I'd give the North park (#1) the top spot for sure. This one would come in a close second. There's a regular old playground, the big long walking/ running path that passes the park, and even a small frolf course. The thing I found the coolest about the middle park, though, is that there is a "bike repair" station-- literally a little post that has wrenches, a tire pump, and all kind of other tools and gadgets to fix any kind of issue your bike may have, all free of charge. Pretty neat if you ask me!

Tharaldson Park is the set of baseball fields right across the street from the Red River Zoo in…read moreFargo. There are also softball fields connected (deemed Anderson Complex). It's a pretty nice and spread out area. The fields are pretty well maintained and as soon as the weather allows, there are people constantly using them all day and night, for baseball young and old and slow pitch games. One downside is that hardly any of the fields have score boards. I always hate as a spectator or player not having that visual of the score, pitch count and progress through the game. But there are bathrooms and sometimes a concession depending on the day. Parking can also be a pain if you don't get there early.

Totally worth the 10 minute drive off I-94 if you want more than just…read morea rest area (the scenic paved loop around the reservoir gets you 2500 steps toward your daily goal). Escape rooms can really vary in their quality and the effort put into the creation of the rooms, but overall I think they did really well with these. My favorite one I've done here is the Museum of Terror room- such a cool storyline and sooo fun to try and stake the vampire before time runs out! The Ghost Story room is really tough, and the Time Machine is also a ton of fun! Fargo doesn't have a ton of escape rooms but this is still one of the best choices! I believe they have a sister business called the Fargo Escape Room- you need to try one if you haven't so you understand the addiction!!
