I came in genuinely excited to join Enclave and was fully prepared to leave with a paid…read moremembership--specifically for a dedicated desk setup. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I had scheduled what I thought would be an in-person tour, but instead was put on a call with a remote salesperson while I was physically standing inside the space. I repeatedly asked (three times) if I could speak with someone onsite, especially since I was told there was someone there who had seen me walk in--but no one ever came to greet me or assist. That alone felt very off. The experience felt extremely transactional and lacked any sense of community, which is surprising given that coworking spaces are supposed to be built around connection and belonging. There was no onboarding, no walkthrough of basics (I had to ask a member how to access the bathroom), no human interaction and no effort to make me feel welcomed. What really sealed it for me was the mismatch between what I was expecting and what was actually offered. I was interested in a dedicated desk, but this wasn't even available even though that's what their website says. Instead, what was explained to me over the phone was essentially an open shared table with no security, no assigned space, no lock, and no staff onsite - the salesperson suggested that I am welcome to leave my equipment there overnight, which didn't feel safe or practical at all--especially when it would take up shared space meant for others, which takes away from their experience. Also, the prices listed on their website are outdated, the salesperson on the call told me that flex coworking costs $150, so the $120 option they have on their website is not even a possibility. Smoke and mirrors. The space itself might look nice at a glance, but the overall experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. Even small details--like the lack of basic hospitality (and yes, even the coffee setup)--added to the impression that this is more of a self-serve rental space than a true coworking community. I walked in ready to join. I walked out feeling frustrated and disappointed. I'm not even interested in exploring the two week free trial.
