The wife and I recently visited Flooring Plus about having the flooring in our home replaced. We were greeted by Joel McGalliard who was extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. Our dilemma was that our newly built for us 6 year old home with porcelain tile had suffered some settlement cracks, which also cracked our floor tiles. After being shown our options and Joel making some great suggestions, we settled on a beautiful new style laminate flooring. The crew that was sent to our home for the flooring install was led by a gentleman named Jeremy who was awesome and took great pride in his work. They worked very clean and meticulously, as if it were their home they were putting flooring down in. We can not possibly explain just how happy and pleased we are with the entire process. Stay away from this company!!,, Flooring plus installed a backsplash and it's an absolute disaster. The Hispanic supervisor lacks the education of right materials to use as well as how to properly install a backsplash.This will not pass inspection upon selling my house.Corners are protruding from wall, sharp edges not sealed correctly. Using grout instead of caulking. Thick layer of grout running across the surface of the wall. Now I'm left with having to replace/repair if possible. read more

Working with Marty and crew has been great. Went in and explained what flooring I needed and been told by others it was hard to get Marty called his supplier and said it was no problem but it would may be a couple of weeks. He came out the next day measured the rooms I needed done and called later in the day with cost. I told him we would do it as it was to be same flooring as the rest of house. Eleven days from date we first talked the flooring was here and was installed yesterday. In this time of covid getting it that fast was amazing. The floor looks great and his crew was courteous, and knew what they were doing. They helped move the heavy furniture and completed the three rooms including putting furniture back in 5 hours. They cleaned the floors before furniture went in and cleaned up all other signs that they were there. Thank you! read more

I should have read the recent reviews and stayed away! Just moved here and looking to change out all the carpet in the house with a clean wood product. Tibbs assured us that they had plenty of stock of the product we selected. He scheduled an on site review of the house to get final measurements several days later to determine final quote. All along we were told that everything was a go and had even established install dates after the painting of our house was to be completed. Later that afternoon, I get a call from Flooring Plus only to inform me they did not have the stock in house for the product and color. Of course, they offered other colors or products I'm sure at a higher price. Flooring Plus blew what was well over a $20k job!!! I went to a competitor in Myrtle Beach and the sales associate called direct to the distributor to confirm they had the product in house and put a hold on the sf amount he thought would be necessary. I also had hardwood floor installed by Flooring Plus. I also have had issues and have chased them for almost 2 years. They duck and hide and showing no responsibility for for selling the cheapest floors ever for the highest price ever. They are not solid wood, they have wood on top and filler inside. Like Linda P my chairs have made indents, the dog just walking is scratching them up like crazy. I have has wood floors in every home and the same dog and these floors are crap, so is this company. At least stand up and acknowledge you sell cheap crap and fix it. Do yourself a favor and stay away! read more

It's probably been about a year ago that I should have put in my review, but here goes. Remember the movie Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts? The one phrase comes to mind for this business is "BIG MISTAKE, BIG MISTAKE!" My husband and I went in to look for carpeting 2 bedrooms, wood flooring for another very large bedroom, and wood tile for the kitchen, kitchen area, dining room, and living room, closets, and hallways. We walked in and got the up and down look. We were wearing shorts and tops. Nothing sleezy, it was very hot outside. I was wearing sandals and he shoes. The lady said someone would be right out to help. We walked for maybe 15 or more minutes and walked out. Is this how you run your business? Oh and we have a sunroom that we didn't really know if we wanted to stick with wood floors or go with tile. We wanted to live a little with the wood to see if it was good before we either repair the floor or replace. If you don't want local homeowners then should you not have a sign or say something? Now I don't know if you all are a chain or local, but we went with Home Depot. We were trying to help the local companies as much as possible from the Covid hit. We recently renovated a house in Mt. Gilead and entrusted Flooring Plus with all of the bathrooms (tile floors and showers), the kitchen and the flooring throughout the house. They were able to find the exact tile I had selected from pictures found online, and the installation was impeccable. We have two large Italian mastiffs, and at John's recommendation we went the CoreTec Plus flooring. It is waterproof, scratch proof (not a scratch from dog claws to be found 6 months in), and so easy to keep clean. We couldn't be happier. We have a condo on the beach and previously had a laminate floor. After 5 years it started to curl at the seams. We went to Flooring Plus where Ted Garris listened to our problem. He suggested Shaw flooring which is a water proof flooring ideal for the beach area. We agreed on a start date which was 2 months away. We explained that we come from out of state and wanted to be there for the completion of the project(all the floors in the condo). We verified the start date several days prior to our coming to the beach. When we arrived at the condo we found that most of the work was completed, due to a hurricane they were delayed a day. The workers who were assigned to our project were very professional and friendly. They worked fast and took care to do the job correctly. The job took just over 4 days to complete and we couldn't be more pleased with the installation and the installation crew. John, our salesman, was very attentive and helpful in the tile and grout selections. When we were looking for a flooring supplier/contractor to update our recently purchased beach condo, Flooring Plus was recommended by our rental agency. They had recently had their flooring replaced by FP who had done a great job. We had a certain product in mind, but after discussing our budget and the look we were going for with our salesperson, John, he recommended another product that he felt would work better for our needs and within our budget. And he was right. The entire process was seamless; John helped us select the exact product for our condo, he came to our home and measured, supplied us with a quote after which we chose an install date. The work was done on time while we were away, and we returned home to a beautiful new floor. Before, during and after the install, John was always available when we had questions. My husband built a new house 2012 in Murrells Inlet and all the flooring was done by Flooring Plus. We have hardwood flooring in our den and hallway. The hardwood started bowing up on the ends only months after moving in. We went round and round with Flooring Plus. Finally, they replace the flooring in 2015. Now we have other issues with the new hardwood flooring. In some places where our love seat sits (has been there since day one) the wood has crushed - it's like the wood is hollow and the weigh of the loveseat just went thru it. My husband went up there in January 2016 and told the owner & showed him pictures of this. He said he has never seen such a thing and they would replace it. As of today, 4/5/16, we have not heard one word from them. Getting ready to contact the Builder, Bill Clark and the BBB. Would never do business with this company again. This place is a sub-contract for Bill Clark. We have spoken to many neighbors and they have had the same experience with Flooring Plus. No sure if they are selling really CHEAP Material and over charging for them. read more
