After finding out my Aunt had passed, funeral services were scheduled 8 days later - I called to place an order for an easel flower arrangement - My 'ask' was for lavender roses & willow sticks within the arrangement giving it a rustic look - When asked if there's a flower I don't want... I said carnations - I asked if a pic could be sent to me prior to delivery - Even though the arrangement was beautiful... it CLEARLY was NOT even close to what I had ordered given that it had white roses instead of lavender, pink carnations throughout when I specifically asked to eliminate carnations & to boot it had no willow sticks - I was then sent a pic of a lavender rose they had in the shop which is CLEARLY NOT lavender but a mauve/pink color (pffft) - Bottomline, having 1 week notice my 'ask' was not met - I was not able to send an arrangement given that the funeral was now the next day - The only thing the shop did correctly & in a timely manner was issue a refund - I'm 110% highly dissatisfied; not to mention, disappointed read more

I've ordered from almost every floral shop in the valley, and some bouquets are close to the photos I've chosen from, and some are nothing like what I'd ordered, but Dazio Floral's bouquet was exactly what I'd ordered! I was astounded! It was perfect! The lilies will still open to enjoy, the colors were vibrant and beautiful, and it was perfect! When my niece's husband sent me a photo with her thank you, I matched it to the photo of the bouquet I'd chosen, and they were almost identical! Amazing! I wanted to send a coworker some flowers to show my appreciation. I found Dazio Floral on Yelp, gave them a call and voila! A beautiful custom arrangement in my price range with some specialty flowers included. I asked for maximum 2 colors and dahlias if available, with a backup plan and a style the nice woman on the phone shared from arrangements listed on their website. SO Disappointed! Ordered a corsage for my son's prom date from a picture off the website (left pic) and asked them to replace the yellow roses with white roses. Let down on my wedding day!! Unbeknown to me Dazio floral bought the flower shop I had booked in January for my September 24th wedding. When I started confirming vendors in August I called the phone number I had been working with, they answered the phone with the same name that I had originally booked, spoke with someone that said she would have the wedding coordinator get in touch with me. Three days later I received a text asking me to send pictures to get a quote for my wedding, I explained that I already had my quote and just wanted confirmation that everything was ready to go and to make a few changes. I heard nothing until I called the shop again a week later, asking to speak with someone to confirm my wedding order. I was told again that the wedding coordinator would have to call me back. I expressed my frustration that I was not getting my answers. About 15 min after hanging up I reviewed another text from the coordinator that finally told me that they had bought the shop I was originally working with and that they were unable to find my consultation form and that they had 2 options, they could continue to look or we could start over. I had paid my deposit in January and it was August so I felt I had no choice but to work with this new shop. Fast forward to my wedding day... when we finally got everything worked out I was told that the delivery would have to be at 1:30pm because that is when the deliver person came to work. On my wedding day I received a text at 11:05am from my coordinator that while she was gone to get some other supplies, the flowers were delivered and 1/2 the centerpieces were missing. I called the shop and was told by one person that not all the centerpieces were able to fit in the delivery vehicle and that the rest would be delivered shortly, on that same called someone in the background said "they are all there, 11 centerpieces" the person on the phone said they would call the delivery driver and call me back. I received a call back that the deliver driver confirmed that yes all centerpieces had been delivered. I called my coordinator and told her the info, she was adamant that only 7 centerpieces had been delivered, as we were on the phone the deliver driver showed up at the venue to show my coordinator where the centerpieces has been delivered and showed her 7 centerpieces, 1/2 of what was ordered. I called the shop again and told them what the driver had said and was now told the same story as before, only 1/2 fit in the delivery vehicle and the rest would be delivered by 1:00. When I asked why they had been delivered so early and not at 1:30 like I was told, they said "we couldn't find the note about delivery time, we've been trying to call you all morning" So stressful to deal with this the morning of my wedding. Few other things to note... My coordinator brought the bridal party corsages and bridal bouquet to the hotel where we were all getting ready. The bridal bouquet stems were wrapped in green plastic, I had assumed to keep them fresh, when we removed the plastic I saw that the burlap wrap I had asked for was not done correctly. Then to top everything off, all but 1 of the 8 bridal party corsages failed, the flowers detached from the wrist part. One happened as we were taking bridal photos at the hotel, 1 more on the way to the venue and 2 during the ceremony as the were walking the aisle. The other centerpieces arrived and were pretty but the rest of the dealings that morning made it hard to enjoy them. read more

One thing I want to mention is their dance flowers, I happened to be in there the day of a local high school dance and they were making what seemed like a hundred amazing looking corsages and boutonnieres, way cooler than anything I had access to as a high school student. Between the sales rep who took the order and the one who made the corsage and boutineer there was a mix up in the color (we had a unique color request that was misinterpreted) It was a busy day in the store with customers coming in to pick up their dance flowers. The Curly Willow accepted an order from 1800 Flowers from my husband for our 22nd wedding anniversary. By 7:45pm we still had not received the delivery. 1800 Flowers couldn't contact the Curly Willow so I decided to place the call myself. Upon answering, I was told that they were very busy and that they could deliver my flowers the following morning. I was angry and frustrated that they did not intend to notify us to let us know we would not be getting our order. I was given excuses but never an apology until I finally said, "Just apologize for your mistake!" I was also told that "everyone's flowers are important". Basically telling me that our order was not their priority. Thank you for that. It means a lot. Their customer service is argumentative and combative. They did get my flowers to me at 8:45pm however the next day, they also decided to send me a nasty email. See email below. By the way, my husband had placed the order the day before our anniversary. Their issue was with 1800 Flowers but I assume they wouldn't want to take their frustration out on their bread and butter. Upsetting one local customer is better. Too bad we now have social media. There is no reason to ever use this company with all of the wonderful florists in SLC. "Thank you for your reply. In checking into your order after your telephone call, the order was forwarded to me around 3 PM for same day delivery. While it was a very busy day I accepted the order and delivered it to you. In fact it was upgraded from the order because of the late delivery. We upgraded the chocolates and added more roses. I also contacted my rep at 1800flowers to confirm that I had upgraded your arrangement and chocolate purchase. They have issued you a refund. At this point I would say you are satisfied as you received more than was ordered and a full refund. Regards." read more

Heather was amazing! On new years eve, my date and I were planning to go to a formal new year's eve ball in Park City. The problem was that we didn't know if the dress my date wanted to wear would be ready in time. Well at 10 am on Saturday, Dec 31, I got a text picture of my date's dress. Now the rush was on at 10 am to find my date a corsage to wear with her lovely gown that evening. I called all the floral shops in Orem and Provo. You could tell that the people working at the places I called where more concerned about going home early on new year's eve than helping me out in my situation. No floral shops in Provo, Orem, American Fork or Lehi could help me out. As a last ditch effort, and feeling like there was no hope to give my date a corsage that matched her dress that evening, I tried one more floral shops, calling The Curly Willow. Heather answered the phone. She listened and said she could and would help me out! I mentioned to her that I needed the corsage today and if she knew I needed it that quick? She laughed and said, "Well, I was hoping to get out of the store by noon (it was 10:30 when I called her) and she said she could do it and have it to me by noon! Wow. I was surprised, mostly because virtually 8 other floral shops i previously called said, "NO, not today." I explained to Heather what I wanted. She asked me what color the dress was and i stumbled and stammered and said, "the problem is that I am color blind and I don't see colors quite the same." Heather laughed and said that was ok. She asked me if I had a picture, which I said yes, and that my date just texted me a picture of the dress. "Great, text me the picture and i will match the colors to the dress," was Heather's response. I texted the picture to Heather and she texted me back and said, "The dress is beautiful; but, it is too shear and the straps are too small to pin a traditional corsage on it...so, I recommend a wrist corsage instead." By that point, I was sold on Heather's expertise and recommendations, so I said, "Whatever you think would work and look best, I am fine with it." I told her where I lived and that I would be leaving soon to make the 30 minute drive to her place, probably getting there about 11:45 or so. She said that would be fine and that the wrist corsage would be ready by then. I was there to her store at 11:40 and I introduced myself and we exchanged some friendly conversation as she put the finishing touches on the wrist corsage. "You must be the owner," I asked? "Yes, I am, why?" she said. I explained to her that all of the other floral shops I called near me weren't interested in helping me out and that I could tell the employees at those shops were more interested in going home early that day than helping me out. Heather laughed and said, "Well, I do own the store and I manage it. I am alone here today and I gave my employees the day off; but, I like to do what I can to help customer out." I was pleasantly pleased with the finished product. The corsage was beautiful and my date loved it. In fact, when I gave it to my date that evening, she asked me how was I able to get it to match her dress so beautifully, when she'd just texted me the picture hours earlier? I smiled and said, I have a friend in the floral business and she helped me out in a pinch! I consider Heather to be my friend in the floral business and I encourage all of you who want great customer care, attention to detail and friendly assistance to immediately drive to Heather's shop, "The Curly Willow," and tell her that Brad recommended you to come to here store. When I paid Heather for the corsage, she said it would be $23 dollars. When I swiped my bank card to pay for it, I added a sizable tip and told her thank you. Heather really came through for me when others closer to me couldn't. Small businesses survive best when they provide personal customer service with a smile. "Thank you, Heather," for helping me out and making my night with my date a success. You came through for me when I was in a tight spot and your willingness to help me last minute the way you did was fantastic. I will be back. Count on it. I wanted to try out a local florist instead of those call-in centers. I walked in on Saturday with a request for delivery on Monday for a birthday arrangement with a Hawaiian theme. Heather, the proprietor of the shop worked her wonder and on Monday delivered a beautiful arrangement of roses and lilies and a rich assortment of other flowers in a pineapple shaped vase that perfectly fit the theme I desired. Not impressed with their flowers or their customer service. I placed an order with FTD which was fulfilled by The Curly Willow. The bouquet I ordered was not what was delivered. It was missing part of the flowers and was grossly misshapen. Not the perfect way to say "Hey mom, I love you!" The bouquet made it seem like I was saying "You're an okay mom and this sad bunch of flowers is all I think of you." Thanks Curly Willow, you made me look like a champ.... When I contacted FTD to have the order corrected, The Curly Willow told them the bouquet was adequate and refused to send the correct arrangement. I even provided a picture of the actual bouquet that was received which clearly showed missing flowers and a lop-sided bouquet that looked like it had been dropped. Rather than be professional and fix their mistake, they pocketed their $60 profit and argued that their grocery store discount quality bouquet was "adequate".
