitting record highs.   I can't even say how much peace of mind an affordable car is now.  (That it's dark cherry red, handled today's weather like it was nothing, and has more safety features than I knew existed -- all bonus,) Bottom line is, I can't think of any business I've run across that cares this much about people.  If you have any reason at all to go looking for a car now, this is the place to do it. read more

Unprofessional do not care about others time at all!! I must not have met their standards to buy a vehicle from them my grandfathers car runs great (I will be taking the sticker off of the back with Tregembo on it). One time I go down common courtesy would have been to call since they knew I would be driving 45 minutes to get there claiming the "system was down" that whole day did not even call the next day I called some excuse so I wanted a 3rd row so I was waiting a few weeks to have all the money down I called Thursday said I would be in Saturday well they were going to be closed asked if we could come in Friday my mom took off the afternoon was getting off around 1:00 I said we will be down after that they said okay never mentioned having to leave early until I called saying we was on our way and wanted to make sure the "system wasn't down" again. No this time it's Well he all of a sudden has to leave early for a drs appointment at 3:30 don't worry I will never buy anything from y'all found a vehicle at the same price with half the miles on it everything happens for a reason. Never again, after me and my wife spend hours looking at a vehicle and was about ready to close asked about the tires on the vehicle, side tread was almost smooth but the inside was deep but not new, so Barry said he would take 250 off for two tires, what a insult, then when I ask if they could go maybe 800 less Barry Tregembo used strong curse words in front of my wife accused me of trading in junk and said nice you stopped, never again very rude owner. read more
