Both boys have learned so much and enjoy everyday they go to school. We were having minor issues with potty training our 2 year old at home and once he started going here Angie had him excited to use the potty and pretty much trained within 2-3 weeks. I cannot praise this daycare enough for the care of the children along with all of the activities they do with them. Patty is very quick to respond when there are issues and is always willing to go above and beyond for a positive resolution. We trust this staff fully with both of our boys and highly recommend Children's Bright Beginnings!!

If you have lots of money, your child will be treated great. If you don't, well not so much. Most concerning is that there is a fair amount of bullying in the school on various levels: bullying between peers but also there are numerous instances of teachers bullying students. Strategically, they have been trying to build up their high school for a long time. It has not been a very successful effort and now they have resorted to manipulating grades (artificially deflating grades) to ensure children cannot easily transfer. NOTE: School's grading system is not easy to understand and its not consistent across classes or teachers independent of student's actual knowledge. If you have other viable option, don't give a second thought to this school. Run away!!!

He attended until he was school age and was well equipped for all that school presented socially, emotionally, and academically! He currently excels in standardized tests and reads far beyond grade level. Trips are offered for different age ranges, nature walks, and creative play in their wonderful backyard play area are just a few of the things they have to offer. The environment is very welcoming and nurturing is most definitely a strong suit at Honeybee's! I now have a toddler that attends and she has flourished into a very intelligent and inquisitive 1-year-old. They helped him learn to talk more with wonderful songs, colors and shapes in Acorns, drink out of an open top cup, potty training & clean up after himself (lunch and toys) in Sprouts, learn all his letters, numbers, writing, follow direction, independence and more in Discovery and Koala classes. Each classroom has an appropriate teacher-student ratio with colorful, private rooms each with their own personality. And during the pandemic, they have kept each child and staff member safe with their rules to protect and keep the mask mandate since the kids are too young to vaccinate. Mrs. Waters and his pre-K teachers have supported our son in most his special ed needs by allowing his private therapists to come to the school. He gets SLP & OT sessions in per week while aligning with his teachers to work with his therapists which help him transition from therapy back to gym or class time. This has been such a big help to know he is getting many of his needs met. That made it all the more meaningful to find a community that has been so warm, supportive, and genuinely invested in his growth. The engagement from everyone at Guidepost--from the teachers to the administrative staff--has meant a lot to our family. It's clear that the people there truly care about the children and work hard to create an environment where they feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. Watching our son blossom, gain confidence, and discover new things has been a wonderful experience, and we truly do not think it would have happened in the same way without Guidepost. Initially after we enrolled, there was some turbulence with administration earlier on (3 admin changes), but it really seems like those issues have been sorted out. The school feels welcoming, well-run, and focused on doing a great job serving the children in its care. That has given us a lot of reassurance and made us feel even better about being part of the Guidepost community. What we got was my seeing my daughter who is academically advanced being used as teacher's aide in a school that was understaffed. Instead of helping her learn she was constantly being told to help younger kids. She was also subjected to seeing her teachers become physical with her peers who didn't listen, by harshly putting them into chairs, grabbing them by the shoulders. I myself witnessed a Spanish teacher pull two boys into the hallway and slam one of them into a wall while yelling at them in Spanish. I believe this happened because the teachers are all running classrooms without the proper student to teacher ratio so they are frustrated and stressed. That teacher told me she was in the room alone and the boys were acting out. We finally took our daughter out of the school when she started coming home with scratches and bruises on her body and the staff did nothing about it. There were two boys in her classroom who were physical with the other kids and the teacher had no control. Their director even pulled the video tapes from the classroom and verified to me that my daughter was telling the truth about these boys but their only resolution was to "give the teacher more training". These boys were wild and out of control. Overall it was a total waste of our money. The only positive was some of the other wonderful families we met there (most of whom are also pulling their kids out). This school was much better when it had a different head of school. It is very unfortunate because they have some great kids and a few great teachers but they are all so unsupported and staff turn over is very high.

The staff treat all the kids and parents like family. They strive to provide a solid fundamental education (including homework help afterschool) as well as fun activities through out the year. My DD is always excited when there is no "school" and she gets to spend the full day at Sunnyside! You should absolutely check them out if you're in search of a wonderful daycare!
