Mini golf is the only thing I can speak to. Wasn't great. All the holes are susceptible to the wind, and they're not quite maintained very well. The highway is very close so you can hear that all the time. read more

We really had the best time here. It's easy to get to the prices are reasonable and the kids really had a good time. There are batting cages, mini golf, go karts, bumper cars, arcade, laser tag... And there's shade outside which is the best part if you're a spectator... I think we happen to catch a really good deal because we were just in town for a couple of days... Wednesdays it was an unlimited ride deal for $30 from 12 to 3 which we very much took advantage. Cute place to spend a lot of money. Not overpriced but typical for a family fun center. The putt putt was really cool. Some stranger gave as a BOGO coupon she wasn't going to use so that helped with the cost. Also appreciated all the sanitizers stations. read more

Ran up here over Memorial Day weekend with my siblings and in-laws to play a round of mini-golf (group of 10). Course layout is nice, no gimmicky mini-golf obstacles to putt through. Hills, slopes, water hazards and other course obstacles. Greens and grounds are well maintained. Arrived later in the evening and place wasn't busy - a couple other groups playing - no one behind us. The only negative was that we are all putting on the last hole and the staff turned off the lights - REALLY? I mean they knew we were on the last hole. Seemed unnecessary - at tops we could have been like 3 mins to play the hole and leave. Fortunately it's ND in June so was still light enough to finish play but still. We'll still return to play in the future (maybe until TopGolf is open). read more

We were there for a child's birthday. What should and would have been a positive experience for everyone was hampered by an employee screaming at me from across the business establishment. She was a young lady and I tried talking to her rationally but she was over the top. She was bad mouthing us in front of other customers, screaming at me and basically ruined the entire experience for us. This is super unfortunate. Then, the owner, who could have solved the problem, defended her actions. Apparently. it's okay in his eyes for the employees to scream at and bad mouth their customers. He tried to shame me for quietly asking her about the badmouthing is in front of other customers, saying, "Well, if you hadn't asked her about that, she wouldn't have been screaming at you. Absolutely awful experience. My 11 year old daughter was having trouble with her go kart and the worker was SCREAMING at her. When she asked to please just let her out after another screaming session at my child, he refused. Terribly ran business. The management actually tried to blame an 11 year old girl instead of holding accountability to their employee for screaming and traumatizing a child. No family fun to be found here read more

My time at Thunder Road was lots of fun. Whenever I'm on vacation I make it a point of playing miniature golf at least once. While I didn't have one of my better games on this day. It was a good time for me. An awesome mini-golf course. There are two 18 hole courses together. Reliving my teenage years, I played Skee-Ball and pinball for the first time in decades. I felt old when a few kids asked me what pinball was? While the place is geared towards the younger crowd. Adults can still have fun here. If you don't like being around a bunch of noisy kids. Thunder Road was 'ok' ~ for the moment. We got on the go karts, and it was a cheap ride for a cheap run. 5 dollars for 5 minutes for a run that wasn't worth it. I ran around the track, but no bumping was allowed? Hmmm well maybe the kiddies should have their own track. The putt putt course was NOT amazing, AT ALL. The grounds were not maintained, and the last two holes were just merely there to end the course. You would expect them to make them complicated so its a challenge. But they're not. All in all.... I would come back here for a go kart ride, when I have my infant with me. Cheap rates, get you just that ~ a cheap ride. read more

Thunder Road has a very large variety of things to do; Go-Karts, Laser Tag, a Batting Cage, Bumper Cars, a Huge Arcade (with tickets and prizes), and 2 18 hole Mini Golf courses with water, tubes, and other elements. It is one of the best sources of entertainment in the Fargo/Moorhead area, you can have birthday parties there too. It can get a little spendy, but there are buy one get one coupons in the newspapers fairly often. Overall a great place to go with the family for Summer fun. read more

Have played 2-3 rounds of mini golf here over the last 5 years. Club selection is adequate. Ball selection is good. They have many colors. Course design is creative. Good variety of holes on 2 full courses of 18 holes. Some involve water. Getting a hole in 1 is difficult. This course is not for duffers. Bring your A game. Beautiful natural setting. Active volcano dominates the landscape. Many natural sprin bubble up around the course. Sweet hum of I-29. Will definitely be back. read more

The laser tag was so much fun as well as mini golf. The bumper cars were very small and was not worth riding. The employees there were amazing! When we lost a necklace in laser tag, they stopped-no one was in there-to look for it and found it! I would recommend this place to others, the laser tag was just awesome! No one was there except our group so we had the whole place to ourselves too! read more

I could be there all day the only thing I don't like is the price it extremely expensive and the lazer tag is fun but.... What a joke. Used to be a normal arcade and really fun, now u have to buy tokens on a prepaid card, realize only a few machines take tokens and lose all your money and not get any tickets, kids crying and went home. Wow what a joke with the glued shut token machines that now use a card.OK. Never again read more

This place is like your fat aunt that comes to visit on holidays. You only see it once a year and it makes touches you sometimes. I play mini golf and laser tag every time I go and it's a ball! The "new" laser tag game they created was a disappointment. One of the main reasons people play laser tag is to beat their friends. We finished our game and asked for our scores and were told, "oh, you should have looked at your gun before you hung up your vest. All the scores are erased now". what?? It sure would have been nice to know that before we took off our vest! A tip to Thunder Road, put in a real laser tag game that spits out a piece of paper with your score as soon as you exit. The score will show how many people you hit and how many times you got hit. I'll never play laser tag there again. read more
