Suit Issues: * All 9 rental suits arrived in the wrong sizes due to incorrect measurements taken by the shop. Several groomsmen recognized the measurements were off at the time, which is why I proactively provided correct sizes in advance, yet the suits still came in wrong. * Both fathers' purchased suits were also incorrect (pants several sizes too large, vest too small). * The groom's suit had to be purchased elsewhere days before the wedding after multiple failed reorders. * Most notably, one groomsman was given the wrong suit color entirely (the groom's color), which was only discovered on the wedding day. This is clearly visible in photos and should have been caught prior to pickup. * Groomsmen had to make multiple trips to the shop due to ongoing errors and limited business hours. Dress & Alteration Issues: * My bustle failed within an hour, forcing me to hold my dress for the remainder of the night. As shown in photos, I had to physically hold the gown to keep it off the ground, which made dancing and moving around uncomfortable and even left marks on my arm the next day. * The cups in my gown were not fully sewn, and a strap was sewn on twisted. * A visible tag showed through my dress, which I had to cut out myself on the wedding day after it was dismissed by the owner during my final fitting. * My maid of honor's dress was altered so poorly it was unwearable. * Additional bridesmaid issues included incorrect hemming, poor fit adjustments, and repeated zipper failures. Customer Experience: * When I came for final pickup, I was met with aggressive and confrontational behavior, including raised voices and items being slammed, bringing me to tears just days before my wedding. * Despite clear errors, I was told I would be charged for reorders caused by their mistakes. * After the wedding, the shop refused accountability, declined refunds, and instead contacted a groomsman directly rather than addressing the impact on us as the couple. As a group, we spent over $3,000, and the experience was stressful, disorganized, and far below what should be expected for a wedding vendor. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of ownership, professionalism, and resolution is what makes this experience especially disappointing. When we asked if there were other options in the store that matched what I was looking for, I was told there was "nothing else," which felt dismissive. At that point when my consultant said there was nothing else in the store, I'd tried on 5 dresses. For a store that promotes itself as size-inclusive, I was really uncomfortable with how I was treated. I was repeatedly squeezed into dresses that didn't fit properly, to the point where I could barely breathe in some due to improper clipping/zipping. At one point, the clips in the back popped open and the metal snapped against my back, which was both painful and embarrassing. There was one dress I liked but didn't love, and instead of continuing to explore other options the consultant kept pushing me to purchase it. She focused on how it could be customized, even though the things I didn't like weren't minor fixed... they were fundamental elements of the dress. Throughout the appointment, she kept checking her phone and commenting on the time, which made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. To top it off, I had clearly stated my budget, yet she pulled a dress that was nearly $1,000 over. Her response was a casual "haha whoops," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. SEVEN MONTHS LATER (the dress came in a month late) I picked it up, paid the balance, and brought it to my seamstress. (Lastrina does not do alterations, nor are they included in the price). When I tried the dress on again that same day I picked it up, I realized the fabric label said "100% polyester". I contacted the owner of the bridal salon immediately, and she said there was nothing she could do. The owner told me that her salesperson NEVER would have told me it was silk. I told the owner that polyester makes me itchy and she responded saying that "the majority of your wardrobe consists of polyester." She also said that because the dress is a high quality polyester I "don't have anything to worry about." (I'd like to make it known that I do not know this woman and she does not know me.)

Mary agreed to see me starting about 3.5 months out from my wedding date, and we determined that she would need to reverse nearly all of the previous alterations and start from scratch. I had around 5 fittings with Mary over the course of this process, and she worked miracles on my silk chiffon gown which was stretched, warped and even torn in some places from the previous set of alterations. She fit the dress perfectly to my body and never made me feel insecure. And to top it all off, she charged us HALF what I was expecting for the amount of time she'd put into it. I can't recommend her enough for bridal alterations!
