I don't know if I'll use them again, the difficult part is that a lot of stucco companies will only redo your WHOLE house, so for touch-up repairs you're limited in options. Office coordinator Jordan scheduled our work to begin exactly as promised - pending weather - and kept us informed throughout the work period. Gary Hernandez from Stucco Now came out promptly to assess the whole house, and expertly determined which issues needed to be dealt with right away and which could wait for a while longer. In addition to the main cracks, the workers fixed a couple of cosmetic cracks as well. One more substantial thing didn't get done (for good reasons, based on the judgement call of the very experienced crew foreman) and the job didn't take as long as had been estimated. We asked for the invoiced cost to be reduced to adjust for the difference between the work as originally bid and what actually happened. Gary listened to our feedback and perspective, sent a worker to address a repair that didn't meet his quality standard, and he reduced our invoice. Gary was competent and professional throughout (and so were the workers who came). This is a young company (they are licensed, bonded and BBB accredited) and through our discussions with Gary, we know that they are working on making Stucco Now the best company out there. We bought our house in 1998 and have had trouble with leaks almost from the get-go. We had it reroofed with foam through a local Santa Fe roofer in 2003, and it began leaking about three years later. It turns out the acrylic paint they used on their foam was not that great. I've been painting it myself with silicone roof paint, but the leaks finally caught up to my efforts this past winter. We chose 99 Restoration because of their good reputation, and they did not disappoint. Tyler was helpful and responsive to questions. They waited for the right weather to do the best job possible. The polyurea lining on top of the new foam roof seems super-durable, and I feel I can sleep peacefully while I'm listening to the rain fall on our roof. I needed repair and replacement or weatherstripping, but since it's on the second story, this was no small task. Erick Morales came and used scaffolding to work from the outside and did a splendid job at a very reasonable price. The windows now have very tight seal and it's hard to show that in a photograph. I show the scaffolding just to show the complexity of the job.

NOT RECOMMENDED! This is by far my worst contractor experience. I was left completely in the dark…read moreon project start dates, delays, return and finish dates, and special order updates. I grew extremely frustrated, and was eventually forced to conclude Lujan & Sons Constr. (LSC) has no concern for customer satisfaction. LSC was contracted for a tar/gravel re-roof and parapet repair. Here is just a PARTIAL list of what I experienced, and what should be considered red flags for potential new customers. - HSC failed to pull a permit, as required by the city. I checked with the city the day after the job was finished, and again 1 week later. JSC even cashed my final payment BEFORE I forced them to pull a permit with a series of documented text messages. - 2 delays on my re-roof project start date without any advance notification (once, they called THAT morning). - I had to spend 45 minutes every evening cleaning up after the roofers around the entire perimeter of my home. The debris included roof gravel with sticky tar, which forced me to wear shoes covers. I soon discovered they swept roof gravel into my decorative rock and flower gardens. - In one instance during my evening clean up, the roofers left several large pieces of lumber next to my driveway, which protruded 8-9 inches into the sidewalk. Very dangerous, and another city ordinance violation. I was forced to move them myself. - Without my permission, they used MY waterhoses, pushbroom and even my A-frame ladder (to hang plastic over the windows). Talk about a major contractor NO-NO!! For liability reasons, I NEVER would have allowed them to use my A-frame ladder! - They double-kinked my water hose in the frontyard to "turn off the water", and once left the water running for hours until I turned it off. - They threw trash in my recycle bin, which included a beer bottle wrapped in aluminum foil. - HSC asked for a progress payment, which was NOT in the terms of the agreement; I refused. - I never once received a phone call asking if I was satisfied with the work, with the work crew, with their daily clean up, if they were on time in the morning, if they worked a full day, if I had any concerned or complaints that needed to be addressed, etc. Not once. To put my review in perspective, I have been a homeowner for 30 years; this is not my first experience with contractors, both good and bad. I believe this makes me more than qualified to provide potential customers an objective review based on facts, many of which are documented with photos and text messages. Lastly, HSC has given me NO reason to believe I was provided a high quality roof and parapet repair that will last 20+ years. They showed no concern in my immediate satisfaction, so why should I believe they are interested in my satisfaction 15 or 20 years down the road!? I would strongly advise against using this company!!
