I have stayed here at least 7 times and 90% of my stays were perfect. It's not fancy but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok but nothing too special. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, and washing room for clothes. Let me tell you about the location. It has a Walmart right across the street, which you can easily walk to. It also has a Mexican food Restaurant, an Arby's, and a Runza all connected and easily walked to in 1 minute. Do not expect amazing. This is a cheaper hotel. It was great for what we needed - one night along our road trip. We have a dog, so it was ideal for us. Pillows were the only issue for us - they are suuuper thick and made for a not great night. So, bring in your own pillow. There's not a lot of out door space for dogs to do their business, but our dog was able to find places to poop and pee. And yes, we cleaned up after him. :) Breakfast sounded good but we left before we could enjoy it. Most frustrating thing was that our neighbors complained about our noise level - at 8:00pm! Come on, people! Let kids be kids! It's not even bedtime! Overall, I'd stay again. read more

While we were crossing Our Beautiful Country we decided to stay in Days Inn. This experience was amazing! A receptionist is very polite, friendly, and solicitous! He got a very nice room for us. It has 2 beds, an armchair with legs support, and desk with office chair. Also, we got soap and shampoos. In the morning, we got a great breakfast! Even though, a price for the room was the same with motels where we had stayed earlier, the quality is much better in Days Inn. I would definitely recommend to stay here! read more

This motel was completely completely organized and spotless. The Best Western across the street was sold out last night and recommended me to the Day's Inn.. I was welcomed by Josh at the front desk. He was smiling and welcoming and engaged. He was excited that he might sell out every room. There were three rooms left after me. Josh behaved like an owner, maybe he is the owner? Not a bad stay overall, we stayed on the way out and on the way back from a trip to CA last week. The first night the No Smoking room wreaked of a smoke smell and upon approaching the desk I was handed a can of Febreeze as I barely got my complaint out of my mouth. And checking out the second stay I had a hard time finding anyone who would wait on me, even after dialing the phone notification setup they have on the desk there. I am so happy with the service here. They accommodated our pets and did not charge a ridiculous amount, service pets are free. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The breakfast was great. Apparently Sidney, Nebraska is the place to stay. Not the place to BE mind you, because aside from a whole lot of roadwork and the biggest Cabela's I've ever seen in my life, there's not a whole lot going on in this town. No, the hotels here are all booked because of the Frontier Days Festival in Cheyenne, Wyoming -- 100 miles away!! That's how big this festival is! I knew it was big, which is why I was spacing my drive west out enough so that I wouldn't try staying in Cheyenne or nearby Laramie. But I never in a million years would have guessed that folks would book hotels 100 miles away! Anyhow, it was comfortable and clean. For a stopover on a road trip, that's all that's needed! read more

It was ok except the service wasn't too friendly. I was watched with suspicion even though I'm a Wyndham cardholder. The worst part was I woke up at around 2 am because it smelled like somebody was straight jamming in the kitchen cooking some soul food. Got to Days Inn in Sidney NE late one night Got up to the room unpacked showered and went to get into bed, only to find dirty sheets! Called front desk, nobody answered. Luckily the room had 2 queen beds and the other bed had clean sheets. We were woken up at 2 am with crying kids being yelled at by an adult to "shut up!" Next morning at front desk the person working was cutting his toe nails as we checked out. Terrible experience. read more

Overall the room is decent. You're getting what you paid for. The bed was comfortable and room was clean but not many options for breakfast. We arrived late at night around 11:30pm from traveling all day and walked into no one at the front desk but they eventually showed up. What a butthole!!!! Online the hotel is priced at $51. Won't let you make a reservation at 2am online. Get there and the guy at the front desk says $71 because he only has 2 rooms left. What does that have to do with the price of beans Sends us across the street and tells us their rooms are $53. Get here and they are $75 for a disgusting dirty hotel.. Nothing Quality about this place, and I can feel something crawling on me as I write this review. Don't know if days inn was much better but he sure must of thought so. Very accommodating. After a long day of driving, we were tired and forgot to ask if they had an elevator. Out room was on the second floor and we had a lot of luggage. At first the desk clerk offered to help us carry things upstairs. But when we came back in with the luggage, he said he was able to move things around and found a room for us on the first floor. Pet room was disgusting..carpet was filthy, smelled, and overall room was not clean. Needs paint--ceiling was gross, bathroom and bedroom walls gross. The non pet room we reserved too was better..newer carpet and did not smell. I paid a pet fee but don't see how it's being used to keep up pet rooms. Day staff great..nite staff rude and I'm being kind. Close to food and Walmart. Pool & hot tube area was good but not enough towels and no drinks or food allowed. Would not stay again. read more

This hotel is old, dirty and out of date. The front entry smelled like something had died and the rooms were just "unclean". Towels and sheets were old and thin. To top it off, I was double charged on my credit card for my stay. I contacted the hotel, explained what had happened and asked that the owner/ manager Bob contact me. I was assured Bob would call me first thing Monday morning. Three weeks later and I have still not heard from Bob.... Avoid this property at all costs! read more

I have nothing too major complain about... The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. Spent time in the pool and hot tub, both were clean but the chlorine was a little too overwhelming in both, couldn't stay long... The only problems we did have were 1)that the room we were in was directly about the front entrance and the front door slammed all night and 2) our refrigerator didn't work and we didn't realize until we went to take our drinks out the next morning and they were still warm. Came into Sidney about 2:15am. Rang for front desk as per instructions. Gentleman came out from the back and was extremely efficient and provided great service for the hour. Rooms were clean and up to date but AC was a little lacking. Overall great stay for the price and purpose! read more

Yes this is definitely an older motel with As I witnessed the oldest clean crew I have ever seen. It is not the cleanest as the carpet is dirty looking an just looks tired. Our room had the thinnest towels and most important also the thinnest towel paper, and towels. The tub still had used soap and shampoo bottles and some else's hair on the towels . The owner of the place was nice/accommodating enough. But the manager/pool guy was so ridiculous and out of line. He literally stands 3 feet away from you and watches you as you make your breakfast or sit in the pool area. Just glares. Oh and by the way no water in the pool for the kids or let alone a beer for the dad (after driving 12 hours) because he can't be certain that it's actually "water" and also then he will be the one to have to "clean it up" lazy and disrespectful. I felt like a child. I'm sure most people that are staying here have driven many hours like us (12 hours) definitely drive a little longer and stay somewhere else. read more

The room is nice, clean, and big. It has two beds and a nice padded chair in it along with flat screen tv. The kids enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with biscuts and gravy as well as waffles, not just doughnuts. The staff was very helpful at check in. I will very likely stay again read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and after this past weekend I will NEVER stay at this Days Inn again! The visit started out fine and ended horribly! We checked in on Saturday and they were nice enough to check us in early. Then Sunday I advised them that I would be checking out on Tuesday rather than Wednesday and was told they would handle it. Then was called by the front desk person (very hard to communicate w him due do very very thick foreign accent and his poor English) he informed me that I have to contact Wyndham directly to cancel the extra day cause he couldn't change it. I felt that he just didn't want to. Then on Sunday evening my son asked for a couple of extra towels and on Monday the front desk man came to my room to get the two towels he gave us saying that we are only allowed to have the three towels and no extras. During my whole stay I did not have them clean my room as I do not need my room cleaned during my stay. On Tuesday my son's 10 & 15 went in to the breakfast area and got a Danish. Then while we were loading our vehicle the front desk man came out to me in the parking lot and accused my son's of burning his toaster with a Danish! When I told him that there was another person that was I there with my son's he raised his voice at me and told me, "No, your kids were the only ones in there and they did it!" I advised him not to raise his voice at me and I went to the front desk and gave my room keys and told him that I would never stay here again and his response was, "good we will block your name" I primarily use Wyndham hotels and I have NEVER EVER been treated this poorly and am very very disappointed in the whole thing! I hope that Wyndham will do something in regards to the way this man is representing their brand! read more

Avoid this hotel! First off made reservations with the guy that says he owns the place (Brian who won't give his last name) they lose the reservation. Won't do anything to help out at all. Then proceeds to tell me that they are busy and don't need my business. Not a very good way to treat customers. read more
