My husband called Ideal to see if someone could come out to take measurements and give us an estimate. The business owner came out the same day. He arrived earlier than he had promised, and emailed us a typed detailed estimate (itemized down to the number of posts, gate hinges, latches, labor, etc.). Even better, they accept credit cards and payment occurs after the entire job is complete. We had multiple quotes for the job, but decided on Ideal due to their professionalism, promptness, recommendations from friends, and pricing. The work they've done around town looks great, too! We decided on a 6' cedar privacy fence with treated posts. As for the install, Ideal set up all of the locate services for the utilities the day before they were going to arrive. They showed up early and set posts the first day. On Day 2, they finished setting the rest of the posts and started framing. Day 3 was more framing and pickets, and Day 4 was the rest of the pickets and gate construction, finishing work, and clean up. We had about 400 linear feet of fencing, so this was a large project. During the installation: the crew was incredibly detail-oriented, professional (wore company shirts), organized, and respectful. The area that they were working was always tidy and clean. I was happily surprised to see that the business owner was there every day! He made sure everything looked perfect. After the job was complete, the owner came back to walk through & make sure we were happy with the completed fence. We paid the exact amount that was estimated and the job was completed on schedule. I'm a very happy customer!

We bought a defective dishwasher, which destroyed the hardwood floor in our kitchen. The manufacturer belligerently gave us the runaround for nine months. We had everything ready and waiting... but nothing. Through that time, we touched base with the ServiceMaster team to let them know we weren't ghosting them. They were kind and patient. Finally we gave up and filed a homeowner's claim, and Jordan and Erin were able to work with State Farm to get them everything they needed. They were patient with us and, when we were really unsure of what flooring to go with, dropped off two different rounds of samples. Finally, with everything set up, the installers came and demo'd everything and started laying the new floor on Monday -finishing early Tuesday afternoon We are blown away. Not only has everyone from ServiceMaster been friendly, they literally make us feel like family. These are people you should want to do business with. Their flooring people? Fantastic! They showed such care in everything that they did and worked to lessen the disruption caused by having flooring put in while I was working downstairs. Not only were they a pleasure to deal with, but I have a deep sense of respect for their work ethic. In closing, my wife and I are profoundly grateful to the entire ServiceMaster family. I was sent updates throughout the time work was being done and had a good experience in terms of swift communication. I was going to get multiple quotes but due to the lack of timely communication from other contractors I went with Heartland! The bathroom was tiled and grouted it turned out even and Symmetric. Very pleased with how it turned out There was an opening between the bedroom and bathroom left over from the removal of a small closet. The new wall installed was finished to match the texturing of our bedroom! Lastly, we needed a new doorway cut out in our bedroom wall for a closet. The doorway is very nicely finished, clearly he took time on the installation. My only complaint is there was no threshold installed but as it is a closet door that's not a big deal. The thing I am most pleased about is there was some pre existing drywall damage in the bathroom. It was near where the new wall way getting installed. The damage was a 3" gap along the wall and ceiling. To my surprise that got repaired courtesy of Heartland. I was not expecting this to get repaired as it was not there during the initial quoting process. While getting a little extra drywall repaired may seem like something to be shrugged off, I think it attests to the overall character, and work quality that that Heartland offers.
