They are a little expensive but then I think all garden centres are really and you are paying for the browsing experience and the service which on this occassion is very good. I have twice had problems with things I have bought from them (outside of their control) and they have been very helpful and prompt in their willingness to help which makes a nice change from some garden centres I've visited and all done with a smile. In a nutshell - a bit expensive but worth the extra for the good customer service and good ambience.

For a simple ham sandwich was £8 that's crazy in my opinion and for four meals came up to around £50. The value of the food wasn't great with small selection and food coming out cold or without key parts of the meal missing and repeatedly getting the order wrong. I could've made the same meal for less then half then what that came up to. The general value of the garden center wasn't great either with majority of the selection was something I've seen ten times before or too expensive to even afford to to look at after that meal! I chose Fay because she was one of the few florists who was happy for us to repurpose flowers throughout the day (taking them from the aisle to table decorations during the reception) rather than having to order more flowers. Fay was always patient with my numerous questions and the results were just incredible. I absolutely loved the flowers on our wedding day and Fay took my vision and made it even better, they really were breathtaking. I would highly recommend Fay!

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff in both the garden and aquarium centre. I can recommend the gardening bit as I have never grown any vegetables and with the advice from 1 of the staff this year managed to grow a bumper crop of tomatoes and lettuces in my kitchen window. They also have a pretty good stock of tropical fish and all the bits and pieces that you need to successfully run a tank. My mum also informs me that the outdoor pond bit is very good too. Monnow Mowers took over servicing of my ride-on mower 2 years ago, firstly to replace a part that…read morethe previous servicing company had replaced 4 or 5 times, but kept failing. The part has not failed since Mpnnow Mowers replaced it. My mower was old and second (or third!) hand when I bought it, and whenever it has gone wrong Monnow Mowers have been quick to collect and repair or repair on site. The charges have been very reasonable. Finally, since I decided to replace that old mower (nearly 15yrs old), Monnow Mowers managed to get me a brand new one at very close to cost price, and found a buyer for my old machine for about £1000 more than a trade in offer I had received elsewhere. Highly recommended.
