Found a flyer for this place b/c it had a great offer. Thought I'd give it a shot & met w/ Heena who is the owner & does the threading & Henna tattoing, which says a lot about the personalization she gives to all her clients. So I've had eyebrow threading done before & it's always been a painful process. Needless to say I've been a fan of waxing for a long time. However, she threaded my eyebrows & it was completely painless! She has the hands of angel - definitely a seasoned veteran. I can't say enough of Heena @ Dazzle Beauty. I went again today b/c it was much needed & she was amazing again despite her busyness. Her services are reasonably priced (hope they stay that way for a looong time). Used to get my eyebrows threaded at the mall before I found this place. Here is much better! Doesn't hurt at all and with better results for a good price. I've seen complaints about a long wait time (I've only experienced this once since I started coming here, I arrived with three clients ahead of me. Waited maybe an extra 25 minutes. Every other time I was seen right away) but personally I liked seeing that she took her time with each client as opposed to rushing through everyone like some other places I've been to + the results are always very good so I think it's worth the possibilty of a little extra waiting time. The place was very cozy and the person running the business knew what she was doing. Very professional, inviting, caring and warmhearted. I went in the late afternoon with my boys and she had a cute corner with books and TV, so that the kids were entertained while mommy was being pampered. This place is good AT FIRST, over time you realize you're wasting your time. If you don't make an appointment you wait for 40 minutes or longer and if you do make an appointment and get there on time for it she tells you that you never made one and makes you wait. This has happened to me TWICE. What's the point in making an appointment when she doesn't write it down then forgets and doesn't apologize or take you promptly? Then she makes you feel like she's doing you a favor by taking you when you originally had an appointment that she doesn't remember! I won't be going here anymore I've had enough. She has a little entertainment corner for kids which is great and is she is very patient, when I came in there was a few kids running around yelling and it didn't disrupt her work in any way. Heena is the best. She greeted me with a smile when I Walked in. she was waiting on her "late" appointment. She kindly asked what I needed and said "I can do it right now". I'm picky with ppl touching my eyebrows but I can honestly say I trust Heena to thread my eyebrows any day. It takes about 15 min to do. 8$ for threading is a great price. I love going here!!! The price is amazing, she takes her time and is precise. There are pictures to show her what you'd like. It's soooooo much better than the salon in the AV Mall. I go here almost every 4 weeks. She's personal, funny and sweet. Only thing, she takes her time so allow time for someone to be in front of you. this lady is a liar, i have been a customer of hers since she opened and referred many people to her plus i always generously tip one friday i called her and asked for an appointment to get my eyebrows threaded she said she "no longer took appointments on fridays" so i respected that and came to see her 2 weeks later on a friday, her place was empty and she made me wait because she was waiting on an appointment what the heck is that about ? i kindly asked if she started taking appointments again and she made a lame excuse and continued to make me sit there and wait for another 10 minutes!!! i then remembered i had a customer loyalty card that was all punched and asked if i could get my eyebrows done for free (since that is what the card states after the 10th punch) and she said no that i would have to pay and maybe she would honor it next time so i said well there won't be a next time since i have been a loyal good customer and this is the way you treat me i ripped the card tossed it in her waste basket and left and not only this but she talks bad about other eyebrow threading businesses and talks about how "hairy" other customers are which i consider very unprofessional. don't waste your time she might seem sweet at first but she will show her true colors sooner or later... read more
