This guy is EXTREMELY CONCEITED, AGRESSIVE, AND RUDE! He pretended not to speak english. His name tag says Bobby but he doesn't respond to that name. We had booked a handicap accessible room on ground level 2 MONTHS in advance! When we tried to check in he literally pretended he didn't speak any english at all. This low life gave us a second floor room, in a hotel that does NOT have an elevator, and it wasn't anywhere near accessible from the parking lot. So when we reminded him that we specifically reserved a ground level, handicap accessible room, this CONCEITED JERK said " I already gave them all away! You are lucky you got a room at all!!" So now my parents, that have a really hard time with stairs, have to walk clear across the property AND climb two flights of stairs. THEN... when I went back to take a picture of him, so there would be no question of who it was, he was speaking PERFECT english with only a very slight accent. One of the better hotel options in Delta Utah. Most people staying here seemed to be construction workers or ray laborers. The blankets had cigarette holes the wall was an ugly yellow and I'm pretty sure the shower grout has never been cleaned. However the towels seemed clean and the beds were made. It was more comfortable to sleep on my sons sleeping bad mattress on the floor than on the bed. The breakfast was all prepackaged but they tried to have something out. Not sure if I can recommend, but it was warmer than a tent! read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I felt like we were at risk all the time, there is an employee named Bobby, he was too rude, rude, offensive: 1) when we arrived he did not greet us, he treated me as if I had interrupted his meal, and as if it was my fault that he had to work shift at night. He gave me the room, and did not explain to me where my room was, on the contrary he said - go around the corner and left. 2) On the day of breakfast, the same person who worked the night shift was there, he was attentive to see what I had for breakfast and how many items I had for breakfast. 3) I called him the day before my check-out to see if he could give me a late check-out option and Bobby wouldn't let me finish talking and yelled at me - NO! I will charge you $40 for every hour you stay over. Then I asked him again for the check out time and he told me 11:00 and then 11:30 and when I asked for clarity he told me 11:00 in a very mean tone. Honestly I was very anxious tonight thinking that Bobby was going to come by or yell at us. 4) today I checked out and there was another person, who was really nice and willing to help me with my doubts, there I could see a total change in Boby, he was smiling, he greeted me, he wanted to help me, but I was afraid of him so I didn't look at him and thanked who seemed to be his supervisor. The motto of this review is, "eh, coulda been worse." Unfortunately we were so tired when we arrived that I forgot to take any pics. We paid $100 for the night, which I felt like was WAY too much, but there weren't many other choices in the small town of Delta, UT. It was a warm place to sleep, though sometimes too warm because there was no controlling the little heater/fan thing. I wouldn't stay here if I had other options. The sheets were itchy and everything about the room was old and outdated. If there was an elevator I didn't see it by the room, so we had to lug all our stuff upstairs. Basic hotel. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The pool looks popular and we saw several people using it and the tables that are setup around the pool. The bfast is the typical complimentary bfast consisting of: weak coffee, yogurt, fruit, cereal boxes, juices, and muffins. The room smelled nice and clean when we came in and then found they stuck a fabreeze car air freshener to the AC. Seems like the place was recently painted, but judging the by the rather loose power outlets and ancient switches in the bathroom for the lights the place is due for a remodel. The carpeting is also showing it's age. We didn't use the microwave, but the fridge did refreeze our ice packs and the coffee maker worked. Beds felt comfortable enough so I can't complain too much seeing how the options are limited in Delta. read more

DON'T STAY HERE!! Front desk was shockingly rude, and dishonest to boot. I've never seen anything like it!! At checkout, He told me my rate was wrong, then changed it to a much higher rate right in front of me!! Wasn't interested in hearing what their rep 2 nights before had quoted me, and charged me an additional $168.00 over the price I was quoted. This was after he finally got off the couch in the lobby to check me out. He first just waved me away and continued watching the movie on his phone until I asked him to check me out, since I needed the receipt. If it hadn't happened to me I wouldn't have believed it !! There's not a lot to be able to say. There is not a lot of motel options in Delta, and this is the top choice available. It was clean. The location was great. There is one of Delta's better dining options on the other end of the parking lot. I didn't even look to see if they do breakfast, so I don't know anything there. I have another place in town that I always do breakfast at. I'd come back again. read more

First off, this is a 1970s era motel in Delta. Nothing fancy. But our room was clean and quiet, AC and wifi worked well, and great to be able to take a dip in the pool. Only thing that didn't work was the fridge. We'd stay here again. read more

Stayed in a king size room. As far as the room goes, there is nothin to complain about. Clean and spacious. The beds are comfy. Well maintained. Frig and microwave. Fresh tub caulk. Room smells clean. We were on the end room so the noise from truckers engine breaking while coming into town woke me at about 4am. :( then the people next to us woke me again at 6. So the walls are thin. Only REAL complain is the price of the room. $87.95 w/tax is ridiculous for a room on Tuesday @10pm Free wifi isn't a big deal I'm not sure what rooms the other reviews stayed in but ours was nice and I'm very picky. read more

Good place to stay if your in the area for work, passing through or need a place to stay for a day or 2 while stealth camping, full-timing in a small rig, motorcycle camping, etc and need a place to get out of the elements to get a shower and rest up from the road. Some things to do or see nearby include off-roading, U-Dig fossil digging, 2 museums, ruins of a WW2 internment camp, boating, fishing and golfing among other things. Delta is a nice fairly quiet town, but not much nightlife. There is a bar (Curley's) and a bowling alley. The Day Inn is not the Taj Mahal and is showing it's age a little, but generally maintained and priced decent. Free breakfast is what you would expect for free, pretty basic. The coffee could be better, but there is a McDonalds (I like their coffee, not much else) and the local travel center that have decent coffee. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful if you have an issue with the room. My experiences have been good here. Safe travels! read more

We checked in at the Days Inn on Friday, September 20, 2019. The next morning, my husband suffered sudden cardiac arrest. I called 911 and within a couple of minutes the hotel manager, Victor, was at my side. He promised to stay with me and he comforted me at a time of tremendous stress. He drove me to the local hospital and stayed by my side there. When my husband was life-flighted to a bigger hospital in Provo ninety miles away, Victor insisted on driving me there. He got me settled in the waiting room before leaving me. I don't know how I would have gotten through that terrible morning without his comfort and compassion! He went above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful! I will never forget him and the kindness he showed me. Was up working with our crew in Delta Utah last week and we stayed at the Days Inn. We have stayed here several times over the last few years and always recommend it. The rooms are clean and well appointed, The beds are new and comfortable. It has ample parking and great rates. The only down side I can say is that the breakfast isn't all that good. Just standard make yourself waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee and juice. They were in the process of changing over from packet oatmeal to a crockpot so did not have any for several days. Not really anything I could eat on my low carb diet. But it is still the best place to stay. They were getting the pool ready for the season the day we left. But it is still early for that part of the country. Victor always takes such good care of us. read more

Very reasonable, clean and quiet. Friendly staff and comfortable room and bed. There is a tv, refridge and microwave. Cereal with milk, juice and coffee for breakfast. No frills but if you just need a place to sleep and take a shower...it has a bath too, this is for you! Ask for a room if possible on the side of the motel that is not facing facing lot. This is a two star hotel but I will give it three because it all works and does what it says. read more

Clean; great friendly after Midnight desk person; didn't try the breakfast; pet friendly. Twice a year we do a road trip from CA to TX in the Autumn. This year we couldn't get rooms in Eureka or anything that looked decent/safe in Ely so called on the road & booked this. The town of Delta was a farming community and friendly. This Days Inn had large rooms and although not current in "decor", it was clean and we slept well. The guy reading at the desk in the morning offered to help with the cart even though smiling doesn't seem to be first nature for him. The night clerk was great! Costume service is great but the boss I can always hear him rushing his workers. Out of curiosity I asked one of the workers how much they were making in the pandemic and they had told me only $8 an hour. There work conditions were not very pro cautious! I thought essential workers would have to take extra pro caution and by the looks of it the gloves they had were cheap and no mask! Those workers deserve hazard pay! read more

If I wanted a dumpy place in Delta, I would have stayed someplace cheaper. Heads up Management! Employees or somebody is laying about your rooms during the daytime. The sheets were clean, but they were pressed into the creases of the mattress and wrinkled up. Like... "Somebody has been sleeping on my bed!" Considering the construction folk who stay here, the rooms are pretty clean. However, the breakfast bar was cleaned out by the same guys before 7:00 and not restocked! Five flies in the room. A place to keep my stuff and to sleep for the few days I've been in town. Stayed in 2 rooms. The first one had a queen bed, but the refrigerator was so loud it was horrible. This most recent time I cannot wait to leave and go sleep in my own bed. The mattress is the most awful mattress I think I've ever encountered.its a king sized mattress with ruts in it. It is hard and uncomfortable. Rotating the mattresses doesn't seem like it happens. Time for an update. Also, being ear plugs. People and traffic are heard all night long. Old hotel with no frills. Clean room and pleasant staff. Beds were ok but on the hard side. Bedding was minimal and boring. Wifi was decent and I was able to stream Netflix. Toilet could use some work. Loose and really short. I've never seen such a squat little toilet. Free breakfast was nothing to write home about. This motel has the makings of a 5 star facility. My room was large and the bed comfortable. There is a swimming pool that looked nice, but we didn't go in due to the large number of kids enjoying the holiday weekend there. There are a few things that could be better. The carpet had not been vacuumed after the last guest and there was a washcloth that appeared to have been used to wipe up some spilled coffee. The bed skirt was askew. The breakfast area was replenished quickly, but the counter was not kept clean. I think this is the nicest motel in Delta at this time. read more

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little worried that this might be a dump. It was not. Yes, the room did not smell the best and the bathroom was dated, but it was clean and I can't complain. I think the funny smell was actually coming from outside...it is, after all, a farm community. The pool was nice for the kids and the continental breakfast was just cereal, but for the price, I think it was good value. Should I ever be in delta again, I would have no issue staying there. read more

Outside is old style motor inn. The room was nice, clean and newer type furniture, bathroom and carpet was clean. Must have been the time of year but the flies were numerous in the room. The room even had a fly swatter so I suspect it's been a problem. The pool was already closed for the season. Breakfast was your typical free breakfast, but don't be late because they clean up everything on the dot and no seconds even if you wanted more. read more
