I've been eying their cloaks for some time - and finally bought one a few years ago from their booth at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. They did not have what I wanted on hand - so I placed an order for a custom full length wool cloak with yoke - in green and black. I bought the cloak about four years ago - but the cloak is so warm - I've never had an opportunity to wear it to a renaissance festival as unless it is really cold out, I'd sweat wearing it. Well this past weekend was positively wet - and very, very cold and windy at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. And my Half Moon cloak finally got to make it's debut - and was it ever warm and comfortable - and is a really sharp looking cloak!

Went out for a 1-mile run and had to stop because they caused severe pain in both feet. I went in and asked for an even exchange and not my money back. They told me that their store policy is no returns if the shoe was worn outside. They are brand new shoes and they refused an even exchange for another pair. As you can see on the receipt, it clearly states 14-day return policy. Needless to say, I will never buy from this place again. I've never visited a shoe store with a 1-day no-return policy. I will be shopping in Carbondale's Independence Run and Hike store from now on. They have a reasonable return policy. I should have gone there in the first place. Lesson learned.

They even had a super small sale section in an upstairs annex as well as a rack out on the sidewalk with items discounted. The following day - before we went for a hike and headed out of town - my friend and I walked by on our way to coffee and I saw the dress I had purchased not more than 24 hours before discounted by 20%. I grabbed it and took it inside and asked the gal behind the counter if I could get a price match since I had just bought the exact dress. She said when they have two items or less they do that... they had two when I bought mine. She said she'd have to ask the manager/owner and I said, "Please do". Fortunately, she was right around the corner and she came over and easily said, "Of course I'll do that" and they refunded me $25. She was so nice. She said she totally understood and she was going to wear the same dress to a wedding that weekend. So friendly, and such an easy thing to do. Highly recommend. I went into a few of the other shops while here and no one was as easygoing and friendly as this shop.
