We have watched them build crates to exact specifications and pack our family for an overseas move with such incredible care. We have also engaged them for a stateside move and seen the exact same attention to detail that was given to our overseas move. Most recently, we have rejoiced when a cancellation in a packed schedule resulted in a personal phone call from Tim Lee, one of the owners of Coastal Transfer and Storage, offering the date to us for the move of my 82 year-old, widowed Mama who needed to move from her home of 52 years. Trevor came out, inspected my entire property and then had a very high priced worksheet already filled out in clear view. He offered zero compelling reasons for nearly $1,000 to power wash my small 1300 sq ft home, roof, fence, and minimal cleaning of new gutters that have the leaf guard mesh. I had 3 other quotes from reliable competitors that showed and even explained that all I TRULY needed was one wall, the gutters are minimal and that was it! I was so impressed with the consistency of the quotes from what I felt was more honest providers that I also gave them my business for power washing my concrete. And I'm only paying $275. "The value of anything is relative, NOT absolute." He demonstrated zero value and thus I couldn't justify the expense. Create the WANT and the TRUST and cost often becomes the smallest part of the conversation. Additionally, when I blatantly declined, he simply said, "Ok" and left. Didn't bother to understand my response which further told me he didn't care about my wants or needs.

As you can see in my screenshot, it felt like this company just wants your money, and no questions are allowed. I was genuinely shocked by the responses. The screenshot shows my second question after this person couldn't even answer the first one. All I wanted to know was how they do the installation so I could make the right decision. Instead, this person came back basically saying they didn't want to answer any technical questions, in a very rude way, plus the conspiracy theory that "I am in the industry." Apparently, asking about backsplash installation accidentally activated the Countertop Intelligence Agency. From the beginning, when I communicated with this person, I could tell they were annoyed when I asked what materials they use and what options they offer. It felt like this person just wanted to sell me something quickly. Well, that's not how it works when you're spending a few thousand dollars on countertops and backsplash. These are basic questions. I guess I'll have to put my money somewhere else. Sad, because they seem to do a good job and most people seem happy with them.
