I told her that I did and I also paid the upfront charge of $50 to just make the appointment with them because we were new to the practice. She yelled we charge that because people just don't show up. I told her I don't do that. She asked me who I talked to. I said I didn't know because I didn't ask who it was. And I told her I had left a msg to cancel the other appointment. She then argued with me about all this & I said. U know what. Just send them home. U don't need to see my dog. When my husband came home he told me she came in the room and slammed the door open and said they are leaving. He said the vet kept talking and she kept trying to make him stop talking. My husband just said I'm leaving. I did hear bad things about them in the past from people that had been there. But I thought I would try. Very unprofessional. I don't know why anyone would go there. My cat was very shy and scared of people, and would hiss and back into a corner. Prior to meeting Dr. Davis, my experience with vets was mostly them being very hands-off and not particularly thrilled to handle a scaredy cat. The very first time I met Dr. Davis and saw how she interacted with my cat, I was so touched. She spoke to her in a soft, sweet voice and wasn't afraid to touch or assess her. She handled my poor girl so gently and kindly. I knew I would never go anywhere else. The staff is also extremely kind and incredibly accomodating. They always got me in and while I sometimes had to wait a bit in the room before the doctor arrived, I also recognize that Dr. Davis took her time and provided thorough care to her patients. I never waited an unreasonable amount of time. The staff was very helpful in helping me get special food when I needed it and communicating about any changes in procedure to the office. The cost for care her is very reasonable and transparent. Anytime my cat had health issues, they were able to get us in relatively quickly. Doctor was also proactive in suggesting medications and care to improve my baby's quality of life as she reached her last few years and began to develop more health issues. On the day my poor girl became very ill, I called the office for an emergency visit. Dr. Davis was performing surgery on another animal, and the surgery was anticipated to continue for at least another hour or two. The staff told me they would talk to her and call me back. Within a few minutes, Dr. Davis called me herseld and explained apologetically that she would not be able to see my cat right away and based on her presentation, the doctor did not feel that my girl had the time to wait for her to become available. She was incredibly kind, soft, and compassionate while suggesting a differe t animal hospital. I took her advice and took my girl to the other hospital where she was taken care of promptly and treated very kindly and with dignity in her last moments of life. Even in the end, it was Dr. Davis's guidance that helped me give my cat a peaceful end instead of her suffering at home. I am beyond grateful for how my cat and myself were treated her and I hope to return to the practice when I'm ready for another pet. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Aside from the 18 page sales agreement that is overreach at its best and insanity at its worst. "If the puppy or dog is found to be allowed running freely or creating a public nuisance, the breeder has all rights to repossess the puppy from dog wardens, SPCA, rescues, etc." So if, dog forbid, something horrible happens and your dog gets out, she expects you to sign a document that she can take your dog? Then, there are unspecified other instances like "If the puppy or dog is found to be neglected, abused or allowed to live in poor living conditions, the breeder has all rights to repossession of this pet with no refund." So, if she feels that his nails are long, she could take your dog? How about if your dog appears too thin or too fat? There is no way to know what that means because the contract is non-specific and you are not allowed to ask questiions or get any clarification on the contract or the response is "If there are many concerns, then maybe I am not the right breeder for you." The worst part is that you aren't done with this woman when you get your puppy because the contract requires that the "Buyer will send pictures and/or updates to the breeder periodically (minimum of once yearly) so the breeder knows the dog is doing well. This can be accomplished via text, email, or Facebook" and "The Breeder has the right to forbid/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party." So if something happens to me, I don't get to decide who gets my dog? It goes on and on under the guise of caring for the best interest of the dog. However, there is also a very specific food and supplement requirement. As it turns out, this food company pays a sales commission of 15% - 45% commissions plus additional bonuses. (this is my shocked face!) The breeder takes the liberty of setting up an account for you in your name with your address and email and adds over $200 of products to your cart (on repeat auto-ship) and you just have to put in your credit card information. One might leap to the conclusion that she is making money off the food she requires that you feed YOUR dog. She specifically mentioned that the puppy I was interested in bonded only with her. Several people visited and the puppy would not interact with them. He ran to me. I held him and he didn't want to go down. I noticed in a video, the way he interacted with the other pups that he was going to need some extra socialization and work to build his confidence so he didn't end up a fearful adult and mentioned that I had a plan for that. However, none of that was good enough because I refused to buy the $70 a bag dog food, and over $50 supplements that it certainly appears to me that she makes money on (for longer than the adjustment period to wean the pup to a new diet) and I had questions before signing a document that listed numerous reasons she could reposess my dog. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wish I did before I fell in love with the little guy that she won't sell to this dachshund Mum of 35 years with impeccable references.

If you are running an auction and are offered one of their sessions as a donation PLEASE do not accept. My parents in law bid on the family portrait session with the understanding that we would only receive one free desktop picture, however their prices for additional pictures are OUTRAGEOUS, and they have no digital option. In addition to what they donated to the auction, my parents in law ended up pay over a thousand dollars for ONE picture, which did not include framing or retouching. When we we doing the selection session the owner was dismissive and inattentive, and I watched as my mother-in-law almost came to tears. She was willing to pay for one extra family photo, as that's all that was in her budget, but there weren't many good photos of our whole family, mostly just of the individual children which they couldn't afford to purchase. The prices for their pictures are not transparent or available on the website, so we had no way of knowing what we were getting into when we bid on this ridiculous item. My parents in law gifted me the free desktop print, which we did not pay for additional retouching for, and it's awful quality. I got one of my sons and their cousins. The image is dull and blurry and the children's faces are poorly lit. My son's eyes aren't visible at all, and my other son's face is in shadow. It wasn't in my budget to pay HUNDREDS OF ADDITIONAL DOLLARS for retouching on a session that was meant to be a DONATION. I know Willow Street says they can't give out digitals because they make 'art,' but the quality of what I received was lower than the work I've seen by other local photographers who charge far less, and allow you to purchase digitals. I literally got pictures of my youngest taken at JC Penney recently that look better than what we've received from Willow Street. In my opinion, this donation was gifted to my son's school in bad faith, in order to get people through the door and extort money from them. If you're considering family pictures save your money and hire another local photographer, who will allow you access to all your images and who is upfront and transparent about pricing. The only bright side is the photographers who work for the owner were very nice. I hope they all get better jobs.
