They all said they were full, so I called others who stated they were booked as well I went to the Garden Inn because it was close to the other hotel I was calling from, and they told me they were booked also I was making a few other calls before I went into a full-blown panic, and when I got off the phone, the employee had moved things around and could accommodate me. I've never been to a hotel/motel that worked toward helping someone. I go through there occasionally and can tell. You their one act of kindness has made a customer as long as I do near Savannah.

It's one of the newer if not the newest hotel in Statesboro. Check-in went smoothly and the staff was very friendly, especially the front desk. They were a pleasure to interact with. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It's close to restaurants, coffee shops, and GSU. The complimentary breakfast was decent, but I was only able to take advantage of it once. I did help myself to the coffee bar a few times, which is a feature I really like about most Holiday Inn Express hotels. We really had no complaints, other than the room felt a little damp. Even the clothes inside my suitcase felt damp after a day. It was humid in Statesboro that weekend (when is it not, though?), but the room still shouldn't feel that damp. Either way, it did not damp-en (get it?) our stay. Would stay here again if we ever travel back to Statesboro!

If you're traveling between Macon and Savannah and don't need to stay in a city, or if you already know you're staying in Metter, just keep going north a few more blocks and check out American. Except for this one pesky fly that found its way into my room (I'm gonna get you, little dude), you won't be sorry. (I also like supporting local businesses, so there's that feel-good bonus.)

After pulling into a dump of a hotel I said screw it and checked Yelp and this Edenfield B&B pops up & im like wth there's one of these our here in the middle of nowhere wow. I called even though it was after hours to see if they had a room and this sweet voice answers and totally made my day. Jasmine is a complete angel that totally made my stay incredible. Once I arrived she took the time to help get my motorhome parked as well as once inside show me my awesome room and get all my info for the stay. I've stayed @ probably 80 B&B's over the last 5 years and this was for sure in my top 10. My king room upstairs was awesome and super comfy. Shower was super hot ( the controls are backwards but I figured it out ) Breakfast was really good as well. I'll for sure be back AAA+++ Watch out for that Aaron character he's well let's just say he has a very proud proprietor of this majestic property. I made the reservation through Travelocity for one night, March 7, 2020 for a two bed room for my…read more14 year old granddaughter and myself. We arrived at 2:59 pm for check in. The room was not available because it had not yet been cleaned nor were any other rooms available. We were told it would be 10 minutes before the room was ready. After 10 minutes we went to the room and it still was not ready, the couple cleaning the room were making the beds and said they still needed to clean the bathroom. Since we had a wedding to get to, we left our luggage in the room and left. We returned late that evening. When I went in the bathroom, I found it in such a state of nasty filthiness that if it had not been so late, I would have demanded a refund and left. However, I did not want to search for another hotel in the middle of the night with my granddaughter in tow. There was mold all over the ceiling and tub. The shower curtain bar was in disrepair. The inside rim of the toilet was nasty and black. The back of the toilet was filthy. This filth is a build up of weeks, not from one previous guest before us. We did not hamper the cleaning people at all when we went to the room and they were still there when we left to go to the wedding. They had ample time and opportunity to do a thorough cleaning. Seeing the condition of the bathroom tells me that thorough cleaning is not their forte. In addition to the filthiness, the advertised amenity of free wi-fi was not available. It did not work at all. We called the front office and they said they would reboot the router. After 15 minutes it still was not available. We called the front desk again and we told that too many guests were using it so it wasn't available to everyone. What?!? I have never heard of any such thing. This morning when I went to the front desk to check out, I asked to speak to the manager. I expressed my complaint and showed her the pictures. The only thing she said was she would talk to the cleaning people, but she acted as if she could not care less about my complaint, although she did offer me coffee and wished me a safe trip. In addition, in response to my review on Travelocity, the manager implied the filth was my fault for interrupting the cleaning crew. When I called Travelocity regarding her response and they contacted her, she flat out lied to them saying I had told the cleaning crew not to worry about finishing cleaning. That is untrue. I did no such thing. First of all, I would never tell them they did not need to finish the cleaning - ewww! Second, the build up of filth on the ceiling, in the tub. and in the toilet shows that they do not clean properly and haven't for a long, long time. I understand that Motel 6 is a budget hotel, but I do not believe expecting our room and bathroom to be clean is unreasonable. I am beyond infuriated and disgusted with the hotel and with the manager.

Very pleased, room could use some lightening brightening up but hey I'm not here to decorate. Definitely would stay again. They have outside pool with hours 9am to 9pm, but too pooped from traveling to enjoy. Hope if you stay you have a great experience too. Our bed was very comfortable. No bugs or other creepy crawlies!!! Clean clean clean, including bathroom. Plus the next morning they offer a full Hot Meal Breakfast with Eggs, Toast, Waffles, Breakfast Meats..all part of the price of your stay! My bed is comfortable enough but not great. The pillows are typical lower cost hotel type pillows but they give you three per bed. Each room comes with a refrigerator and microwave. They have a morning breakfast that is eggs and sausage with toast. It also includes waffles, cereal, coffee and juices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is right down the street from multiple restaurants, the mojo liquor store and Wal Mart. I would definitely stay here again.
