After removal of downed tree, stump grinding and fence repair was needed. When asked about costs,…read moreJohn Andrade responded that stump grinding was $4/inch and not to worry , that they would take care of us. Two workers arrived and ground the stump and repaired the fence. The bill was submitted for $1800 for stump grinding and $500 for fence repair. Neither joSb was completed satisfactorily. I contacted John and he came with a second group that corrected the problems. When asked about the high price for Stump grinding, John gave several explanations that made no sense. After much discussion, he finally agreed to rebate $900 in two weeks. That was 3 weeks ago. He has not responded to my texts and my phone calls to him go to voice mail.

On the initial visit, we talked about what branches needed to be removed. I received a verbal…read morequote from 1st Nations and another tree service. The other service was $600 less. He took $400 off of his quote. Instead of removing branches, the tree was trimmed. Eventually, what was trimmed is going to die and fall. Why would I want a branch with no leaves to stick out. It was also agreed upon that the branches would be cut into sizes that would fit into a fireplace. Needless to say, I will need to fire up my chainsaw to finish the job. Would not recommend this tree service. Two different workers did apologize after we complained about the job. I have a hard time attaching a dollar value on apologies.

What a great company to work with. The owner Tom is not only quick to get back to you, but is also…read moredoes meticulous work . You can tell that he takes great pride in in his profession and has such passion for landscaping. I look forward to working with him and his company again with making our yard the oasis we truly want. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for wonderful landscapers.

I entered into a contract with Revelation Lawn and Snow for snow removal for the 2021-22 winter…read moreseason at a rate of $38 per push. I noticed 2 higher charges - 1 in December and 1 in January. On the December invoice, it said that service date was billed at 1.5x the contracted rate. I inquired as to why I was billed for two services at 1.5x the contracted rate. Tom emailed me a "snow depth multiplier chart" which I had never seen before that outlined that he would charge up to 5x the contracted rate based on snow depth. I asked him to show me where on the contract this was written, and he admitted that it was not on the contract. I said that I would be happy to pay what was contractually agreed to but nothing more as he was legally obligated to notify me of such fees and did not. After some unpleasant back and forth, he refunded the overages and agreed to finish out the season at the $38 rate without hidden fees. I decided that I didn't want to work with Tom anymore (many back and forth emails where Tom insisted that his shady business practices were industry standard, and I was somehow unreasonable for wanting him to honor the contract as it was written), I found a new plow company to finish the season. Tom insisted that I mail him a "cancellation request" despite our contract being fraudulent. I obliged because I wanted him to leave me alone. After receiving my request, he informed me that there is a 30 day cancellation period to ensure a smooth transition (despite the fact that the new company had already begun plowing my drive). He is going to charge me $15 to drive past my driveway but NOT plow it, and I would be wise to comply otherwise he's going to take "legal action" against me. I responded saying that I don't and have never approved of this agreement. Despite that, I now have an invoice for $21 because he simply drove by my house on 2/14 when there was no snowfall, and charged me $16 instead of his stated $15 and an exorbitant $5 credit card fee!
