great experience today! me and my partner came in looking for some quick tattoos - $100 minimum. that's okay! we decide to invest in some good quality work. overall - had a great experience. only thing that made me weary was that we paid in full for the tattoo before getting the tattoo, which I have around 30 tattoos and this is the first time i've ever done that. that's why it loses one star. I withheld my tip until the end. felt the price was a bit overpriced but I also didn't really try to haggle down the price as i'm not very confrontational, just kept my fingers crossed it would be worth it, it was! everything was cleaned properly beforehand. sketched fast and the design was exactly what I asked for. I wanted something very geometrical and was so nervous about it being botched but GIO did A GREAT JOB!!! I am so thoroughly impressed that I might plan to get another tattoo by him again if i'm ever on the daytona area. definitely recommend, his professionalism was exceptional and the lines and symmetry of the tattoo is extremely well done and obviously meticulous and technical. thank you to this tattoo shop for making a spontaneous tattoo adventure well worth it! would definitely recommend to anyone getting some ink work done, especially with Gio! Unfriendly staff Overpriced for henna tattoos after I researched other places. My daughter changed her mind about a tattoo because she realized it wouldn't last as long bc she would be swimming and they refused a refund after putting out money in the register. They were rude. The customer service is laughable. My bf and I walked in (he wanted to get snake bites) and people were laying down on the couches. They barely glanced up when we walked in. When someone did say hi, it took everything in me to not say "nevermind" and leave. But we were there for my bf and he's nicer than I am. I had to wait in my car because 1) the employees were sitting on all the couches and 2) the music was so loud I couldn't hear what anyone was saying. The woman who did the piercings was fine. I got my belly button pierced about two weeks ago while visiting Florida. None of the shops close to my hotel were doing piercings so they referred me to this shop. First off, the people at the front desk were rude. The girl who did my piercing was kind of nice, she didn't get mad when I was having a panic attack because I was so nervous. But she didn't measure me standing up which I've seen is what you're supposed to do because if you do it laying down, it can be off centered, which mine is a bit. After she pierced me, I couldn't see the bar at the bottom which I also have seen during my research before getting this done. Didn't think nothing of it because I thought it was swelling but now that it's been some time, I've realized that my bar is too short. The ball is embedding into my skin, leaving a crater. This is due to the girl not measuring correctly and not getting me a long enough bar. Do some more research before you choose a place to get your piercing done. Update: went to a piercers today and got a longer bar. Both piercers I saw said "wow. She did an awful job." I knew it from the beginning but didn't say anything because I'm not a professional... but clearly she isn't either. read more

I wish I could give zero stars!! I received a bad tattoo from Daytona Hardcore Tattoo. I attempted to get it fixed by the artist, Becca. She did not honor one appointment; I showed up for it and she was working on someone else. Then she set an appointment with me 2 weeks later and did not show up. I emailed the owner and explained the situation and he was out of town. He asked that I text him the week he returned. I text him and called and left a voicemail. He finally text back and set an appointment for me tonight, 4-14-19, at 7:00 PM. He did not show up and when I tried to call him he hung up on me and would not answer my texts. The is just a crap shop(s) that take your money and doesn't follow through. I paid $250 for a shit tattoo and even the owner refused to do anything about it!! read more

Called around asking for shop minimums for a tiny tattoo piece, and came across this place. Called and spoke to a woman that told me the shop minimum was 65. After driving over 20 minutes and getting there, the shop minimum was now "depending on placement" which was never stated over the phone call, and they wanted to charge me 100 for the SMALLEST piece. Definitely wouldn't recommend for those outrageous prices and poor customer service, not to mention an artist was literally laying down resting when I walked in lol. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life! I really was appalled. If I could give 1/2 a star I would. Male tattoo artist here are great and friendly. I came in for a really nice wrist tattoo I seen online with wording beneath the signs. The artist Mark informed me I would have to get larger lettering so that it wouldn't fade in the long run which I agreed to since he was an expert. First mistake I made was that I paid for my tattoo before seeing my stencil. Mark was professional and had shown my cousin her stencil before she paid. However, My cousin went with Mark to do her tattoo and I was left with a female reception at front who did not show me my stencil before payment like was shown to my cousin. After receiving my tattoo. I went up front to get refunded some money since I received a tattoo 1/3 the size of the one I paid for. The ghetto female at the register caught the only nasty attitude and said that she offered to give me 20 bucks back and that's all I would be getting. I informed her that my cousins infinity paw print tattoo (see attached photo) was double the size of mine and she paid $80, which she then fed me some BS story that mine had more detail. (See photo attached and decide for yourself) She also told me that I was lucky she was giving me 20 bucks because I already signed a contract. So I paid $193.00 for a tattoo with a $25 tip with no filling that is less then 2 inches big. She could keep my extra $80 bucks. She certainly looks like she needs it more then I do and seems pretty hard up for money. Maybe she can take some customer service or anger management courses. Moral of the story... don't give these people payment until they print and show you the stencil for your tattoo, because they will keep your money!!! BEWARE! The attached photo shows the stencil I was able to view after I paid for it... once I was shown stencil for the first time as I sat on chair I realized it was to big for my arm and informed them of this to reduce the price. I received a tiny tattoo which I preferred but paid the same price since she refused to do the right thing and charge me what the work was worth. As a man in military, I cant believe how me and the women I was with were treated. I have never been so disrespected, especially from people who were about to change my body forever. Terrible customer service came in for very small quick tattoo , was told to wait while they blew up homemade fireworks In the back(i know because they told me what they were doing), then my artist told me wait 5 mins and he picked up a burger king bag and didn't even acknowledge me. Then came back 10 mins later and said that he needed to set up his machine and eat, then take a smoke break/ finally started setting up 15 mins later and then tried to walk outside to take his smoke break, while he walking out tried to talk to him and he caught an attitude and was completely disrespectful. Took 2 hrs for what would of been a 10 min tattoo, didn't even get to it cause we ended up walking out, worst shop ever. Bathroom was also unsanitary and gross and did not even check for ID. JOEY is rude and the staff didn't care at all. We are here on vacation and just wanted to get a little tattoo to commemorate our experience here. Wish there were a zero stars option. I had a tattoo done here back on April 17th, personally I did not enjoy how thry charged me for my tattoo before I even sat in the chair. They asked what my price range was, and charged me my top dollar which was twice what i think the tattoo was worth. I had a close friend end up going to the same shop while he was on vacation in the past week and they absolutely butchered his tattoo. Great tattoo artists but horrible horrible customer service. My husband got a sleeve done here by Dave (the owner). The first appointment we had he never showed up and left us hanging. We never got an apology. Our next visit he wasn't ready for us and blamed it on us being 10 minutes late even tho we called to say we were running late. He then took an hour because he had to cancel another appointment. After he finished half the sleeve he told my husband he couldn't fit the whole thing in, something he knew he couldn't do before he even started. When we tried to book another appointment to finish the sleeve he never responded to us. However, he did do a fantastic job on the tattoo. I originally walked into the beachside location. As a new daytona residence, imagine my surprise when the cashier told me they have to send me to the mainland shop. I was a little nervous but I was game. I walked in got helped right away and then listened to the friendly banter between the staff and clientele. Chris Simon did my tattoo. I love it. You can go at your own risk: I from out of town, my sister and came to the location off A1A, after a few drinks for Cinco De Maya across the street  and waited for our lyft ride. Walked into the shop to look and was pressed to sign up for an appointment. Ride showed up and i went to car and my sister informed me she made the appointment and they asked for a deposit.  Jasmin booked my sister for an appointment for the next day. When i called to cancel the appointment due to the fact it was made while under the influence, i was told that it was non refundable.  Nice.  I never heard that but Jasmine insists that the paperwork that my sister signed had it on there and i also recall my sister saying 50 not 60 for the deposit.The kicker, Jasmine was matter of fact and didn't care when I said i will never go here for work. i guess it's this tatto shop's MO to have drunk people sign , pay a deposit without making it verbally clear that it was non refundable and have no issue taking money for not doing anything but take advantage of people. I love this place I always come here for tattoos, but Jan,22nd I came to get a Christina piercing and I paid $110 for it and when I got it, it was fine but as 3 days pass my piercing started sinking in and created a big hole from the bar being too short so I just went a took it out. I felt like I was played because they should know what length bar to put in when it comes to piercing vaginas, because everyone doesn't have the same shape and size. He told me to email him more pictures of what I wanted; I made an appointment for the following week and put down a $50 deposit. I emailed Dem and never heard from him. I went to my scheduled appointment and Dem hadn't come in (late for an appointment? Really?). The rest of the staff was joking around that it had happened before. 45 minutes later he STILL had not showed up. I wanted my deposit back but the girl there told me that I would have to talk to Dem (who later that day called my cell but I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number). When I called back later in the week I said I wanted to talk to Dave, the owner. This was over a month ago. After several phone calls and after having left messages regarding my deposit, I STILL have yet to be contacted. Like most of us, $50 is a lot of money; regardless of the amount, this has got to be the MOST unprofessional 'business' I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
