I had heard of shared spaces but wasn't sure if it would work. I shopped around looking at various shared spaces and decided to go with Co-Lab. It was the best deal out of all the different co-working places. Miguel was very accommodating, loved the idea of having an IT person on site, and was able to set up a space suitable for my type of business. The best part is that I'm saving so much money running my business from here verses renting an office alone and adding up the cost of Internet, Office supplies, furniture, etc. Co-Lab is in a vibrant area with lots of businesses nearby. I've been able to expand my clientele just by being in this location and still maintain my existing clients. My clients even commented on the space, saying that it's such an improvement compared to my old location. They love that we can meet in a professional conference room, complete with white board, and flat screen TV. I no longer have to worry about printer supplies, internet expense, electric bills, high rent, it's month to month, no risk or commitment and the free coffee is a nice touch! It's a full service, state of the art professional office space without the huge overhead of one. If you're looking for a place to run your business, or a cost effective way to begin your start-up, Co-Lab is the place. I look forward to attending some of the events/presentations, and am so glad to have a professional, peaceful and gorgeous space in which to work when home is a bit too loud. The space was well lit. The toilet was clean. One feedback is the noise isolation between private offices, but that's the problem with other co-working spaces in the area too. Very calming and peaceful which also matched the decor. The entire building is up to date and designed very well. The designs make you feel like 'yeah, this is going to be a nice getaway.' Haha! The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. They explained the layout of the hotel, where the gym was at and answered all the questions I had. They did a great job of welcoming us and making us feel at home. We like sleeping with low temps and thankfully their AC was able to handle our need of 67 degrees. We slept very well. This place has a top notch standard of cleanliness. Everything was spotless and smelled very good. The rooms look recently updated and they are stunning. I really love the design of them with the blue art pieces, so peaceful and beautiful. The bathrooms are bright and spacious, also stacked with soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Taking a shower feels like you're at a high end spa. The water pressure is great, strong but not too strong. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks so much for everything!

They can change the lighting to fit your theme, the audio/video system is out of this world, and the range of options through HYPE productions (incl. photo booth, dj/mc, music etc.) completely ices the cake for a perfect evening. It's hard to start describing how Loft21 is such a perfect venue, so let's start with the people. JuneElise, Loft21's event manager, is EXTREMELY helpful in guiding you along the way to a seamless event...she will answer any question you have, and deliver professional results quickly and efficiently...we did not sense this level of customer support at any other venue we shopped. Her attitude is great and you won't be disappointed. Secondly, the HYPE staff is incredibly entertaining, and our dance floor did not stop until the lights went on...they hit every corner of the music we requested and the MC, Adam, kept the party moving like a Mac truck... it was awesome, and we still get complements to this day. Jazmine, the owner, was quite involved with our planning as well, as she owns both HYPE and Loft21...so if you use both, you enjoy a discount and she was very clear on how the combined package saved us tons of cash. The atmosphere is so unique and stimulating... the bars are uber-modern with an industrial feel, the staff is incredibly well trained and friendly, the globo with your event logo shines on the wall, the preferred caterer they recommended was perfect (Marcellos!), the audio video incorporation is super cool, and we wished the night never ended!! Hence why Loft 21 is such a popular option for bar mitzvahs and other big events. If you have a 12/13 year old kid going thru the mitzvah circuit chances are you'll end up here. The venue itself is owned by Jazmine at Hype Productions. I haven't rented out Loft 21, but have hired Hype twice and been thrilled with everyone I"ve worked with over there so I"m guessing this is so exception. Jazmine is very on top of everything, which is perfect for my type A personality. While I highly recommend Hype for event production you can bring in others to the space. The bar mitzvah we attended this past weekend had Tenny from Flo as their MC. The space can easily be transformed and seems to work with any theme. And for those who don't want to go crazy with decor it's a pretty venue on it's own. They have a nice area upstairs for cocktails. People tend to congregate near the bar which can make it crowded so I recommend putting a food station (or extra bar) in the area separated off so that people spread out just a bit. This area also overlooks the ballroom so at the end of the cocktail hour they do a big reveal by showing the room down below, which is cool. The acoustics in the space aren't great and my biggest complaint is that I can't hear anyway near me while I"m there. I can also barely hear any speeches when I'm in the space. However, it works great for music, montages and anything else you need.

There was a exhibit that was being put up while we were there. There is a small gift shop where you can buy work by local artists. The receptionist on duty never welcomed us, spoke to us, or even looked up while we were there. This did not create an inviting atmosphere.
