The floors were filthy and there was a build up of filth along the floors especially in the bathroom. BLUF: DO NOT come here! I figured I could drive straight through so I wouldn't have to deal with an experience like this one. Unfortunately, it was getting in the wee hours of the morning and there wasn't enough coffee and Red Bull to keep me going for another 6 hours, I needed a rest. Pulled into the lobby to hear just a bunch of noise. Apparently the hotel bar has an after hours license. I checked in and was given a room key, walked up the stairs to find, the sink torn out of the wall, apparently, the room was being renovated. Walked back downstairs, given another room key, someone else's stuff was in it. Literally double-booked. I suppose I could have waited to see the stuff that sitcoms are made of but I walked back downstairs. I really needed to just go to sleep so I went back down a THIRD time and the third room had a saw horse in it. Yet ANOTHER room that was literally not ready for human habitation. At this point, I was done, went back to the front desk and told the night clerk and said I just wanted a refund. He had to call the owner to understand how to do a charge back and while he was going through it mentioned another hotel down the road that was better than this one and said he was just working here because he needed the money. I was too tired to really remember the name of the other place he recommended so I waited to cross into another state before I decided to crash. read more

Walked in here to make a reservation and there was no one at the front desk. Waited for about 5mins before the host came out and honestly I don't remember if I got an apology. The service was ok after that. I received a voucher for free breakfast from the adjoining restaurant, the room set up was nice, the bathroom was motel standard, the air conditioning unit was loud and vibrated so hard that the room was shaking. The pool is located outside in the front facing the street which is weird but anyway I decided I was going for a swim. Put on my swimwear and went to the pool only to see that it was locked up with chains and quickly realized why. The water was green and there were insects and moss floating on top. Gross!!! We stay at Days Inn properties often. We are retired, so they are usually a good value. However, While the front of this property looks pretty good, the grounds and especially the curb area in front of our room (and all others in back -- was filled with trash. There were dozens of cigarette butts on the sidewalk. While searching for THE ice machine I noticed weeds everywhere, cigarette packs and beer bottles on the ground in areas around the pool -- the pool itself did not appear to have been cleaned recently. There was thick dirt atop all the external elements of the room ACs. Sidewalks were dirty and pocked with discarded chewing gum. Had we toured this property before checking in, we might have gone elsewhere. Very sad to see someone's investment so uncared for and a member of an organization we like looking so dilapidated. read more

I stayed at this hotel with my dog while on a cross-country road-trip. The staff that checked me in was very nice, but also very confused about how to process my pet fee. The first room she put me in was on the back side of the building, for which I didn't stay long. There was someone sitting outside in their car playing loud music and the another gentleman sitting in his doorway smoking a cigarette. The second room she moved me too was on the front side of the building, and a little better. The rooms are large, and feature a living area with a table and chairs. The bed was marginally comfortable, but more importantly, clean. The room overall was clean, but did have an old and outdated feel to it (which sometimes feels unclean). The breakfast was FREE from the adjoining restaurant -- I can't complain, because it was free and decent, but I really prefer the buffet style breakfasts with options rather than this is the specific meal we prepare for guests. This hotel was not terrible, but it was not wonderful either. If you were looking to save some money or were on a tight budget, it works but I personally would probably spend the extra $25 and stay somewhere a little nicer. read more

Was in Clinton,OK for work. I just needed a place to stay a few nights. The price was super cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was gross, the bathroom even worse. To make it even worse they put me in a room right across from the bar that plays very load music until around 2am! Dirty, dirty, dirty! Bathroom is filthy and the wall has black all over it. Rips in the sheets, curtains are broken and don't stay closed, also the door doesn't lock as well as doesn't go all the way to the floor has a huge gap. The restaurant took over an hour to bring out the food (blt, patty melt, and kids chicken) and then didn't even bring my child's meal out till well after ours came out and I had to get it to go back to the room! If you complain about anything they will tell you a half assed sorry and tell you the econo lodge, they just remodeled. I don't recommend this place at all!!!! read more

COCKROACHES. We had three cockroaches in our room. Highly unhappy. And when we called the night desk clerk to get a refund/help, he was extremely combative and unhelpful. We were forced to leave in the middle of the night. However, there were two woman working when we checked in. They were super friendly and helpful. Great customer service. You get what you pay for. It was clean enough, we stayed in a room towards the front of the hotel, but had gone to the back thinking that's where our room was located. The back is.... questionable when it comes to cleanliness. The stairs outside are carpeted, so I imagine it's hard to clean, but they're very dirty. Some of the rooms are vacant and just have trash in them that you can see from the windows. Our room was mostly clean and had AC, so I can't complain there. When you turn on the shower, the water has a faint smell to it and the toilet had a few flushing issues. Overall, it wasn't a bad place for a single night stay but don't expect 5-star quality. read more

Look I understand you get what you pay for but for $85 I would at least anticipate that the room is clean. From unsuspecting eyes when you enter the room it seems clean enough.. there are linoleum wood appearing floors which is a nice surprise, considering most hotels still have that nasty carpet, but when we attempted to pull out the end table to plug in our cell phones we discovered a cozy spider apartment complex that has clearly been inhabited for awhile. The other interesting thing to note was that although this town completely shuts down @ 9 pm it looked like someone at some point actually had a party in the bathroom and while drunk attempted to spackle the shower rod back up after swinging from it. This place works for a one night stay while passing though a quiet town but don't have any expectations and don't move the end table.... read more

This place is old and run down. The sheets and towels were approaching worn out, and even the batteries in the TV remote were dead. The bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close, and the front door had no weather stripping. That probably explains the little black beetles in the room. I love googling "pictures of bedbugs" at midnight. They weren't, but still. Most importantly, the Hampton inn is less than a mile away, and much nicer. read more

Let's start with the good review first. The free breakfast (served in the restaurant) was a complete meal of 2 pls, 2 eggs, choice of meat and coffee. Sorry that's the only good thing. The floor was not clean, the bathroom had mold and we were afraid to use the shower. The TV was not an upgraded model (not HD). Parking, A/C, and noise level were adequate. You can't have too high of expectations when you only pay $60/night, but I gave this hotel 3 stars because it had ac and clean sheets and towels. We only had 2 bath towels and one washcloth so we had to ask for more. The nice housekeeper came super fast with more towels. I think they did a good (not great) job cleaning as old as the place is. Updating is a must but at least it didn't smell bad. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't let the lovely renovated lobby fool you, the rooms are straight out of the 60s. Pea green carpet, electrical power strip with black burn marks, mold, flies, sheets that don't fit on the bed and the bottom sheet pops off and wads up every time you move, flies, I'm afraid to take a shower here, the outdoor pool is open until 11pm and the entire hotel circles it, the flies, TV remote doesn't work. Did I mention the flies? Shame on you Days Inn...I expected WAY more out of your brand than this fly infested hovel. read more

After complaining to Days Inn directly (actually I sent the complaint from the hotel room), I received a quick response from the Wyndham hotels that the (franchised) hotel owners would be contacting me directly. This didn't happen, and after a few weeks I wrote back to the rep asking for an update. Within three days they offered to refund me half the charge of the room, which I accepted. I appreciate the Wyndham hotel groups' quick response, although I doubt I will be willing to test the Days Inn waters again, not with so many other hotel options out there. read more

I've stayed at a lot of Days Inns and this one was the worst I have ever been to. The room was clean but it had a horrible smell to it. I picked this hotel because it had the restaurant inside of it and after driving 12 hours I was hungry. I went to get a to go order of Chicken fried steak with a Dr Pepper. I get my food and go back to my room I take one drink of the Dr pepper and wanted to gag. It tasted like cleaner was added to it. I go and try my food and I threw up. It tasted like the oil they fried it in was old and rotten. The worst food I have ever tasted. At this point I was just done. I tried to lay down and sleep and all I heard all night was slamming of doors. Worst experience I have ever had. read more

Decent But *Severely* Over Priced Pros: AC worked great. Good water pressure. Clean shower. Clean toilet. Clean microwave. Clean warm-ish pool. Cons: Bugs in room, some dead. Some alive. Housekeeping took our towels but failed to give us new ones. Housekeeping didn't give us fresh bedding which makes me really wonder when the last time the bedding was washed. We had to request that they unlock the pool as they closed it about 2 hours early. Wifi sucked. Door didn't lock right. Didn't feel safe being by myself. Exercise room & ice room are literally motel rooms that have been sort of converted. Staff was almost non existent. Mini fridge didn't work right. As in barely kept food cold & freezer was a total bust. Removed everything including car charger from car. All in all we'd probably stay here again, given it wasn't $80 freakin bucks! We felt this was more of a $40 room. Certainly not $80! No free breakfast either. Have to go to re crappy Branding Iron attached to the motel or elsewhere. I'll review that shortly. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We laid down on them and instantly fell asleep. That was the most restful night of sleep we had on our entire road trip. The free continently breakfast was great. The restaurant makes it fresh for you. You get hot eggs the way you want them prepared, either two pieces sausage or bacon, two pancakes. Which is just what we needed for the journey we had ahead. The room was clean except the carpet which looked like it needed some work done. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would definitely stay here again. read more

Both rooms had: filthy, moldy caulk around commode and tub; yellow and brown stains on baseboards and corners behind the commode; moldy door frames at the hinges; dust on bed frame and dirty floors around bed; dotted stains on the sheets; worn out pillows; plastic on the mattresses; no continental breakfast as advertised; rotting, loose boards and exposed nail heads on walkway to the rooms; murky pool water the color of guacamole and no guests were at the pool on an August evening in Texas; room next door had wood over the window but it was painted the trim color of the hotel; noisy air conditioner; unpleasant odor in rooms. Paid for two nights, two rooms, but only stayed one. So worried about bedbugs we kept our luggage in the car. This was my worst hotel experience ever, including international travel. Budget hotels should not mean disgusting. read more

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever gone to. We didn't end up staying as after they showed us the third room, only slightly less dirty than the first, we asked to cancel our reservation and we onto the the Hampton. $30 more but clean, and super comfortable and clean bedding! We were pretty tired as we had driven over 800 miles and in the past Days Inn was a budget hotel but typically clean if not updated. If there was a way I would add the pictures I took. DO NOT STAY HERE! I was very disappointed and just didn't feel safe here. I took a shower and felt like I needed a shower after my shower. Had a bad, "sketchy" vibe. Didn't even stay the night, checked out only and hour after checking in. Stayed at La Quinta right down the street and felt much safer and more comfortable. If you like bugs,dirt and grime then by all means this is the hotel for you. I had driven 14 hours and had another 8 to go so needed a place to take a hot shower and get some sleep. Unfortunately I choose to get a room a Days Inn, there are probably 6 other hotels in the same area and I am sure they are all in much better condition than this place. This hotel is a slum and the owner is a slum lord. He/she invests nothing back into the rooms. The carpet probably needed to be replaced ten years ago and isn't clean. It's visibly dirty and grimy to the touch. I refused to use the shower and choose to continue to stew in my own sweat and stink. I laid on the bed and the mattress had been built up i the middle of the mattress. You could choose to lay on this elevated hump or either side of it and slide off the mattress. I checked in at 9pm and left at 330am. If I hadn't have been by myself I wouldn't have even stayed that long. Super 8 is next door, Holiday Inn Express is a few blocks away. I have no doubt either one of those places would have been much cleaner than the days inn. DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!! read more
