The place hits you with the smell of cigarettes immediately after you walk in. The wait time to be…read moretaken back was short but the wait in the actual bed was a while. In the back it still smelled like cigarettes and I'm about 90% sure that that place was not sterile. All I needed was a steroid shot (I couldn't go to Fast Pace across the street for insurance related issues) but it took over an hour when only around 3 other people were back there. Dr Johnny Presley was rude and seemed to act like I ruined his day/ shouldn't have been there. Finally once I got the shot I waited another 25 min for the discharge paperwork but got home and realized they didn't give me the correct stuff. I would call the office and they'd transfer me to their records person but I just kept getting hung up on. Long story short - if I'm ever dying I'd rather be shot than go to that hospital

PCHC is our hospital, PCHC is your hospital. that is a statement of truth, as an employees of…read more PCHC both present and retired i can tell you my review, my truth, my goals. this hospital has been the heart of a city and a county. my mom passed away in this hospital and right up til the hour she passed her care was excellent my family was treated with care, and compassion the doctors, nurses, and all staff gave us their heart to feel the pain i was feeling at my loss. everyone as human beings have an opinion about others, about businesses, hospitals, but one thing holds true when we are truly down or we are sick and in need i know one place that gives great care and takes the time to care in all capacities whether it is nursing care, ER, blood drawn or an x-ray for tests, surgery, nutrition, or cleanliness i believe you will find the strong link of team work that makes it all come together for each of us and our family is PCHC and their staff.

I was told by a nurse that she would have to sit in a chair until it dried. I became livid and gave her a piece of my mind! There were 2 beds in the room so I couldn't understand 4 the life of me why they didn't just switch mattresses. So after the nurse left the room that's exactly what I did. No loved one of mine is gonna lay in piss!! The care at this facility (if that's what u wanna call it) is substandard!!! The nurses wouldn't even help her in and out of the bed which resulted in her falling and possibly breaking her hip. The cleanliness of this hospital reminded me of tv show hoarders.
