I was told just to bring my dog in and they would take care of her. My dog is 15lbs. A small terrier. Super simple. 2 hours max to wash and cut her since she's very chill and small with short hair. Figured since they had no appointment system they had it down to a science to get pets in and out. I was mistaken. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am. When I walked in, it was pure chaos. Dogs in cages packed in the front crying and barking. It's typical for a groomer to have dogs in kennels while they wait to be groomed or picked up but not in the front? Super strange. When I was greeted it was very transactional. Fine. I didn't ask questions and I felt like it wouldn't be long with her. We never waited more than 3 hours for our dog start to finish. 4 hours went by and no call. Super odd so my wife called in. Told her she wasn't ready yet. So we call again at 2:40 and the lady was rude to my wife and told her "she will be ready when she's ready and we will call you when she is". That right there should have been when we decided to just go and pick her up. Mind you I can guarantee she sat in the same damn cage all day with no water and no chance to go outside to pee or poop. I didn't pay for her to be kenneled up all day. Paid to be groomed. We figured at this point screw it, it really can't be that much longer. They know we have been calling and what could another 30-45 minutes do? We figured we would wait longer because it probably been a month overdue that our dog needed a grooming. Once again didn't trust our guts and feel bad for it. It was another 2 hours before she was ready. Over 7 hours to groom a small dog with short hair. What in the F? I truly hope this business fails. I work in the service industry and there's things that come with a service you pay for. An expectation for the service you are paying for and this place misses the mark by a million miles. So if you don't mind leaving your dog in a cage all day with people who don't care about your pet have at it, but if you do and do care for your pet unlike this business please look elsewhere. Make the drive elsewhere and spend the extra few bucks. You will thank your self and your pet will be happy you did.

We were told they don't do appointments, it is first come first serve. So we dropped her off at 9:30am. Yes there were other dogs there already, so we understand we weren't the first ones. I called twice in the afternoon as it had been a long time. (We have lived in many places so we have been to many groomers, none of which ever took longer than 3 hours at most). Both times I called, they sounded annoyed that I was asking if she was done, with a snooty tone. We waited until 4:45pm until she was ready. Over SEVEN HOURS. Most of that time I guarantee they are locked in a cage with no water or access to go potty. Our dog also has anxiety so that doesn't help that they had her locked up all day long. If a company refuses appointments, they need to make each customer aware of the approximate time that they pet will be done, so the customer can decide if they are willing to leave their pet there all day long. If they cannot do that, they need to accept appointments so they can stay on schedule and not have dogs locked up all day long in cages with customers wondering what's going on and when their pet will be done. It's completely unacceptable to have them locked up most of the business day, and knowingly take them in with no groom time in sight. And to have an attitude when customers call to inquire about their pet. Never again will we return there for a grooming. This has been the worst experience we have had with groomers (and we have been to many). On top of all this, our dog is now extremely thirsty and all worked up with anxiety because of their bad business practices. This place is a MESS.

I know she doesn't like it but she doesn't bite, just squirms. BUT we didn't have that issue at Doggie Doos. In fact; like the groomer we used to use in our old hometown, they declared my dog delightful and "so sweet." Her clip was even, nails were cut short and filed and her bows even stayed in about a week, a near record for my active girl. Definitely our new go-to groomers!

On a recent road trip (coming back from a family funeral out of state), our dog was in (what we…read morelater came to understand was likely cardiac) distress. We made an emergency stop at Animal Care Clinic (it was the closest to where we were on I-45). In a whirlwind of panic, we brought her in. The ENTIRE staff stopped what they were doing, rushed to our aid, and began trying to save our girl. Sadly, our fur baby passed and we were forced to finish our multi-hour drive home without her. Today, in the mail, we received the most incredible and thoughtful gesture. The staff of Animal Care Clinic signed a sympathy card and included our baby's paw prints with it. They also included a seed card to allow us to plant flowers in remembrance of our girl. We are not their customers. We have never given them business - they did not even charge us for the work they did while we were there. We will probably never see them again...And yet... This incredibly compassionate and dedicated staff saw fit to not only do everything they could to help strangers in need, they followed it up with a level of kindness and sympathy I have never experienced. THANK YOU! Thank you to each of you who tried to help. Thank you for allowing us the gift of time to grieve in your exam room (displacing the many other people waiting in your lobby). Thank you to each of you who signed the card. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. We can never repay your kindness.
