I've been eying their cloaks for some time - and finally bought one a few years ago from their booth at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. They did not have what I wanted on hand - so I placed an order for a custom full length wool cloak with yoke - in green and black. I bought the cloak about four years ago - but the cloak is so warm - I've never had an opportunity to wear it to a renaissance festival as unless it is really cold out, I'd sweat wearing it. Well this past weekend was positively wet - and very, very cold and windy at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. And my Half Moon cloak finally got to make it's debut - and was it ever warm and comfortable - and is a really sharp looking cloak!

I tried it on inside and easily made the choice bc there were only two left. This store has tons of cute items like shorts, t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, dresses, tanks, tops, shoes, jewelry, stickers, even cups and hats. They even had a super small sale section in an upstairs annex as well as a rack out on the sidewalk with items discounted. The following day - before we went for a hike and headed out of town - my friend and I walked by on our way to coffee and I saw the dress I had purchased not more than 24 hours before discounted by 20%. I grabbed it and took it inside and asked the gal behind the counter if I could get a price match since I had just bought the exact dress. She said when they have two items or less they do that... they had two when I bought mine. She said she'd have to ask the manager/owner and I said, "Please do". Fortunately, she was right around the corner and she came over and easily said, "Of course I'll do that" and they refunded me $25. She was so nice. She said she totally understood and she was going to wear the same dress to a wedding that weekend. So friendly, and such an easy thing to do. Highly recommend. I went into a few of the other shops while here and no one was as easygoing and friendly as this shop.

They had an awesome 50% off sale and I walked out with three beautiful items including a striped long sleeve shirt and a beige 100% wool long sweater with warm colored stripes, both of which look different than anything I've seen for purchase online or in any other stores. I also got a nice pair of green khaki shorts I can wear hiking or as every day casual digs. The sweater is so beautiful and warm with high quality wool that doesn't itch. The owner gave my two elementary ages kids a thorough and interesting demonstration on how to weave and how their fabrics were made.
