Davis Estates is a nice apartment community. The price is affordable and the staff is easy to work with. The size of the apartments is larger than most other places. I love my two bedroom apartment and the private balcony. read more

You know this place is a dump when the tax credit/section 8 properties in town are way nicer and better than this place! The buildings are run down and the owners, MRD, won't put any money into fixing the place up and making it livable. I feel like a refugee in a war torn country here. The maintenance here is a joke and the property manager is beyond in way over her head. Oh, there's a camera and microphone in the office and anyone at corporate can log in and watch and listen to what's going on in the office. It's bad when you have to spy on your property management team at a property. I'd give this place negative stars if it were permissible. Avoid this dump at all costs. read more

Never, ever, EVER rent from these people. The place is crawling with brown recluse and management is never in the office or answers calls. And for all that bull you'd expect them to be cheap, right? Wrong. One of the most expensive places in town. Do yourself a favor and run far away! read more

They didn't inform us of the pet deposit when we moved it. We were shocked that it was $300 per cat. So $600 for both and to top off there is an additional $15 per cat a month on top of the rent. Resulting in a rent of $615 per month. We had no idea that they did monthly cleanliness inspections when we first moved here. They have been in our apartment at least twice a month since we moved here. (If my son has his toys in the living room floor during the day, so be it.) This last month it has been 5 times. It's very annoying. Then to top off we can hear our neighbors talking in their apartments, and hear the upstairs neighbors walking around above. It's been loud and privacy is almost non-existent. Even the landlord has commented that my son "is a sugar addict and you can tell with the wild look in his eyes when he comes down to the office. You need to stop giving him sugar and I know everything in your apartment. And stop giving him fast food." She rolls her eyes when she sees his toys in the floor. I would suggest living somewhere else. This place has strict rules of how to keep your apartment clean and inspect it all the time. No toys in the floor, no clutter, the lights put in a certain way, it's just awful. read more

I would do ZERO stars if allowed. This place isn't taken care of. the owner (MRD) should be designated as a Slum Lord, because that is exactly what this place is: A SLUM! Every time they get a halfway decent property manager who wants to take care of the place they are fired because they dare to spend money in trying to fix the place. Current management is a joke. The hallways smell and are dingy. The units are cheaply constructed and even more cheaply cared for. The Tax Credit/Section 8 property in town is better than this dump! Do NOT for any reason lease here. You'll regret it PLUS they have a "policy" of finding at least $100 in "damages" when you go to move out so they can keep part of your Security Deposit. I learned this from a former Manager who is the one that got the huge hole in the parking lot repaired up by building 1 before they canned him for having it fixed. AVOID this place. read more
