we came for the friday the 13th sale, that lasted the WHOLE WEEKEND! Ended on "Sunday the 15th at 10pm." Myself, my girlfriend and my best friend arrived to the shop at 8:40 PM! We walked in excited expecting we were getting piercings, they asked how they can help us and we said we were there for the sale. They proceeded to tell me that the sale was over and i asked well it says 10PM? they said that they were tired and done for the night and i told them i completely understood. The girl behind the counter with red hair then PROCEEDS TO SAY "That's the price you got to pay for waiting last minute." I was astonished with that comment, i even turned around to look at my group. I said "wow okay." We turned around and walked out. OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR, i said to my group "..Then why say you're doing a sale til 10 PM." then the other girl with a short curly bob then proceeds to scream and fly out the door and yell at us. She said "You fucking tattoo your back for 10 hour straight and tell us how your fucking back feels." i turned around and i said "excuse me what is your problem?." she continued to say that i was the one that had a problem and im the one at a lost. i continued to tell her that's extremely rude and unprofessional, they are the ones loosing sales. i told her nobody was getting tattoos, just piercings. Then i proceeded to tell her that she's extremely rude and there was no reason to speak to us like that. that they failed to update their policy and that they are out of pocket for treating me like that when it was their fault. i understand the situation of being tired and everything but other people have jobs as well. But it doesn't kill to make one post on instagram saying that you're done for the night. i made a complaint to the owner of both stores. and the receptionist said that this isn't the first time they have had complaints in the past month! wild behavior! read more

I feel that Brittany is absolutely amazing. She is the piercer at this location. I spoke to her on the phone and expressed to her that I had to do an MRI and I needed to put in a placeholder for my nose piercing so it wouldn't close. She directed me where to purchase a silicone piece and only charged me nine dollars. The whole process was very smooth and she was very kind and helped me through this time. read more

I was riding through Daytona Beach and needed a new hoop for my nose piercing so i popped in to Jet Set to check out their jewelry (yes- walk-ins are no problem). The store is large and very clean. The girl behind the counter was super cool and helpful when it came to picking out what would work best for me. Brittany was my piercer and she's bad ass too. She talked me through the entire process and the piercing itself was quick and easy. I literally was in and out of the shop within 10 minutes. If I am ever in the area again and get a bug up my ass for another hole (hey what's wrong with a little pun), I'd for sure come back here, hands down. I've had all kinds of things pierced and never jumped. It ended up crocked, so I took it out and let it heal for two weeks. I came back after the recommendation of Brittany and got it redone. AND IT IS PERFECT. HEALING AMAZING. She did a wonderful job. I'm very impressed. Everything was clean, she opened brand new equipment each time and wore a mask. OVERPRICED and SHITTY work. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friend and I showed up for a couple simple small tattoos. We were each getting a simple outline of a heart on our fingers and three tiny dots on another finger. We were both put with the same artist, and I went first. He put the heart stencil on and started to tattoo, I could immediately tell that the outline wasn't straight, but I didn't realize how bad it was until we left. He then tried to draw on the dots, without centering them with my finger or anything.. just eyeballing it. I asked him if I could draw them on and he immediately became pissed off, threw himself back in his chair, and said something along the lines of "why do you girls always want these dumb ass tattoos that look like shit." I obviously wasn't going to let him touch me with the tattoo gun after that so I said never mind "mind you we have already prepaid" and he said "You don't want it or you realized it was a dumb idea?" My friend was up next and she also only got the heart after seeing how he acted about the dots. Hers was even worse. He wiped our tattoos off with a paper towel, no ointment, plastic wrap (which is pretty standard as I've had that done with every tattoo I've had.) As soon as we got in the car I called the shop and told them not only how appalling the treatment by the artist was, but how terrible our tattoos were and that we were going to need to get them fixed. The receptionist said she would talk to the owners and get back to us. About 20 min later someone called back and said that they wouldn't refund us, but next time we're in town we could stop by and they would have another artist "try to fix them." The right side of my tattoo has completely bled and the left side has almost no ink (see picture below). I went to this place for a double helix piercing. The piercer was a bit rude to my gf who was just asking a simple a question. He pierced me and placed 2 studs with butterfly backs on them. The piercings were so tight on my ear, that there was no room for swelling/ or cleaning after care. My ear was throbbing and completely bruised. Got a second lip piercing here tonight, spider-bite style, next to an old one, by Tony. I was a little hesitant since I hadn't gotten a piercing in Daytona for at least a decade and a half and possibly never, and walking in for a body mod blindly is always a little disconcerting. But everything was clean, pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, and as painless as getting a needle shoved through your face can be (aka, it hurt a little for like... fifteen seconds maybe). And piercings/tattoos are not things I try to skimp on, but the price was still very reasonable. Reviews are right, it's a good place. read more
